Why have I been having this in my mind ever since I was in high school, telling my friends about things like this that I wanna build but didn't know how but I knew somewhere in the subconscious mind frame that II had always wanted to build my own town that people came to as I also. Reluctant it up. On this RUclips channel call black excellence. And they have certain towns that are not being used no more and are only being in use for movie motion pictures and stuff like that. However, you just showed up on my news feed. And I believe strongly God is like me. No, my time is now. My time is now too. Show up and start doing this and for whatever reason. He gave me this city 40 minutes out. I uh Houston Texas starting with the letter p. Which I found on rule and vacant lands. I have to look it back app so that I can see exactly what it is called. Because I know he was selling five Acres for $2500. So, yeah, let me know like what to expect of me. Building my own town in city. And I will by give you updates or insights of all the things God. And I have been working on for some years and literally I have the plan. Just meet the manpower.@@jonjasniak

$10/gallon! Holy crap! Put Emergency on your sign and 5 gallon minimum so folks have a better idea what's going on and maybe won't argue as much. 5 gallons is ⅓ of a tank for most folks so I see why they ask for 3. I wld at that price also.
You can get those battery powered biometric programmable deadbolts so you can program your fingerprint to every one and then change the code for the guests and you'll never be w/o your keys....
I'm glad you did an update. Google said the cafe is permanently closed and I was wondering if something had happened and you cldn't finish it. Look forward to more updates.

In addition to your sign, place approach signs before your station. Then a few flags before your place would turn a few heads. Finally as you said, add to your sign - Gas Up NOW. Next gas 50 miles & the other side Next gas 70 miles. That would definitely get their attention.

I look forward to seeing the restaurant open. I few times a year I take a bike ride out that way. Here's something that might be worth thinking about. A lot of bikers ride out that way on the weekends. Sometimes in large groups, sometimes lone wolves like me. If word gets out that you only sell gas at 5 gallons or more, bikers are not going to stop for gas and consequently, won't be tempted into visiting the restaurant or anything else. Either way, as soon as you're open, I'll stop in for a burger and a beer. Good luck!

The large groups of motorcycles I see riding in Texas usually have two or more caravan trucks/vans with trailers with them with spare tires etc.
I’m sure they could use more than 5 gallons and have some fuel cans on board.

On the water tank, bottom rusting out, 2 solutions!
One weld in a new bottom, two grind the bottom and up the outside 4" and mix some fibreglass resin, cover the bottom with glass cloth, will last for decades, plus a very low cost DIY project, especially considering the alternative!

I wish I hit the lotto and had millions to just buy a town like this and renovate the whole thing, I know it’s a tonnnn of work and money but if I was rich I would invest in it because the motel gas, and using the blue room as a air bnb you’re sure to make your money back in 10 to 20 years, I think it’s a good investment and plus I’d do it for fun as a nice project to keep consistent work for myself and keeping me busy, and once it’s done it’s a profitable place, if I was already rich I mean though would be a fun project/ projects

If you brought your gas prices down you’d make more sales and make more money in the long run. So instead of $10.00 a gallon a good profit would be made at $7.00 a gallon. Ex. 1 car a day @ $10.00 a gallon 5 gallon minimum equals $10.00 a day. 2 cars a day(more affordable gas) at $7.00 a gallon 5 gallon minimum equals $14.00 a day. I would bet good money at $7.00 a gallon you’d get more than 2 cars a day.

You’re doing great work! But you know if you were to drop the price for your gas you may be in a position where the volume you do would make more than the $10,000 a year you’re talking about because the volume a go up. In addition to that there’s people who stop for the gas and who aren’t pissed off about the price Will come into your café. They may rent a room etc. etc. etc. but if I were to pull up and it’s $10 for the gas I’m not spending another dime there. Just think you know about the marketing standpoint of your gas that way. Because I think if you were to lower your price and get a bigger tank you could fillet just in gas.

What are you trying to do? Rebuild a town, or just proliferate the problem with more Air B&B's? Affordable housing is an absolute necessity without which your little town will just dry up and wither away. But if people can actually afford to live there then they can also afford to work there. And by the looks of it, your little town could use a lot of work!

@@KB-ke3fi It wasn't so many generations ago when a father could support the whole family on just one paycheck and he never worked more than 40hrs a week without getting paid over-time. He got paid vacations! A man who did that earned the respect of his peers! He was not a lazy man!! Here we are not so far into the future, and if a person doesn't want to work... and work sometimes 2 or 3 fulltime jobs just to pay the bills! Just to put a roof over his head you call them lazy and you call them bums! They don't want to be exploited just to make someone else rich when they can't even get ahead. The old addage that if you work hard you can achieve anything is a lie!
The world is full of working SLAVES. That's all they do. They spend more time at work and en route to and from work than they ever do at home. And what's worse is that their kids are growing up to be delinquents because they are almost never at home! What I am describing is far from Utopia but when I was a child my dad supported the whole family on one pay check and we got to see him a lot more often then kids get to see their parents these days. It wasn't Utopia either but it was liveable and do-able! And people lived with dignity.

Is that not price gouging? Why don't you do emergency water for $20 a gallon?

Look up the definition of price gouging. The definition as the government views it

I know this is an old vid but for your emergency gas signage add 5 gallons maximum and minimum, No exceptions. That way there is zero wiggle room. As for your prices, you are NOT a gas station. You provide and Emergency Gas Service from your private fuel reserves.

$10 per gallon? You are in the desert in Texas pardner. You should really pick a plot with a view. Some old rancher is going to pick one for you.

Better watch out, those ceiling fans will top you when you are not looking. Brains everywhere, what a mess. Think of the towns reputation.

lower the gas to 8 per gallon and gain some respect :) still a win win can't make it off 1 client or even a few .. same with rooms and food give folks a deal and they will come.

Costs us a lot to get it out there. On top of that the alternative is to sit on the highway and wait for 5 hours and pay $250 for someone to run it out. A respectable person won’t complain about $2/gallon 😅
