UGH. Making me homesick for Boston. Might have only lived there one year but it was a SERIOUSLY transformative year. And this history... the history!! Every place you turn. Was a photographer's dream. And not needing a car was a pretty decent perk.
Outstanding job…born and raised MassHole here, and I learned a few things. Note…Braves were always a separate franchise; they played at Nickerson Field.
I lived in Boston from 85 to 2000…. I took a friend back to visit a few years ago and we did the Fenway tour - it was incredible ! I used to ride my bike thru the public garden areas all the time - once a guy stepped in front of my bike and slapped me on the arm w a slice of pizza - I still laugh about that 30 yrs later…. Now go to the Hatch Shell and watch the Pops and fireworks…. Thanks so much for this…. Be well !
Fenway defines American Baseball Parks! It's got character, history, and excitement - even just sitting there! There are only a few true meccas in America (Graceland, The Hollywood sign, The Empire State building) - but - Fenway is definitely one of them!
I use to pilot the swan boats back in high school for a few years. Yes sir, they are powered by your legs . Usually there isn't another worker in the back. If it''s windy then they might put another back there with a long paddle. Definitely a good leg workout. Cheers is right across the street from the public gardens .We would see tourists from all over the world just to see the cheers pub and the swan boats. We would see a lot of celebrities that would come and visit .HAPPY 4TH EVERYONE
The Woo keeps finding all the places I have been, but now I see them with the eyes of Adam the Woo. He sees so much on this long, long trip he is on. Great video and great editing. Almost makes me want to go back to these places and see them with a new perspective I didn't have before. What a great travel blog for future travelers.
So cool. I used to visit family in Boston in the summers as a teen. Watched every episode of Cheers during the lockdown in 2020. Fun fact, the original Cheers set is in a museum in Washington D.C that you can even rent out for parties. The original set for Star Trek the next generation is there as well.
Took the Fenway Park tour years ago and was privileged to have a pole view seat for one game. Great city to visit and be part US and baseball history. Good to see “you boys” together at another Rays game.
Boston and the area is a place I always wanted to visit...being a history nut... I think I would go insane!!!! Thank you, once again, Adam...for taking me out of my little world and showing me a place I always wanted to visit. You are simply..... *THE BEST*
I said it before and I'll say it again every American needs to visit Boston! It's Where it all began! I really hope you can get to here someday. I think you'll love it!
Hey Adam, the building with the gold dome next to the JFK statue is the State House and in front of the State House is a statue for Robert Gould Shaw and the 54th Regiment Memorial, which the movie Glory is based on.
When the White Sox were in Tampa last the announcers were talking about the cow bell "I guess they still allow cow bells in here" and there was one lone very loud cow bells being beaten to death and the camera zoomed in and there was cowbell Max standing and doing his thing. Just thought I'd throw that in there that Max, ya made it on TV here in Chicago buddy. And Adam thanks for 10 years of taking us along with ya. I'm jealous of how you make a living man. I still wanna see you play bass or at least open the case and show us the p-bass I know is in there!
Welcome to Boston, Adam!! We live in NH and enjoy watching your vlogs everyday.....love that you are showing us our own area.....Enjoy.....and Go Sox!!
Ya, they used that for the exteriors. Back in 03, they had the studio set at the Hollywood Museum. On Monday nights in the fall, they opened it up for Monday night Football. It was weird walking on the full set and sit at the bar, and they sold beer and wine on Mondays. Of course, everyone wanted Norm's seat. George had carved his name into the bar. We usually sat where Frazier sat. It was a fun experience. Sadly it only lasted for one season for Monday Night Football. Not sure where the set is now,
What a historic day! Awesome stadium tour. They didn't have the re-enactors at the various sites when I was there, but then again it's a special weekend!
Visited most of these spots a few years back. Such wonderful history. On ourFenway tour, there were also guys on their hands and knees on the grass…..not looking for anything but weeds. They are keeping that grass perfect!
Great vlog Adam! That was born and raised in Boston, and I still live here and I’m beyond proud to call myself a Bostonian! We have more titles right now than any other team in the United States collectively in the last 20+ years! Love that dirty wadah! Boston you’re my home !
🎵”Making your way in the world today Takes everything you've got Taking a break from all your worries”🎵 Adam, this is one of my favorite vlogs of yours! Nice work! Ah gosh! I was awe struck by all the history in Boston! Cheers! Fenway park! The good food! Now I want to make a trip out there! I really didn’t want this video to end! You got to make it out to oracle park in San Francisco. You will get a kick out of mccovey cove! I think McClanahan will be the starter for the all star game in LA! Or Gilbert might be! Max Fried is probably the starter for the NL (he’s a so cal native).⚾️ Thank you for sharing, Adam! Keep up the good work!!👍🏻👍🏻🤗
I've never been to a baseball game, but this was fun. Also, there's a whole little adorable family of Robert McCloskey's Make Way For Ducklings statues at the Public Garden. Happy 4th y'all! 🎆👍
Living in Chicago, I was nicknamed by a 2nd grade classmate in the early 1960s because of my long Polish last name. He was familiar with Yaz because he was a baseball fan, so he christened me Jazz. At 66, people still call me Jazz.
This was Awesome!!!! Been waiting for this video of u at Fenway since u started doing your Rays videos! Love that u found the original ballpark! Truly love your content!! Love u covering Disney but u have truly created something unique here w this content
You are the best RUclipsr by Far, by far!!! We are so enthralled with all your content but love coming along as you go to all these historical ball parks. Thanks!
Great video Adam, loved it. Your current road-trip is epic! How lucky you are to see so many great places…Thanks for making our lives better by sharing …
As a huge Red Sox fan that I am. Adam, you sir are very respectful for what you do with your videos. Fenway is so special. Seeing your respect for the history is awesome. 🤟I was lucky enough to walk on that field as a Scout a few years ago fir Scout day at Fenway. Something I will never forget.
I took the tour in April 2017, great to see a lot of what I saw/remembered. Only about 10 people with our group. It was a week before opening day and cold. Great vid! Thanks!
I love Boston, my favourite place after San Diego. I fell down the stairs at Fenway Park, I never forget that day. I wonder if my blood mark still on the wall down to the club shop. Great place, reminds me of York, England, similar type city.
So glad you made it to Fenway Park Adam!! I’ve always felt so honored to call Fenway Park my home stadium. And I’m so psyched you are in the Boston area!! I would wig out if I bumped into you!! Enjoy your Northeast adventures!!
As someone who was born and raised in New England and therefore a Red Sox fan I also had the opportunity to work every home game for four years at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. It was wonderful to spend a lot of time in such ball parks. The sense of history is so deeply ingrained in every part of these parks. Nothing like these prefab parks with no style, history or grace to give you enjoyment from just being there!
I know I say this alot but I just love your videos. I am loving the Boston videos. I am a huge New Kids on The Block fan. They are from Boston. They have played Fenway many times. Thank you so much for sharing this and So much history. I hope you had a great Fourth of July.
Saw you on PPP and checked out your channel. We lived on the MIT campus many years ago - thanks for the walk down memory lane! The Citgo sign lives! End of vlog was wicked funny
I know you've done loads of adventures around the country Adam, but this seems to be jam packed with history and beautiful scenery, i know you'll be taking a break at some point, well earned, but also know you have itchy feet and the travels will begin again, Happy 4th of July and Thankyou again
The Red Sox were never the Braves. Different League. Adam Boston looks good on you! You look so happy and relaxed! I think you need to come up here more often. Boston is at its best in the Fall. 🍁🍂🌻 🎃
*Adam,* Just a reminder that *Plymouth Massachusetts* is not far from Boston, and well worth the effort to check out *Plimoth Plantation,* which has been changed to the new name of *Plimoth Patuxet.* _Blessings to you, Adam!_
Love this! I can't believe you are inmy area. I have done that tour before- super fun. Love the Boston content - glad you are enjoying it here. Let's see how the Rays do this week... lol 😆
Proudly from Boston ❤️
Ditto!
@@leeannb I lived in Dorchester before moving to Hanover
Ive lived all over the country, but always came home to eastern Mass.. The Boston area - and New England in general - is the best.
No more "Lobster Claw" on the Cape . . . just before the rotary in Orleans. Bummer.
That place was great!

