- Nothing could have prepared us for this incredible boat trip on the Faroes Islands. Visiting Streymoy was a highlight of our visit. Not only did we take this incredible boat trip but we also visited the wonderful remote village of Saksun with its turf-roofed houses and stunning lagoon.
The incredible boat trip took an amazing twist by taking us in deep gorges between the cliff faces some of which are 600 metres high. The trip was out of this world and one you should make when you visit the Faroe Islands.

We have been in Ireland before for a long weekend, we have a few videos on that. We planned a week long trip travelling the south west coast up to the north but covid cancelled it. We have yet to rebook but we will be that is for sure 😊

It's incredible series was gorgeous. How much amazing places I never had seen. You made in silent the boat trip for the channels, only letting the music playing, what gave us the majestic views and sentiments for cliffs. Was astonishing to watch 🤩👏👏👏👏👏👏

That boat tour was well worth the £48.. Couldn't help but think tho that if the boat sank swimming to land would be pointless!! The size of those cliffs!!
It certain was worth the money, and with the prices in the Faroes for most things so high, you don't say that very often!

As always lovely music throughout but especially during 2:17-4:00 and also during the boat trip. One of your best videos. Well done with the drone shots. Curious- How did you gas up your car? No gas stations in sight. And no people in sight either. Extremely isolated. What a lonely life. 😮
We had to take the drone shots from a royalty free site to give perspective and cover the areas we could not visit due to the weather that day, so cannot take credit for that. There are lots of gas stations on the Islands we just didn't film any. You can drive from the most southern point on the main islands, to the northern most point in a little over an hour so it's pretty easy to get around. You only really see people in the most populated areas like Torshavn and Klaksvik. Most of the small villages just have a few people living there, and just 55,000 on all the islands.

I watched all four parts and enjoyed them immensely (I rarely watch a single full video, much less a series). My question is this: Did you get a take on whether or not the locals were in favor of the their country emerging as a travel destination?

This was absolutely incredible 💙Cannot thank you both enough 🙂Please forgive my perhaps silly question; on the lands where you can walk for free or the ones that have charges, is there a clear way of knowing what is for free & what is not & of course as you mentioned, most land owners prefer not to have people walking across their land for obvious reasons, are there sign posts, to my thinking maybe not, or infrequent ones as that would disturb the land in a visual sense & it helps to make sure people are not walking around all over the place, (A) to preserve the lands & (B) to stop people in general going walk about. The last thing one would want to accidently do, is go walkabout only to then find out you were not really supposed to be in said area. I hope my rambling question makes sense?
