A lot of people complaining about the fact that it doesn't sound like a six cylinder. Well there's a reason for that, because it's not a F**king six cylinder or an eight cylinder for that matter. People it's a four cylinder it's going to sound like a four cylinder and for what it is it sounds pretty damn good.
Thank you. That was the most professional comparison I’ve heard. I’ve been asking muffler shops around here for that evaluation on my a4. Funny none really wanted to take that step.
Considering getting an allroad in the next couple of months and just getting a head start on mods. My initial reaction from this clip is that the resonated exhaust with valves open sounds like it has the most growl. am i the only one who thinks this?
Awesome video - great audio. The Valves opened/closed i guess im not sure the benefits or why this was featured - is there typically a time someone would want valves opened or closed? Thanks in advanced, if youre able to take the time to explain.
im looking to buy this or AWE Tuning's Touring exhaust. they say that the touring exhaust does not drone. will the resonated cat back with the valves closed drone? i'll be doing a review video on the exhaust i buy
yes it is, in fact it’s even better for your engine to have any full exhaust, it’s gets rid of back pressure and it gives your engine more air flow allowing you to have a better mpg, and these christa in these videos will give you a stunning 30+hp
I'm looking at the cat back resonated exhaust where you can control the valves. Does this turn on any check engine lights? Will I need to tune the car? Please let me know I really want this
Don’t buy a car with a DSG then. It’s the transmission that causes the engine to produce the noise. They all produce this noise. The louder exhaust just makes it more noticeable. Its smart though. During light/moderate acceleration the car doesn’t shift as fast/hard so it doesn’t produce the sound. But under hard acceleration it shifts as fast as possible.
ECS please help me out, I own an audi a4 b9 from end 2016 and I have been looking for a rear diffuser like this one but have never been able to find one that fits my car. Almost every diffuser is for the s-line model, not the base model that I own. Do you guys have a similar diffuser for the a4 b9 base model?
That’s universal across VW/Audi. It’s an effect of the transmission. It’s shifting so fast and cutting engine power. Everything from a base golf to a Audi RS7 will make it due to the DSG. Not really a fault of the exhaust🤷🏻♂️
Eric Semper bro I’ve been contemplating on getting an exhaust for my A5 B9 as well but I’m just not convinced by the sound of these aftermarkets. Don’t wanna regret the change
@@ghostpsgaming5871 I think thats why most people like the valve option.. i got my 2017 A4 3 days ago and already have someone lined up and tuning it for me. Only problem is I'm suffocating the engine with the extra boost. I had a G35 before this and I had it straight piped. It sounded alright, but it was a bit annoying after a while. Its why I would LOVE to go with a valved system on this car.
😐 *me an American living in Germany where average car engine is 1.6 liter. Gas is roughly $6 a gallon. Reading a comment from a German about displacement being too small.* 😂
Sounds terrible. Other than some porsche, and depending how the Nissan gtr, those sound good. But audis v6, sounds odd. Who wants to hear your car farting
That's a 4cyl. The force induction Audi V6 (Supercharged and turbo) sound a lot like the GTR VQ. Personally I'm not a fan of the sound of a V6, I prefer boxer or inline 6 exhaust sounds.
Yeah unfortunately the newer 2.0t's don't always sound that good, same can be said for the Dsg farts. Occasionally it'll sound good, but I prefer the gen1 ea888, ea113, and 20v 1.8t as far as 4 cylinder sounds go.

Really? I thought it had a V12
Thank you for protecting my babies lil 4. She's still strong

That resonated CatBack, very nice! If I get an A4 and not the Golf R, I will most likely buy this system.
i love how it farts in between shifts
DSG Farts are amazing
haha best comment lol
Splooge
sounds best with stock cat and open valve

Never mind - just saw an explanation. Thanks - great video!
This exhaust is mindblowing, does it fit on the avant version?
Will you get a CEL with either of these exhausts? I assume with the catback you wouldn't but possibly with the turboback?

