bill burr makes everything seem acceptable. he brought out the most genuine side of jerry.
Jerry is the most up front dude in entertainment
But the show was not genuine...where was the car? How about "2 comedians in a coffee shot smoking cigars."
@@tannerschuman9914 It's just a clip from the episode.
@@Guitarisforgrins im pretty sure tanner was joking.
Yeah ever since Jerry was CANCLED off air he been kinda tight 🤷
I am Peruvian and I feel honored to hear my country mentioned in this convo.
Also, our country doesn't have "the funny bone". I can attest to that.
Same
Ecuador never gets mentioned 🥲
Great to hear Bill thrash my country
@@bryanfresh Not sure I agree with that. Plenty funny people in Peru, but yeah the standup scene might as well not exist there.
God this is great. You can tell they're genuinely enjoying each other's company. Kudos to Jerry for making Bill relaxed enough that he says he doesn't want the show to end.
thats Bill's way of saying "alright lets wrap this up"
@@hugopoyoyo9886 Ol' Billy Backhanded Compliments
It is called great video editing :)
@@raulpardomorales7994 They edited Jerry's and Bill's visible emotions and statements? Weird.
@@HungryTacoBoy 😅 I just think sometimes they edit the answers or reactions they give to each other idk, for example take what Jerry said at 2:40 and Bill's response, I just think those 2 interactions belong to different moments but they mixed them together at editing, na'mean?
I'd watch an hour of these two just talking and I'd still be laughing.
same. that one hour of Louie, Jerry, Ricky, and Chris Rock was fucking awesome. I loved sitting and listening to the best minds of comedy chat for an hour.
An hour of moderately funny bits would take 12 hours to film
Bill's got a podcast brother. Its like this all the time x
Bro instead of pay per view fights they should have pay per view heavy hitters podcasts
Like 4 uninterrupted hours of like queen elizabeth and mike Tyson or Kim jong un and Jake Paul or Elon and Trump
Imagine how many scenes were cut that we would of wanted lmao
I’ve never seen Bill Burr so well behaved and respectful.
I've never seen him not roast the person he's talking too, but he's also talking to the goat