Been living just outside of Las Vegas for many years now. But, Boston will ALWAYS be home for me. ❤️
I was a bouncer and valet at Cheers back in 1992. Lots of fun!!! Good burger in there!!!
Oh no kidding ? That’s pretty awesome
LOL sure buddy.
The 2004 Red Sox was a very Special Team! David "Big Papi" Ortiz is getting inducted July 24th.

First time I went the Cheers bar, it totally blew my mind cause inside is nothing like the tv show. Boston is a great place for history.

Awesome! 👍👍 Boston squirrels are fearless, when they get that close they expect to be fed! 🤣
Seriously..lol they are thoroughly domesticated…i bring them nuts when we go into the city.
You did this gorgeous ballpark justice! Thanks for coming on my tour, guys, and I'm glad you enjoyed Boston . ⚾

Excellent squirrel footage!!!
The Fenway Park tour is excellent too . . ..
As a Mass resident I’m loving your trip to the area. Hope you had a great time here. And the People of Boston treated you well.

Boston is a beautiful city. So much history So much to see and do
So much crime
Boston is beautiful all right especially with those disrespectful racist fans y'all got out there
So happy to see you enjoying your time in Boston!
I loved the tour of Fenway when I went. You get chills just standing in there. Also best pizza in Boston is Regina Pizzaria in the North End.
Woohoo!!! Fenway! Max, Adam and nd Jay together again! I was living in Mass when they finally one the World series in 2004. It was amazing!!

Boston is a great city and I always enjoyed the freedom trail. I would go with either Verlander, McClanahan, or Manoa for Cy Young.
Boston is one of my favorite cities! You are making me want to go back to that awesome place & plan a trip to Salem.
Love Boston. So much history there. Can't wait to go back.
