Shock Troopers & Shock Roaches | Half-Life Resurgence

- Shock troopers are thought to be the most intelligent species of the Race X group. Their intelligence can be seen throughout their human-like behaviors. They also make use of weapons, take cover behind objects, understand the danger of grenades and the ability to throw it back! There are much more intelligent behaviors in these species, many of them are showcased in the video. The video also included Shock Roaches are giant insects that are used as a bioweapon by the Shock Troopers. When controlled by a trooper, they fire plasma, but by themselves, they can only leap attack. In conclusion, Shock Troopers will be one of the main opponents to other army species such as HECU, Alien Grunts, Combine etc in Half-Life Resurgence! Enjoy!

I hate how criminally under appreciated these dues are. Heck, Race X should appear in Half Life 3 if it ever comes out!
Race X was always so mysterious and awesome in my opinion, can't wait to see them again in the remake of Opposing Force since I really doubt we will see again in the next official HL games.

Wow! The AI on the Shock troopers is very cool, like that they can throw back enemy grenades. The Half-Life Resurgence SNPCs always manage to surprise. Again very nice work.
It would be cool if there was a conversation mod that npc talk to each other sometimes
They already do...

If you look at Opposing Force, Shock Roaches after the death of one owner will look for another, but they do not live long. They are neutral in relation to the player (if you do not pick them up), and he in turn can pick it up and use it as a weapon. And if the player already has a Shock Roach in their hands or in their inventory, the other Shock Roaches will attack it. And yet, if you shoot a Shock Roach under water, the electric discharge will kill the shooter.

And not only the shooter, but everyone else underwater.
Do you have plans for making the construction worker well it could just be a walking npc that could aperently fix things and be friendly to every human snpcs less than soldiers

This Resurgence pack is one of the best things to have ever happen. I'm a bigger fan of the Goldsource Resurgence part if it. One thing I noticed missing or not included is the Shock Trooper's Melee, pain & death sounds. I don't want to nit-pick at all, just a little detail I noticed and would love to have those sounds included with them, maybe in the next big update or patch? :-) Otherwise, keep up the good work VJ team!
Thank you, as for the sounds they are all direct ports of the original games itself, maybe in the video it's hard to hear?
@@VrejGaming Thank you for replying back! That's a possibility. Maybe my ears don't work or something. But I've used them in game as well. It's when I hit them with melee just to have the best audio, they don't make any grunting or death sounds. Like their language works perfectly, just those sounds are the ones I can't hear or have trouble hearing.

Not half life 1 sweps BUT 4 new weapons: AlyxGun, Combine Sniper Rifle, electric bow and Rebel RPG

I would also like to see minor characters like janitors, the moving vehicles and robots from the beginning of Half Life, the forklift guy, etc. take your time, it will all be worth it for you and us in the end.
I do ask that you take your time adding content. Rest a little, don’t work yourself too hard. The release date is set sometime in 2021, but do take your time. :)
I would like to see the charger. An enemy with not much known about it, but I am positive your fabulous mind can think of something. The model/effect is already in the file anyways.
We tried, the model is beyond repair not sure how much we can do with it
