this is sort of unrelated but if you like that sound you should check out the harpsichord instrument. it's like a piano but sort of guitar-ish in sound and i'm pretty sure they've used it in games before

@@duhdiamondz3493 no it's a block, if you don't know, the note block changes instruments depending on what block it is sitting on top of.
The 8-bit classic game sound is from pumpkins.

Do this with a trapped chest, this is a tip for map makers ;)

in the 1.14 it sounds strange, just change the wool for esmerald blocks for an 8-bit sound and grass for the sound there is in the video

I have this hooked up to a lever that moves blocks to make a doorway. the only problem is that it goes off when the pistons push the blocks back into place, rather than when they move out of the way...if this makes any sense I'd really appreciate some help
You have to make the redstone for the blocks active by putting a Redstone torch on the side of the block leading to the door and connect redstone from the lever to the torch hope this helps

The repeaters actually sound more accurate if they are ticked as: 2-1-1-2-2-1-2
It worked! I made it as a doorbell and i Connectet to my door
remove the repeater between the last two blocks and it would be perfect. It makes a chord rather than two notes and it also remove the extra note making it more accurate.

tried this on a paper server with crossplay to bedrock . it does not sound the same, lol.
