      Your most welcome. I would say go on your own if you want more time at the beach because it’ll be cheaper if your there longer than what the cruise line will charge you. Glad this helped definitely help us out and click that subscribe button we have more content coming from the same cruise to Bimini island as well as our experience via cruise out of London to the fjords of Norway and Iceland. Follow us on our crazy adventures more to come so stay tuned, we’d love to have ya!!!! Thanks again!!!

    My sisters and I have vacationed at the Tiano Beach Resort and Flamingo Hotel and Marina which is across the road from the resort. Same beach, further west. I have stayed there 8 times over the last 10 yrs. There are things on the island I still have not seen. Freeport is not like other touristy places. You need to stay and enjoy yourself. ❤ the people! That is why we return year after year. Cruises give you a taste of an island to see if you would like to return. That is what we did.

      Ya I’ve had a few people say that since I e posted this video. With cruises ya it’s a double edge sword where u get just enough time to see a place but not enough time to really explore a place. I personally didn’t really care for the beach either. Aside from Bimini island which I still need to make a video of our time there I’m not a huge fan of the Bahamas except for Turks/Caicos.

      Hey there well thank you. I have the hero 11 black go pro I shoot in 4k 60FPS. The stick I use is the go pro vlogging stick because it keeps the battery charged as long as the stick is charged via usb. I still bought two additional batteries just in case. I also have a X3 360 camera also shot in 4k and I have DJI Mavic pro 2 for a drone also shot in the same 4k.
      I hope you liked the video we have more adventures coming to RUclips I haven’t had much time to keep up with all the places we’ve been doing via cruise but they will come. I have a Bimini island resorts world all inclusive excursion we did through R.C. So subscribe and follow us we would love to have you and keep growing our community. Cheers!!!

    “It’s not that nice”?? I wouldn’t go that far.
    Based on the drone shots, it looked pretty nice to me!!
    Nassau is for tourists and GB offers a more laidback experience and you get to engage with the locals.

      My sisters and I have vacationed there over the last 10 yrs. March is a great time with weather, but depending on what you want, it is spring break season. Seaweed depends on the beach. The sand at Tiano beach is sugar sand.

    I appreciate the price breakdown! Question: were y’all able to return via taxi at any time or were you bounded to set times since they made y’all ride with other parties?

    • @thetravelingirishman4372
      @thetravelingirishman4372  Год назад +1

      We just got back on at 4:30 which was the time we arranged with the taxi but I believe others did too, because we had a full van going back. The taxi cab gave us a ticket with a time on it. It’s honestly a little bit cheaper to do this beach on ur own. We had a lady tell us she did the same excursion through Royal Caribbean abd spent 45 a person with no other perks and they had less time at the beach than we did. I’m glad you got some good info out of this video. Definitely consider subscribing we cruise a lot and have other places that we have traveled. We just did a Norwegian cruise out of London and I filmed our time in the fjords of Norway and some of our tours in Iceland so stay tuned and follow us. More exciting content coming up.

  • @Rpm6971

    Nice to get Information, I don’t think a cruise ship is the way to see the Bahamas, you’d be better off with a resort package and flying there but obviously you wanted the cruise ship experience. Not knocking it but you can’t make your own schedule when your coming off a cruise ship. As for the cabs waiting for a full load, that just makes common sense for the cab operators, your not gonna run one or two people at a time off a cruise ship.

    Just so the uninformed viewer doesn't get the wrong impression: videos like this; day trips into a resort type of beach aren't the only options for Freeport/Grand Bahama. To say there's "not much to do" is the result of you're coming off a cruise ship for an afternoon with absolutely no idea what's there and just assuming that where the cabbie takes you - or the options for that - are all that there is. To give you an idea: I've spent, in three trips now, a total of about 7 weeks over the years on that island. And I'm going back, in February, for the month. My days are full, if I want them to be, while I'm there. So to suggest that there's not enough to do in Freeport that's going to take more than a single afternoon is simply wrong. It's just that the cabbies there have deals with those beaches, so that's the only options shown to you. I guarantee that if you'd gone somewhere like Paradise Cove (not that far from where the docks are) where you can snorkel with turtles (for a small fraction of the costs incurred on what you did) or maybe drive a bit further and get a meal at Banana Bay you'd have a better opinion of the place. Maybe go to Port Lucaya, check out the dolphin show at Unexso, tour the caves, lots of options! Don't form an opinion on the whole place based on what a single cabbie chooses to show you in one afternoon. Not everywhere is there for the cruise ship crowd, or charges that way.

      I hear what your saying and that’s fair. This was our Frist experience and yes limited to a cruise crunch time. Had I had more time I would of went to the other beach cove that I originally wanted to. I was giving my opinion based on if you cruise there this is what is available on a short tier time. Videos are generally are all about our experiences good or bad. I did some research as I usually do before I book a cruise. I’m all about maximizing my time while getting a taste of a place.

      I agree with yall but afraid to put into words because that can offend people. It is more of a Royal Caribbean fault than anyone else. Let's just put it this way, with the same price per person an Xcaret experience will blow this Freeport experience into pieces. But if you have a car to explore Freeport in an entire week than that entire week adds up to be the same fun as a single Xcaret day. The dude mentioned like he got time and his own car. That's his opinion and his experience, but not a cruiser experience. RC doesn't try to provide great Freeport experiences.

    • @MisterTheBigC
      @MisterTheBigC 9 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, still, there's that "not much to do" thing, which blaming the cruise line or anyone else just doesn't work for me. I don't see how your explanation excuses someone for the judgement made. Other people, not necessarily coming off a cruise ship will watch this and hear his judgement of Freeport and decide to not go there, when that decision's made off of a faulty shortsided estimation of what there is to do in Freeport.@@xungngo

      @xungngo 9 месяцев назад

      The island is beautiful and the ppl are awesome but the cruisers experience aren't great. That's your opinion, I got mine and the channel owner got theirs. We are from the perceptive of cruisers. That's what I experienced over and over. That's their experience and many others that I saw videos in other channels (and your commented on their videos too I recalled). Respect ppl opinions as long as there is no ill intended lies and hates.
