I think Kramer bombed the worst..
I was a standup for 7 years and did a gig in the Bronx in a room literally under the highway overpass. A rapper with a boombox on his shoulder went before me. I was the only white guy in the place and about half way through my set, it became Midnight at the Apollo as the room erupted into an arm-waving chant, “You done! You done. You done!” The club owner, fearing for my safety, slipped me out the back door and escorted me to the barbwire fenced parking lot. He handed me a wad of cash and said, “Get out of here.” It was the most money I ever made for a set.
I had no idea John Oliver was a comedian.
Well, in Norms defense, he does look insane.
The older Norm McDonald gets the more he's looking like a Russian grandmother.
Cool of Jerry to share an embarrassing moment like that at the end.
Being heckled by someone with a polite British accent has got to be the worst
"Is this your first gig?" line from an audience member was actually pretty funny.
Here for Norm
"Give me the gun."
I've done stand-up a few times, I've ranged from really bad to okay. Seeing Jerry Seinfeld struggle like that in 2002 after he had been a comic for at least 25 years and all his success made me feel waaaaaaay better about myself.
Eddies story is great. "Oh, you a comedian huh?"
I love it when Jerry genuinely laughs. I will never get tired of hearing Eddie laugh and Norm is hilarious!
Watching Jerry "forget where he was going" made him SO HUMAN and relatable. I do that all the time.
Wow - to see Jerry Seinfeld - the quintessential American comedian - bombing in front of an audience in 2002 - not even close to the beginning of his career!! He's
oh man.... "is this your first gig?"
“This your first gig?” lol...Jerry totally should’ve just laughed at that.
It actually was a lot of fun to watch Jerry bomb, but now i want to see it before he was famous. It's funnier when the crowd isn't on their side.
Norm McDonald a star in our lifetime. RIP great man, you always kept us laughing! You will be forever missed but never forgotten 🙏
