Good afternoon I wanted to travel there after my graduation and cape exams this year you know a little relaxation before worrying about college ( I live in Jamaica ) I just wanted to know some of the details like the Resturants and what exactly is all inclusive
Hi Kaye! How exciting! This was a great resort! The all-inclusive was really great. There were 3 restaurants on the property in addition to the main dining, “buffet style” hall. The restaurants were by reservation only, so I do recommend making those reservations right when you checkin. You can always make changes later on. They are all included. The main dining hall does change up their menu with different theme nights and there is a huge selection. Then depending on what level of package you choose, different alcohol is included. Activities and water sports are mostly first come first serve, but you can reserve time as well. I seen on a previous comment you were there in June 2019 I was also there in June but the last week of June. The bravo club workers were very very friendly.

I will be going in July with my mother and we are taking a cruise into the island and they said we need to provide transportation from the cruise to our resort. What is the best taxi transportation do you prefer?

Hi India! Thanks for watching and great question! We were very fortunate to have Mitchell's Taxi Service. Elgin is the owner and we lucked out getting him at the airport. He was friendly and reasonably priced. Now, I'm not sure if you can pre-arrange transportation at the airport as they have a protocol they follow in assigning taxi's, but you could contact Elgin and ask. He will be happy to set up a sight-seeing tour as well later in the week for you at a much more reasonable rate than you could get through the resort. Just put together a list of what you would like to see and do and he will give you a quote. Here is his contact information: 242-533-4999, or elginjmitchell@gmail.com. He is normally easier to catch via phone. I hope you have a wonderful trip! I'd love to hear all about it once you return!
Has anyone stayed here recently I have read a lot of bad reviews I have to pick between this resort and the Taino Beach Resort by tomorrow. I like the fact that the all-inclusive I don't have to worry about food or drinks when I'm there and all the activities that they seem to have but the other resort seems to have a much nicer pool area but I don't think they do any of the activities, shows, classes or free kayaks etc. Please any advice and help is very much appreciated. I am not good at decisions like this and I have put all my money into this trip because my mom seems to think this will be her last chance to go to the Bahamas.
I cannot speak for Taino as we did not visit there. I know we had an incredible experience. A lot of the negative reviews come from cruise ship passengers stopping by on a day pass.
Hi! My boyfriend and I are going to be going in the next 18 months and we had some question: What did the all-inclusive fees look like? (if you don't mind me asking) Are the excursions pretty decently priced? Do you have to reserve a seat at the shows or can you just show up? We just want to make sure we are making the right resort purchase. Thanks so much for your help in advance! :)
Leigha McKinney how exciting!! Thanks for the questions! We booked ours through RCI timeshare exchange, so our fees were only $450 pp for the week. The shows do not require a reservation, but if you want decent seats, especially for the popular shows, you’ll want to arrive about 15 min. early. TBH the excursions were pretty expensive. We had a really good cab driver from the airport to the Airbnb our first day so we recalled him for both moving to the resort as well as back to the airport. He would have also worked out rates much cheaper than the excursions to take us the same places, but we ended up enjoying the resort so much we just stayed. I would recommend finding a good local cab and working directly with them. Thanks for watching!

Is this handicapped friendly ?
Yes it is very handicapped friendly. We just got back from there Monday. It is wheelchair accessible throughout the resort. They even have a place to wheel up to the beach and sit in beach chairs.
I am going to this location in march! I was curious about the all inclusive side of things. Are all of the restaurants included in the all inclusive or is it just the buffet? Do i have to pay extra for the pizza place and the cafe?
Hi Hannah! OMG, you will love it there! So much fun, great beach, and staff. The restaurants are included in the all-inclusive fees, but you do need to make a reservation. We made all our reservations the first day and then went back and adjusted them throughout our stay based on the ones we liked the best. The menu is the same for the whole week, but there is enough variety to go to each one more than once. Once you get back, let me know how you liked it! Have a great time and thanks for watching!

Do they have a shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off from Airport or Cruise ports?
They don't, but taxi's are readily available and the rates are pre-set by the government. We got a great driver and then got his information for when we wanted to explore the island and the trip back to the airport.

Most of the activities I've highlighted are included with your stay. Any of the non-motorized water sports are included as well as almost all of the resort activities. There are excursions, as there are at most resorts, for an additional fee that can be arranged through the concierge desk.
Hi, is this beach good for swimming? How fast does it get deep? Are there lifeguards?
It is pretty nice. There are some rocks so wearing watershoes is helpful. It stays fairly shallow pretty far out.
Is staff friendly? Is food good?
Hi Dewayne! Thanks for your question! Yes, we loved the staff! They were super friendly and went out of their way to interact with you and make your stay special. The food was very good as well. It's nice that you can combine the buffet with the restaurants. The food is a little better at the restaurants, but the buffet is good too. Enjoy your trip, whenever we can travel again!
@@TheTravelingChzhed Can you eat at the ala carte restaurants as much as you’d like or is there a limit during tour stay? We wouldn’t be staying timeshare but the normal all inclusive. Do they have a grill where you can grab a quick bite to eat instead of having to go into the buffet? Thanks.
@@nicholesampson5750 the only limit to the ala carts is how many days you will be at the resort as you can eat at one of them each night if you like. The menu does stay the same for the week, so keep that in mind. There is.a beachside cafe that has hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza and nachos, and they serve drinks in a number of places.