Is there any drone at all?
I have a 2019 audi a4 quattro. I never changed anytging to my car, will there be any changes in performance? Is it safe for the engine?

good sound!🇯🇵
This is great! Do you have a similar suite of options for the MK7.5 GTI? I'm looking for a valved Cat-Back solution.
do you get drone at low rpms or underload from going up a hill? like the woooooo sound that vibrates the cabin?
0:10 look at the flick of da wrist, da wrist.
Is there any drone while cruising?? Also would this fit the 2019 A4 Avant (Fake exhaust bumper) if the tips are removed??
Is this only for Quattro cars? Or can it also fit the A4 B9 Ultra (2.0 FWD)?
Link for the diffuser?
@ecs tuning during the intro, is that the resonated cat back or the non resonated turbo back? Thanks 👍
Starts around the 14 seconds mark to the 17 seconds
Anyone? 🙏
Still looking 😂 anyone can help out please?
I wonder what the resonated turbo back sounds like.
frr they should’ve done that one as well seeing as it seems like it would be the perfect in between sound wise
Resonated valves open please
Can I fit the valves to my millek race non-resonated catback system?
How does this sound with the downpipe
Is only close/open? like can it be partially closed/opened?
Will this fit a b9 A5 sportback without sline package
I'm looking at the cat back resonated exhaust where you can control the valves. Does this turn on any check engine lights? Will I need to tune the car? Please let me know I really want this
Does this fit a 2021 Audi a4 s line?
I want it.... but don’t have the money so I will stick to my quiet exhaust😔😂
😔 - but that stimulus check is coming!
Part number for the wing? Is it stick on??
instillation vid for the vacuum lines?
What engine size ?
I'm confused, are these all settings you can use after the exaust is installed? Or are these all different ways to install them?
They are different ways you can order the kit. It depends what type of sound and performance you want.
Does the turbo back exhaust require a tune?
Yes
Will the cat back fit the 2020 model?
Is there a way to get rid of the shift fart noises? It sounds god awful.

I just wished their was no fartiness between shifts.

Are these all emissions compliant?
Matthew mazzella I don't think these emissions are compliant at all
Could someone provide the store link for the ECS Resonated Catback (stock downpipe) that fits on the A5 B9.5 2021 (Quattro) ?
what is Causing the Farts during shifting !?!?!? The Exaust or is there an Aftermarket Tune on the Car
dsg farts
@@ecstuning yes I know , stock I don’t get any so the question is what’s making it happen in the video the exhaust or a tune !?!?!?
Anyone have a tune file for an A4 B7? I have a kess v2
it's nice but that dsg fart makes it bad.Car pretty fire tho
japan for ever - DSG farts make the car 10x better
Jess M MINIs do that stock lol
Shawn M - Yeah and? Mercedes CLA250 Sport and the Golf R does too? That’s not my point.
Jess M my reply was to the other guy not you. Enough people like it that MINI makes the whole product line do it. No need for the sass 💁
Shawn M - Ok well sorry I thought it was aimed at me considering my name was in your comment.
I got have a4 s line 2017 how do I make it louder 😂
Still in the fence. They just don’t sound all that great. Still love my b9
Eric Semper That is a B9 and its “on” the fence.
If you have the extra money to spend and you haven’t gotten an exhaust already armytrix exhausts sound really nice

Trenten S thanks man. I’ll definitely consider it.
Need a similar setup for the B7 A4.
I better use my strong hand
Its 4 cil or 6
A4 is turbo 4cyl. S4 is supercharged 6cyl. Video is for A4
Is it 190 bhp or 252 bhp engine? Thank you
220
Oh my god
What is the car farting?
Sounds like a golf r
am I the only person who likes the unresonated?
Sounds like shit.
What you can hear: no ccm and 2 missing cylinder! Greetings from Germany
whats ccm?

sounds like it's farting when shifting
DSG farts
You can hear the driver frantically rushing to the bathroom, I don't know if he'll make it in time 💩😫
Sry, but I couldn't listen to that farting noise al the time
Everyone who thinks this sounds bad has something severely wrong with them...
If I wanted to hear fart noises during those shifts, I'd go to the toilet.
Alex Van Rooy - If I wanted to hear your opinion, I would have asked for it.
@@jessm5558 Well, you did post on a public forum soo...🤷♂️🤫
