Adam, thank you so much for taking a pic with my kids after the game last night, they were so excited to see you. We were sitting behind you during the game when that foul ball at the end flew past our heads. Keep up the great work! Love all the Massachusetts videos.
I was worried about cracking or breaking ribs going for foul ball during Mets and Orioles spring training trying to get Cal Ripkins attention in the aluminum bleachers; I wish I had a pen.
One of the few places in Massachusetts that has rattlesnakes. Blue Hill Rattlers. They survive the winters deep in the granite crevices. Great job Adam covering Boston. 👉❤️💯
HEY ATW...A COUPLE YEARS AGO, I WOULD HAVE HAD DOUBTS THAT you could have made it up that mountain so effortlessly. Your new way of eating and exercising has definitely had positive effects on your health! I didn't even hear you struggling to climb or having to stop for a moment to catch your breath! "IMPRESSIVE...MOST IMPRESSIVE!" Thanks for not filming the game. It's starting to get stale.
Loved the video. Hiking, the Lookout Tower, and scenery. My kind of video. Enjoyed Cowbell Max as your company. He seems like a very nice guy. Be careful traveling on your next adventure. Be safe and Happy Trails.
Adam, for the last 28 months I’ve been working from home and in that time I found your channel and ever since I’ve had your videos on the tv in the background while I worked everyday. Next week I’m back in the office and will have to watch your videos after I get home and get the kids to bed, thanks for the company
The weather station atop the hill is the oldest one in the US. The local Indian name for those Hills is Massachusetts. Houghton's Pond is pronounced Hoe-ton's Pond. You captured an awesome view of Boston. There are often clouds that obscure the view.
Just recently subscribed to your channel, and love it. Once I saw you were in the Boston area I knew I had to subscribe. I live in the area, and attended college in Boston. I have hiked Blue Hills many times, and have gone to the top to the castle to get the scenic view of Boston, often. Next time you come to Blue Hills check out the museum at the foot of the mountain. They have otters, foxes, deer, owls, and other animals to see. I hope you enjoyed your stay, and be safe driving to your next destination. Good luck!!!
Be glad that turkey was in a field. Nothing worse than when they block traffic, and they do it all over the city. Sometimes during rush hour. Loved your content of Boston and safe travels.
AWESOME vlog Adam ! I lived in Rhode Island 30 years ago, LOVE the old Architecture in New England. So much of this nation's history started there as well. :)
I've walked that skyline trail many times. Really beautiful place. l think the observation tower was built later than the two other structures. l fairly sure this was a WPA project during the depression. lt was nice to see Massachusetts get the Woo treatment.
I've loved watching this series and seeing all of the places I drive past or frequent on an almost daily basis. I'm glad you guys had such a great time on your trip up here. You're welcome back any time - lots more places you can explore on another trip back up! :)
Great series here in my home state! We hike Blue Hills on occasion, but used to go to Houghton’s Pond all the time as a kid. There are also ski trails on the other side of Blue Hills.
I'm sad your leaving Boston, I love seeing you in my neck of the woods. But it looks like you had a good time. I'm glad you got to see a few games. Ps the blue hills is a nice walk my husband takes the kids when we need to tire them out, it's usually works. Thanks for spending a few days here, I wish you would spend some more time in New England we have some great sites
Good morning Adam. Last day in Boston oh no. Hope you are having a great time. Loved your content my friend . You have been kicking some butt on this road trip my friend. 👍👍❤️
You & Max really found a great view of the city. Enjoy your last game tonight at Fenway. Hope the Ray’s won. I will have to try some Vietnamese soup cause it really looks good. Thanks for sharing your Adventure. Stay safe & prayers with you.
First of all, I am so glad to see Max is still with you. You two have been having some great adventures. Having lived in New Hampshire until I was 15 and driving down that way to visit my Grammie in East Walpole, I often saw Blue Hill from the highway, but never hiked up it. Who knew there was a castle up there! What a great view too. I used to hike some rocky trails like that in Utah and needed a walking stick. Going down the backs of my knees hurt so bad I thought I would not make it down. Thank you for sharing another adventurous day with us! And the game, Oh my gosh what a game! Rays up!
