I just saw this shot for the first time as part of a slide show on my TV's screen saver. It's jaw dropping! I went and looked up Vagar and the Faroe Islands since I had never heard of them. The site showcased different tours you can take all featuring the stunning scenery of the country. Doubt I'll ever get to visit but it was nice living vicariously through the photos.

Datruebeast200 wiki says the lake has different names in different villages..... They also call it just vatnid = water.