“Oh yeah, is that what the shark told you?” 😂
That's some impressively inimitable chemistry between these two. What a fun ride of a conversation.
This is the most comforting I've ever seen Bill Burr
Seinfeld and Burr; such raw talents. Great to see Bill have fun and not want it to end...awesome job Jerry!
They're not "raw talents" at all though.......they're both very seasoned veterans, who have honed their skills for years & years. Their talent was "raw" around 30-35 years ago.
@@Holymakinaw If you type in "raw talent meaning" in the typical search engine, it will bring up a good definition;
Raw talent, It often does not require any formal training or education. Raw talent is commonly self-taught and draws from an innate ability deep within.
@@beammeier4997 Who cares? Point remains, their talent is not "raw" anymore.
@@Holymakinaw the point being is that their talent derives from raw intelligence as opposed to Honed and refined skills as you tried to make that point but obviously it was wrong.
@@Holymakinaw the fact that you're wrong derives from the actual definition of raw talent which apparently you don't care about because it doesn't fit with whatever narrative you believe about these comedians.
If Bill was slouched down into that chair any lower, he'd be upside down.
Jerry and bill seem to have the utmost respect for each other and it’s great to hear them talk. Seem like 2 genuine friends that aren’t always competing for laughs
Seems like it when it's edited that way, yeah.
@@nepdisc3722 how do you have the energy to try and spread negativity all day long, fascinating
@@Maaden84 I spread negativity for 5 minutes every other day at most
The mutual respect is real. Really refreshing to hear a conversation with two great comedians/people
The thing about Cuban cars is most of them only pass a 20ft test and just barely. Yeah they have all these old cars because their economy was closed off, but that's the thing - it was closed off. For nearly this entire time that meant no spare parts, no spare panels, no replacement engines, nothing. So the solution was to cobble everything together and make it work, and now the majority of the vehicles are pieced together from a dozen different cars and home body work all around.
What's really interesting is this has actually created a whole class of extremely experienced craftsmen that have mastered body work completely out of necessity. Some of the really good ones can make *very* close looking panels, lots of it involving manual tools/machinery. But not everyone can afford it unfortunately, or rather justify the cost. Why pay for a replica when you can bump it out with a roofing hammer?
I think mighty car mods did a special there and showed the ingenuity of using.. A tractor engine in an Oldsmobile for instance
What's the 20-foot test?
@@Chalk89 How good does something look from x distance
@@drumboarder1 There's been lots of good pieces of media on the subject. One of my favorite was Jeremy Clarkson's bit from 20ish years ago; he interviews locals who talk about how the government seized all their sports and luxury cars, shows how some people keep their cars running or replace body panels, and ultimately how _delusional_ some of them are - such as a man who managed to hide a 300SL (yes, an authentic and real Gullwing) that has become completely rusted and rotten from being exposed to the elements for decades... but is still asking $2M for it like it's in pristine condition.
Have you been to Cuba? I went to Havana and they use those nice classic cars as taxis for the tourists. There are also some modern cars there, though they're kinda crappy, like a off-brand budget Toyota Tercel.
I never saw Bill Burr this relaxed. I'm so used to watching him on Conan. What a great duo!
Jerry is 5 years from looking exactly like Gilbert Godfried
Mr. Gilbert?
3 more years now !
leave these two alone for 3-4 hours and you'd have comedy gold...just naturally !
that's what this is
That's gold Jerry, gold!
@@jordanschlansky4093 Haha
Kenny Bania. Nice!🍻
Bill says, "you're going to have to end this show because I'm not".....Jerry proceeds to take a puff on his cigar in silence until the video stops. Perfect ending.
They both looked genuinely comfortable and happy. The camera really was a fly on the wall for this one
"I can't get comfortable with this chair"
"It's like the ego chair. Now you're sitting above me"
😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
This is the ultimate meetup we all were waiting for without even knowing it. Bill Burr is like Jerry but the louder version. They just click.
Classic ending. Two guys not giving a crap smoking their cigars. Awesome
Finally someone who Jerry respects
True friendship is saying something profound and deep, giving them a piece of your soul, the true you. Then your good buddy just smirks and says "ya, but *obvious statement that destroys your thoughts*". And you say 'Oh ya, thank you!"
I saw English comedian Ross Noble in a small theatre in Bathurst (country NSW Australia) when he spotted someone texting. Now Noble is renowned for riffing on stage and just seeing where it leads. After pointing the texter out he went on to a story, it was funny, clever, engaging and went for a further hour only to lead to a punch line about why texting during a live show is beyond rude. Just phenomenal. I would love to see Burr take on someone in a live show in such a way.
Noble called Australia home for quite a while I believe - lost his house to a bushfire so pissed off back to England.
Ross is probably the greatest comedian to work a crowd. His ability to improv and tie everything into his show is mind blowing.
Love Bill, even when he's not making jokes I love watching him.
I love seeing a great comedian react with people, Bill is lovely to do this.
My wife and I were watching this half asleep and we couldn't but stop the video and laugh out loud at the mention of Peru 🤣 we are both Peruvians, watching from Peru!
The chemistry is real. I don't think I've ever seen Bill so chill. I Iove it.
It’s like watching Godzilla hang out with King Kong.
Just 2 comedy giants - y know

Dang that “seems fresher” bit off the cuff is gold. We come from the surface INTO the water. Wow. Seinfeld’s still got it.
gold Jerry GOLD!!
Both legends! Great to see them
together
the title made me think he was going to go on a rant about the actual series. this was good too.
Here we have two great comedians throwing it back and forth, fully enjoying each other's company. Fantastic.
This show is a testament to heartburn
I love how bill burr subtly corrects Jerry about smoking “past the band” by telling him that the leader of the country that makes the best cigars used his glasses as a roach clip. If it’s good enough for him, it’s good enough for me. Well played Bill 🫡
If it's a great cigar that's still smoking well, why would you put it down just because some people think it's...what, uncouth to smoke down to the nub? You give up on a cigar when it starts getting hot and unpleasant, not at some arbitrary point that other people think you should stop smoking at. Especially these days if you're forking out some ridiculous amount to enjoy a good cigar, you enjoy it. I actually once saw two very wealthy businessmen smoking some particularly gorgeous looking and smelling Cohiba Siglo 6s. They put them down HALFWAY through and left the lounge...what the actual F. They weren't at any point stopping and savouring them either, they were just thoughtlessly puffing and talking as if they were mere fashion accessories.
People who smoke cigars for an image and/or to show off some opinions and stuff about cigars really annoy me as a lover of the leaf. To see two siglo 6 going to absolute waste like that was really painful to watch. I mean, Cohibas can often be overrated for sure and now they are priced beyond all reason, but I have enjoyed a handful of great Siglo 6 in the past and when they're blended and rolled properly they are indeed phenomenally delicious cigars.
Amen 😊
@@AD-kv9kj Any recommendations for a low end quality smoke (under $20)?
Bill Burr is phenomenal
They're smoking the shit out of those cigars.
You could tell Bill was genuinely enjoying Jerry's company. Since Bill's high strung like myself you value those people the most.
that bit about sharks like eating at the surface because its 'fresher' is actually pretty funny.
Yea you know what, this seinfield guy oughta go into comedy, maybe some stand up or something you know. Idk might just be me

In the ‘observational comedy’ genre, Bill (and late George Carlin) like to tackle the controversial issues of our lives, Jerry, on the other hand, likes to joke about mundane stuff, such as the guy walking his dog down the street or socks having a party in the washing machine!
Burr and Seinfeld can talk all day and it will never get boring
love how bill and jerry bonded here. Super fuckin casual vibes just enjoying each others company for the short amount of time they had with one another. Memorable stuff.

