Hey all, just wanted to share that you may see a slowdown in our content for a week or two. Our team is having a challenging month between work and for our content manager, a work fire that took his office out (everyone is safe and sound). We will definitely be back in a normal routine later in February. Thanks for your patience and for sticking with us during this time.
I’m sorry to hear about your content manager’s office but glad no one was hurt. There’s plenty of good discussion about the science of running in your old videos to hold us over anyway.
Great review. You’re the first reviewer to point out the low volume at the front affecting the toes. I definitely noticed it but it hasn’t been an issue yet. This version definitely reminds me more of the 25 than the 26 though once I hit 100 miles in the 25 I felt like the foam started to feel a little more flat. Sounds like that may not be the case with the 27. Cheers.
Thank you, great review and nice to hear its that durable! I think its still pretty soft and not stable neutral for me, very different compared to Kayano.
Love 100+ miles review. 50miles are, imo 1st impressions from the break in period. Still very relevant, but to me 100+ miles just carries more weight for me.
A lot of the characteristics you describe is why I think shoes like the Hoka Clifton are so popular. Not the most exciting or uptempo shoes, but they are reliable anti take good care of my legs. When them legs are fresh, I’ll reach out for something different. However, when knees, other joints or muscles are making me aware of their existence, I’ll reach out for something reliable that takes care of my legs. Lately Novablast has also called to me on those days, so there is that, but when I really want to pamper my legs and joints, Clinton it is. I know, I know, very exciting, not very good for content, but very good for what they are, eating up miles and allowing for you to do it again and again the following days. I conjecture the Nimbus can plays a similar role.
Thanks for the review, would you recommend this shoe for heavy runners (~220 pounds / ~100 kilogram)? I don’t want a shoe that’s too soft. And how is the toebox? Is it a little bit wider? Size up/down/true to size? Thanks a lot again! :)
Plan on reviewing the Glycerin 22?
