This was endlessly entertaining! I especially loved how you took to the typewriter like a fish to water: you were just in your element. And the photos you took came out great! It's funny how we take our technology for granted, but also, at the same time, kind of lose our sense of self-reliance. It's proven that writing by hand improves memory, and unplugging from the internet decreases stress. In a way, what you did for that week probably improved your mental health.
You don't always have to outdo yourself. But it's a pleasure when you do. The photos were absolutely stunning. That very first one of your cat was just so warm and perfect. All of them somehow seemed to catch a glimmer of the essence of that time even though you only just took them not long ago. The way you captured your experience on film was really good too. Quite the dubbing. I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said anything. You just did a really really good job overall. I hope you keep the phone and the typewriter and the record player. They are all beautiful and functional. Yeah. You outdid yourself. Again.
I remember when you were just a guy making 5 minute videos about teaching his dog to do all kinds of things in your bedroom. Great progress man, we love you!!❤

What an amazing video, recently I’ve seen a resurgence of the 3:4 aspect ratio but not only did you bring it back from its origin but I would full heartedly say this is one of the best videos out there. Now days with how easy it is to pick up a camera and record or take pictures we begin to take modern day technology for granted. I've been a long term fan of yours Liam, but this has got to be one of my favourite videos you've ever made. The concept, combined with the complex and pleasing cinematography was so captivating! Also, good to see a vid from you (finally) 😂
I don’t know why but I couldn’t stop smiling watching this! I felt so nostalgic for some reason; perhaps it was the style of film that I love or even just the vibes. The cinematography was beautiful and overall this was just a masterpiece of a video. Thank you so much Liam for making me feel things I haven’t felt in a long time.

Hey Liam! I live in NYC and your perspective through the lens of that film camera honestly made me fall in love with the city again. Some of the best pictures I have seen.

Damn. I’ve been waiting for like 5 months for him to upload, and it was completely worth it. 100/10 video as usual
This video was just incredible. Something about the quality of the recording made it so unique, and those photos you took were beautiful. Thank you for making this video as i can imagine it took a lot of work to complete this. Well done for creating this art 😊
I’m studying Photography and it’s my second year here… this video is absolutely stunning. The fact that you are using all film is so esthetically beautiful ✨
I gotta say i was very impressed by the quality of the Bolex. It was very clear and the colors were very nice. This was a great vid, take however long u need to make your content, its all great.
Every now and again I remember that I'm subscribed to you. And then poof you come out with a vid like 3 days later. Missed you Liam!
Same bru
Love this! Artistic and nostalgic. It makes me want to watch classic movies and listen to records. I'm just old enough to have had a rotary phone and a record player in my childhood home. When your phone rang, it took me right back there. I need that ringtone on my mobile. Your zest for life shines through, and I really appreciate that considering all the turmoil and cynicism in the world. Thanks, Liam.
I think you’ve just created my favorite RUclips video of all time. Well done Liam.
You did a magnificent job syncing the audio! Great work!
I was amazed by how well done he did this too 🤯
I've been a long term fan of yours Liam, but this has got to be one of my favourite videos you've ever made. The concept, combined with the complex and pleasing cinematography was so captivating! Also, good to see a vid from you (finally) 😂
This video is actually a cinematic masterpiece. Every intricate shot is sooooooooooo beautiful. Kinda reminds me of a Wes Anderson movie and I love it
I don’t know why but I couldn’t stop smiling watching this! I felt so nostalgic for some reason; perhaps it was the style of film that I love or even just the vibes. The cinematography was beautiful and overall this was just a masterpiece of a video. Thank you so much Liam for making me feel things I haven’t felt in a long time.
The cinematography of this is incredible!! The film and colour of it is so beautiful
just got done actually watching the video. genuinely kinda tearing up. that was so beautiful???? it felt like i just watched one of those movies that leave you feeling nothing for like 2 days (in the best way possible)
The amount of effort and time put into his videos is insane. they are incredibly well made and of high quality and it shows. Keep going man I can't begin to imagine how long this must have taken, especially an entire WEEK.
i love this video, the videography, the photography, pacing and agendas are all amazing. this has to be one of your best videos yet
I love how Liam doesn't focus on pumping out video after video and instead just takes his time to make the best videos ever.
Probably the best RUclips video I have ever seen. Masterpiece 😃
Hey Liam! I live in NYC and your perspective through the lens of that film camera honestly made me fall in love with the city again. Some of the best pictures I have seen.
This is literally a RUclips Masterpiece 🤩 you’re back with a boom! Well done mate 💪🏻
What a masterpiece of a video... Can we have like, 10 hours of this please?!
This is one of the most beautiful video's I've ever seen. I love the nostalgic look and sound, and those fading transitions. I feel like you don't see that style anymore. Especially with new technology and filming styles. Slow transitions are my favorite. You did a great job editing this video!!!
That's some dope ass colour film for the 1950s. This is what ballin in the 50s looks like.
This might be the best video I've seen on RUclips, there's something whimsical about the grainy and bad audio mixed with the beautiful visuals, a lot of this is shot very well, I admire your dedication to the filming 💜
Honestly Liam one of the most beautiful videos I’ve ever watched you’ve really made me appreciate everything so ‘simple’ you should be so proud of yourself and this video man I can’t wait to be a filmmaker
Dude, this video is incredible!
This video is just amazing! The reason I am subscribed to Liam is his style of film making is just so unique (and of course he is hilarious), and this is just… well I have no words. This was a great break from the fast paced, technical world we live in.
holy shit this is a cinematic masterpiece. well done man
Liam, your filmmaking and editing and overall presentation has become so polished over the years, it’s amazing to see. Such a joy to watch you evolve over the years.
This is my new favourite video of yours. I love the dedication of shooting it on film, and a lot of the shots turned out really beautiful! I'd love to see more like this from you in the future, keep it up!
Wow, I absolutely love what you've done with the videography in this video! The cinematic shots are next level, especially considering how your channel has evolved. As a small RUclipsr myself just starting to dive into media and film, I really look up to creators like you who push boundaries with production quality. It gives me so much motivation to keep improving my craft and dreaming bigger. Thanks for setting such a high bar and inspiring us smaller creators. Keep doing your thing-you're an absolute legend! 🙌🎬