So nice to see burr actually enjoying himself
I keep waiting for Nia to chime in and ruin everything
Two of possibly my top three favourite comedians. And completely opposing styles too.
This is my fav episode of this show. Love Burr
Fact that Burr complimented Seinfeld is a very high praise.
Bro Seinfeld should feel lucky to be in the presence of greatness
Seinfeld might be one of Bill's inspirations.
@Paul Nye Only because of a bs talk show he lucked onto. His stand up was/is god awful. Good actor, terrible comedian.
@@nallen1006 you really are skimping out on Seinfelds history if you think he just randomly lucked onto shit. Larry David and Seinfeld innovated what humor was back in the 90s, and like it or not today, it has shaped a lot of TV since then.
@@halloni Have you seen much of his stand up? It is unbearable. One of the most unfunny comedians to ever take the stage.
Jerry is one of the few people you can tell Bill feels nervous around.
Why would he? Jerry will never be as funny as Bill
@@iamsancho443 You got that right. Jerry was a good sitcom actor but a terrible comedian.
I wouldn't say nervous. Just respectful. They're both used to dominating the room, and here it seems to me like they're comfortable together as peers.
Bill's talked a little about this on his podcast. He opened for Jerry on a tour when Jerry had hit it big and Bill was still coming up and he was worried that Jerry would regret it given their difference in comedic style but Jerry laughed it off and told him it was all good, he enjoyed it.
As Walter mentioned, Bill just respects what Jerry has accomplished and he seemed to pay that respect here. Bill is the better pure stand-up comedian but Jerry is the bigger star.
Jerry has a much cleaner style but he's not a moralist like Bill Cosby and many forget that he's not above cruder humour like "The Masturbation Contest" which he managed to pull off under NBC. He also had Larry David writing a good chunk of the best bits of Seinfeld and if you know Larry from Curb, he goes way harder with the relaxed oversight of HBO.

Almost but no, the first has 4 ha’s and the second only has 3 ha’s.
Seinfeld’s hand is also in a different position
That was a small slice of great! Thanks.

I never understood how Seinfeld made it in standup. But he brings the best out of his guests. Bill Burr can be devastatingly funny.
Why do you need to get it? There are tons of comedians I dont find funny but why would I need to understand why others do?
What don't you understand? Watch his stand up and look at his audience's reaction. There ya go.
I love Seinfeld the series, but I also never liked his stand-up.
Jerry has managerial qualities. Never doing any work, but going around and making people comfortable with the situation.
he popularized observational comedy that’s why, his show certainly helped

2:02 So true, Bill Burr. Telling a member of staff at, say, IKEA that you're darn well never gonna shop there again! is 100% pointless. That member of staff does not give a flying fuck whether you never come back again or, frankly, whether you live or die.
thinking that 500k per year is peanuts is pretty wild, though. i'd be happy forever with half of them peanuts.
But if everyone did it all day, they wouldn't be able to keep workers.
@@drawnimo our word of the day is perspective
@@drawnimo It's peanuts if you consider the work that needs to be done to earn it. I doubt presidents get much sleep or time alone. They're constantly under the microscope and people will either point to them as the cause or the magical solution to their problems. Countless memes will be made about them, few if any flattering. You have to deal with that, with other world leaders, with the top brass of your own military who may not respect you as their new boss, and with being surrounded, for the rest of your life, by the team of expert bodyguards there to protect you from the credible threat of assassination. Sounds like hell. Even Trump seemed miserable, and he treated the position like a joke.
That joke is kinda off, tbf. The government-provided presidential salary is a drop in the bucket of what a politician can make, and that's speaking LEGALLY. On the illegal side it's a fucking joke.
Little known fun fact: After this scene, Seinfeld ran to the back of the restaurant and barfed his guts out.
god, i love this so much, such a golden moment. he just lounging, chilling around, doesn't raise his pitch even once the whole scene. turned out he just need a good company and a good cig, who knows. taping it only for 4 minutes is a crime
