I am surprised Faroe Islands isn't one of the wonders of the world because it is epic, gorgeous, beautiful, breathtaking, picturesque, and stunning place!
my legs are turning jelly even through watching you placed your tripod so precariously... im loving all your videos - providing me for inspiration for my trip in 3 weeks.
location..location...location...and again you are sending them out of the park...hope your companions are getting shots of this quality..look forward to next instalment
Hi Paul I am really enjoying your Faroe Island adventure . Just watching you near the edge of those cliffs gives me weak knees and dizziness. Keep them coming always enjoy your vlogs. All the best from a Canadian Prairie Girl
Hi Paul, this is called slave mountain, the Vikings used the throw their disobedient slaves off from the top, it kept you in check! by the way I went to the Faroes with Mads and Nigel, but wouldn't mind going back!
In this eposode i get a little close to the edges so dont copy me, I love the view when looking down and i am good with heights. Anyway i am going bcak in September 2023 if you would like to join us drop me a line or comment below. Group of 6 should be fun.. www.paulcomptonpdphotography.co.uk/2023-trip
I bet this episode had Mrs C dusting off the life insurance policies. I prefer terra firma and the firma the better. Joking aside that was epic Paul and what amazing images especially the pano. 📷👏🥇
Amazing place and amazing photography, superb stuff Paul. I think though when you get home your gonna get an ear bashing from Mrs C as you were far too close to the edge, she didn’t want you coming home dead. Be careful!
Great video Paul! Honestly, I prefer your vlogs on the Faroes to those of your 'heroes'. Since they depend on workshop attendees to make a living, their vlogs sort of 'infomercials' and only show the most spectacular locations in peak conditions. I appreciate that you show us what the full experience would be like for the rest us mere mortals, ie. where you are staying, how difficult it is to get to the locations, and what can be done when conditions are less than ideal. I love the wide angle pano at around 11:30 in the video. You mentioned that there were challenges in post processing, I imagine with the wide angle distortion. The results were great, so could you one day do a quick vid on how you processed that pano? I've been a subscriber for years and want to thank to for all the time and effort that you put into sharing your adventures with us. PS. I hope that Mrs. C got to take her own 'bucket list' trip while you and the boys were in the Faroes.
Well Mrs C is off to Dublin for a girls weekend soon.. god help Ireland... lol I will make a video one day sure, when i find time haha it was not as bad as i thought in processing.. i love to make my videos about the trip and the day out, i know i dont have the big following because ofd this but at least its real
I'm not even there and I'm having a hard time looking over the edge with you. Must be my old age, but I just can't get as close to the edge as I used to. At least I know it's not just me from some of the other comments.
Stunning images Paul! Faroes has on my bucket list for ages. Been to Iceland, Svalbard, S Georgia & Antarctica but those cliffs take some beating for spectacular images
If you really want to go i am putting together a group trip for 2023 September i have two places left. low cost shared fun.. www.paulcomptonpdphotography.co.uk/2023-trip
My toes were curling just watching you on those cliff edges. It is a seriously impressive country and you saved the best shot to last. I thought the house was a rock.
Hi Paul, what a great location and fantastic motives. I got very dizzy while watching the video because I'm afraid of heights. you are very brave. nevertheless fantastic photos were taken. Greetings from Germany 😉🙋♂
Some powerful images there Paul and what great weather you had. I have been to Iceland, Lofoten and the Outer Hebrides but this really takes the cake. You might want to take a parachute for safety on those edges, oh and a life jacket!