You guys did an awesome job on the hike and you didn't come across any snakes, amazing! Next time you're in this area you've got to go to Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and Cape Cod! Plus there's a few other castles around these parts that are even bigger! I hope you had a really good time off camera as well! Godspeed!
you Adam had a great time in Massachusetts, it was fun for you and your friends that tag along lol. Now that the game is over and moving on your going to move on as well. thanks for sharing Boston to us.👍👍📸😎⚾
You were in my old neighborhood, first shot at the gas station the church across the Street was St Margaret's, Pope John Paul 2nd drove by there during his visit to Boston in 1979. Then you went to my favorite bait store on Dorchester Ave...glad you had a great time here and bringing us all along for the ride.
Great video and so glad to see you made it to Great Blue Hill. This is my stomping grounds. The Skyline Trail is definitely challenging! The full Skyline Trail runs for nine miles across the park. It is too bad the weather station was not open. The tour they give is fantastic, and the view from up there tops the old castle. There is a road to the top, but I think it is technically closed to the public. Still, if you park on that side, you can walk up the road or the adjacent ski slope. Have a safe journey home!
Can't believe neither you or Max didn't go over on them rocks, going up or down, worth it for the view, if there was a choice, car or hike i know what I'd take Thankyou Adam and Max, like Max, especially without his bell 😊
Just wanted to say Thank you for visiting the state of Massachusetts.. have an awesome trip to Florida. I hope you Enjoyed your stay, hope to see visiting again soon!
Not many people know that the Vietnamese people eat pho for breakfast and I'm surprised you've never tried Vietnamese coffee it's served iced but oh my gosh it puts Red Bull in the dirt it is the best energy drink ever! 5,280 ft at an incline that is definitely a hike! That's a great Park it's a good thing that they Mark the trail with blue spray paint! Thank you for that fun fact about the difference between spider webs and cobwebs apparently you're never too old to learn something! This is another reason why this is in my top two channels to watch! Who knew that all this was in Boston pretty cool thank you for this awesome share!
@@TinyHunt82 when our company brought in our guests from Vietnam the first thing they wanted to do was eat Pho.... They turn me on to Vietnamese coffee it was after 5:00 p.m. I had three I shocked them by drinking that because it's extra strong but I can still sleep at night because of my tolerance it is really really good coffee!
@@TinyHunt82 I wish I lived closer to the Asian market of course nobody speaks English in there so it was difficult the first time I bought a kit to make Vietnamese coffee at home what an addiction that is that's insane but so damn good!
Great Blue Hill & Castle Observation Tower was awesome 😎 I could never make it hiking there and come down in one piece. Thanks for taking us along. The views were amazing. I hope that turkey wasn’t injured. It looked lost poor thing. ❤️🌲🙏🏻🕷🕸🦃🦌🐢🦋
Oh my gosh!! You've braved rattlesnakes and broken ankles and climbed a mountain for that view? No way. But, kuddos to you guys for all the hard work and adventure!!
No better way to start the day with another DailyWoo video! Thanks for highlighting some of the areas around Boston, being a native here I never knew some of the places you went to. Great video Adam love seeing Max tag along.
Max was really close with his prediction!! The Rays just took that extra run away from Boston and added it to theirs instead! 🤣 It was a great game and way to take the series Rays! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 What an amazing view of Boston!! You made me tired just watching y’all!😂 Might the two of you be headed towards Cincinnati now??🤔
If you read this prior to departure I recommend hitting battle ship cove in fall River if you're heading south. Probably 45 minutes south of Boston en route to rhode island. It's worth a stop for a few hours if you have time. Great to see you enjoying my home state.
I live in mass been to bluehills a ton its alot of fun. There is a bunch of fun climbing all through blue hills. And the other side has a small ski area. I so glad you travel to mass. And we're able to see experience blue hills. It a great place to see something people don't normally see. I have mountain biked through all those trails. It's realy tough. You are not supposed to I got yelled at when I got back to my car.
Adam if you're able to, you should check out the North Adams area of Western Mass! There's a lot of fun history and small back towns to see out there. One of my favorite locations is the Hoosac Tunnel in Florida, MA and North Adams, MA.
I'm an avid outdoorsman, and as a kid and into my 20's, I was the same way. I felt this false sense of security, when other people were around. Nowadays I know better than to feel safe around people and really enjoy being all alone out in the backwoods or on trails.
You were on Dorchesta Ave! lol Do you ever do meetups? You got the best weather! Glad you popped in town and had fun!! Have fun at Fenway, we've yet to get there as yet this Summa!
Adam, I would be remiss if I didn't thank you for going to the Woodstock concert site a few days ago; I was truly intrigued by what you saw. Thanks so much!
