    You may want to think about the rain water (the little you may get) save what come off the roof/s and into a 2nd tank to use for non-drinking use.

    Congratulations and damn you are so lucky because you're living the life I would love to be living. Ever since we drove old route 66 from New York to California in 1960 when I was a kid, yes I'm old lol, I have loved that kind of Highway lifestyle of old motels and I remember all our adventures even though I was very young. Would love to live somewhere like your town. I've lived in South Florida for the last 35 years which I don't exactly hate, I had two little breakfast and lunch diners down here at one time, but it has become way too crowded but I simply cannot afford to leave. Living vicariously through those such as yourself is about the best I can do. Best of luck to you.

    Your donkeys need to go on a diet. They a very chubby. You need a Rv camping place. Overnight for cheap price or free. So many travelers need a rest after going through El Paso. Now a days we have so many people living in vans and rv full time and traveling. Most are self contained. With solar power. Texas doesn't give enough free land for people as other states. And, those travelers spend money. They eat out at least twice a week. Need showers and laundry facilities/ you make $$. Gas and Propane refilling needs for sure. A place to sit and chat and play games or music with locals. If you are welcoming to them they will spread the word for you.
    I think you should focus on getting the RV spots up and running first. That will be your higher revenue maker per day per person.

  • @JohnnyAllstar327

    I think if you're going with that red, you should go with cyan (in a darker shade) instead of green. Pairs better imo

  • @JimTsoukas
    @JimTsoukas 11 месяцев назад +1

    Cant help thinking that customers are warning ahead about the Gas prices and people are filling up so they can avoid your pump. It just seems OTT pricing. $5 a gallon for min 5 gallons for emergency gas may be reasonable and you would get way more sales.

    • @jonjasniak
      @jonjasniak  11 месяцев назад

      I don’t believe so. Most people are smart enough to fill up before they head into the desert. For those that don’t, they can either pay me $50 or sit on the side of the road in no cell phone service for 5 hours while a truck comes out of El Paso or Carlsbad and charges them $250. This was never meant to be a filling station. And I won’t get more sales by lowering price

    • @JimTsoukas
      @JimTsoukas 11 месяцев назад

      @@jonjasniak fair enough. Agree to disagree. If it’s working then I guess I’m wrong, but can’t help thinking the bad word of mouth would affect your cafe and motel business. All the best, I like watching your updates.

    your project is cool but you might make more friends if you dont scam people who ran out of gas. or at least have the sign say emergency gas. I get the entrepreneur thing but public relations is also part of business. and businesswise if you charge a more normal amount for gas you will get more regular customers which definitely could lead to more overall profits.

    No offense, but you seem very difficult to work for. ....1. "Hows it going ladies" ? Thats not a great way to greet your workers. 2. "These posts be thick enough?"....Isnt that YOUR job, to select materials used for the job? 3. "Could have gave it more space" again.....Its YOUR job to instruct the workers on exactly what/how that YOU want the fence built, with a clear contract! If you ask 3 different people on how to do a project, your going to get 3 different answers! I wish you the best, but I forsee major problems with getting skilled labor to stick around, for any extended period of time.
