Looks sick! Scratching from the squeegee is due to the surface not being lubricated. Best to spray water or detailer onto the vinyl wrap to ensure adequate lubrication.
If I’m not mistaken that vinyl has protective film which you peel off at the end ... and that is there so you can install it and peel for a glass finish look.
Im liking this, miss out 07 so bad had to check out other builds.

I am surprised that you guys were able to pull this off on a dry surface, with or without help. I've always seen pros do it with soapy water, but never tried it myself.

You can remove the antenna by removing the rear dome lamp. you cant get to the bolt from there.

Great videos. Guys at my local wrap shop quoted me $300 for this. I’ve done my previous car before but taking a razor to the paint really makes me cringe. Did it scratch?

Oh, sorry unfortunately that’s quite away. Why don’t you just use jacks like we did to change out the grille?
I don’t have a jack so with a 2x6 I built ramps in 5 minutes.. it’s not exactly great but they perform perfectly and free is the way to go
U had to keep the vinyl wet, would make it much easier, quicker and without scratches

@@chistosos64 I've got the same car but floret silver and I was thinking about changing the front and rear lights but I don't think it worth the money. Too expensive for what it does. I just put 18 inch rotors on it, bootlip, black roof and now I'm going to change the front grille and make all the chrome black and the alloys I'll make them gun metal. And the car looks beautiful

Why, that would cause it to rub? Right now with the offset they tuck right under those fenders with max load and don’t rub
@@BurningRubberr Idk guess its just my preference.. it would have a far better stance with spacers. The rear wheels are like 1-2 inches inside the wheel well, not a great look... if you go the right size i doubt theyd rub. Beautiful car besides that👏🏻
