I was going to say aware and truly amused by comedy, and comedy legends. I watch this, and it gives me goosebumps. Two comedy beasts just loughing it up like best friends hanging out any day of the week. Truly connected to humor with no room for any kind of ego.

When I watched CICGC, I spent a lot of time keeping an eye on the people in the background. I found it interesting to see how people reacted to a couple of celebs in the café or walking down the street etc.
i think jerry laughed hardest and was most genuinely entertained by farrell than any other guest
I've always felt that Jerry's laughter in cicgc was forced.

Jerry is famous for laughing hard though, apparantly on seinfeld they'd always do retakes because he'd be cracking up. I think Larry David pointed out that he's always got a big goofy smile because that was the best take they could get.

Correct, and it's the same thing our own ancestors used to do. Whenever the mammoths looked back and said to each other "yo are those humans following us? I think they've been following us for like, 400 miles..." all they see is a bunch of people looking up at the sky like "nah we're totally just checking out the scenery"

A friend of mine went to a party, and Jermain Clement went along, and I may have butchered her description, but he took a suit from a second hand store, and dipped it in glue, and then had put layers of pva glue on his face.
He sat in the corner pulling layers of what looked like skin from his face.

love this show, but I can't help but think a lot of Jerry's laughter is the fake, polite laughter. To me, he doesn't really look like he's actually laughing, just showing respect.
