I’ve been stuck in Las Vegas NM so many times due to bad weather over Raton… you wouldn’t think Las Vegas had many options based on the view from the highway. Thanks for highlighting the town!

Never been to New Mexico or any real lower states, something I must remedy real soon. Love places to eat that serve homestyle cooked meals. Your channel is one of a kind in that way. Love it!
When you come back to Arizona I have two new places for you (and everyone!) to try that we have found. 1) El Ranchero in Wickenburg. I had the chicken burrito with red sauce and my wife had two beef tacos. Way above par food and service in a nice little place to enjoy lunch/dinner. We really enjoyed lunch there after shopping in town. 2) Crooked Pint Ale House in Glendale. A small place in the Holiday Inn hotel across the freeway from State Farm stadium where the Arizona Cardinals play. I had the French Dip Lucy burger and my wife had the Beer Cheese Lucy burger. Holy frick, both were so good, we almost couldn't believe it. Anyway, good video, safe travels, and looking forward to more to watch along the way. Peace from Arizona. Pete
I probably should never watch your videos on an empty stomach again.. lol awesome footage and amazing shots! That old bud looks like the one from “into the wild” bikes looking beautiful, can’t wait to get another dyna..
YES! SO worth the wait! Also, holy crap those tacos looked amazing. Must have been extra satisfying after freezing in the rain riding with temps in the low 50s. Great video!
that was some ride 50 deg. and rain is a bummer ,have experienced it burrrr! the green Chile breakfast looked yummm and those tacos made me salivate .. you are very cool !! no pun intended .
Another great video that makes me want to go somewhere. And the restraint of eating that cinnamon roll with a fork was impressive I would have been all over that thing like a savage.
Next time you go I would recommend staying at the plaza hotel, it’s old and a little expensive but it is very historic(and it has a nice little restaurant with good pastries inside). This town has a lot of history! I would also try Johnnys express food truck for breakfast. Las Vegas is well known for its movies, No Country For Old Men, the original Red Dawn, Paul and the tv shows Longmire and Outer Range were all filmed here. Sadly there was a fire that’s still burning outside the town. 341k acres and the biggest fire in New Mexico history. If you drive by storrie lake you can see the fire damage on the peak of the mountains.
I've been keeping my eye on that fire! So sad to see how much of Northern NM it's burned. I've made the ride from Taos to Las Vegas many times so to know it'll never be the same because of it is definitely sad. Hopefully nature heals itself sooner rather than later, and I get back to LV soon as well! Thanks for the tips :)
Looks like a great reason for a two hour ride to Las Vegas.....from Albuquerque! Lunch at The Skillet and dessert at The Spic! Thanks for the great video and glad it all worked out for you.
I agree that riding in the rain sucks, especially when you don’t have a rain suit! Adding in cold weather really changes the dynamics of riding. Do you not normally care gear with you? I compliment you on always finding great places to eat!
Heading from Pennsylvania to ABQ to see my buddy and then going to see the VLA (very large array), Pie Town and head into AZ for about a week of riding. I've been to Las Vegas before but missed the cool places you were at...Next time....Great video!

That area in Northern New Mexico is my favorite place to ride besides the Black Hills. Easy Rider was filmed around there. When I go to Denver, I ride up through the Rio Grande Gorge west & ride through Tres Piedras. All two lane highway to Denver. Knees to the wind! Good times! Stay safe!

hahahah yep, thats the spot I was going to go to. They're a NM burger chain. At least you found food in Mora! I've ridden through there quite a few times, but i've never stopped for anything other than gas. Do you remember where you ate at?
I stopped at Rene’s 50’s Diner. I tried something I had never heard of. It was a ‘Navajo Taco’. It was good. I had left that morning from stopping at an RV park in Globe, AZ, to pitch a tent. It was a fun trip. I had taken off work for two months, to do nothing but ride. Best two months of my life.
@@rickyrummel409 @Ricky Rummel killer!!!!! ill add that spot to my list. Navajo Tacos are sooo good! Can't believe that had them that far from the res, but, it's worth a ride to try one out! If you ever go ride up towards canyon de chelly or monument valley, you'll see signs for them!
@@rickyrummel409 Did you do Salt River Canyon out of Globe?
@@ridetofood Navajo Tacos / Indian Fry Bread. I turned my passenger on to them and just about any time she'd see a sign out she'd tap me to stop / go back!
Next time go to the regal motel it’s a little nicer and might be a bit cheaper Maybe
Who knows it’s been years since I filmed this lol!
Visiting from Amada's channel
yay! welcome :)
Wow, when did you ride through when we had this rain? It has been nothing but sun and high 60's.
This was filmed in May of 2021
@@ridetofood That makes sense.
Now i want tacos and donuts
Part of a balanced diet. Lol!
I would have needed a nap after all that food.
I didn’t clean the plate at breakfast, or I would have needed to as well lol
How is that helmet to ride with ? Im been looking at it couse its light but i dont know if its noisy or any other things you might have noticed .
I own 4 race stars. It’s my absolutely favorite! I don’t think it’s very noisy at all. Very aerodynamic. I have a full review of it on the blog if you want more insight :)
@@ridetofood holy shit .... you have a bolg , dude im so checking it out .
Keep making videos , it gives me idears for things to see when im riding in the states
