The concept of having live goats on a roof dates back 40 years to the legendary Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant in Door County, Wisconsin. The Johnson family began letting goats graze on the sodded roof of their Sister Bay, WI eatery to attract crowds, and boy has it worked well for them. Four decades later, the restaurant is still going strong, and the goats (and the Swedish pancakes) are as popular as ever.

I always love your videos, but double the fun with The Carpetbagger!! I LOVE the Dukes of Hazzard even Coy & Vance. :-) I too enjoy the Jurassic park ride. There are quite a few new dinos. A lot of them used to spit...but now, no more-so you don't get wet. I am so glad you remembered how it used to lift and then fall at the end. :-)
The cool thing about the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area is that it’s always in transition. There’s always something new to see on each trip and of course the beautiful smokies make this area a great destination.
That ski lift up the side of the mountain looks so peaceful. I can’t wait to visit Gatlinburg someday. So cool that you actually saw a bear from the lift. Every time I get around an area that has bears I hope to see one but never have. I don’t want to get super close to a bear but I would love to see one from a distance out in the wild.
I remember Hillbilly Village. I can't believe Christus Gardens is gone. I never cared to go to it, but at the same time, it was like a relic cause it was there forever!

On the last video, I told my wife...I'll bet his will be stopping in Pigeon Forge or Gattlingburg on the next day ! I remember so well the old Hillbilly Village. Before the Worlds Fair came to Knoxville, Pigeon Forge was no where near developed. That Bennets BBQ and the Hillbilly Village was a couple of the main attractions and Silver Dollar City was purchased by Dolly Parton. WOW I could not believe the Gatlingburg chairlift is now $30 :( I have not been up on the skybridge, I thought that was a completely separate attraction. The last time I went up on the chairlift nothing was up there but an ice cream parlor :)
The wife and I were in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge August 2021 and Skylift Park was $16... Still we'll be back in September, we'll spend the entire day in Gatlinburg and use Skylift Park as our base. Beautiful views. Here's a fun hack, the vending machines in the Mountain Mall have ice cold drinks. They are so cold they'll give you an icecream headache.

Goats on the Roof mountain coaster is a blast!!! Spoke with them when I rode it and he said wide open it can reach upwards of 40 mph. Nothing beats the mountains!!! Love when you collaborate with others....especially Jacob! Stay safe out there!!

I remember going to the Mountain Mall years ago, right when Linkin Parks Minutes to Midnight album was released. I wanted to get the album for my now ex girlfriend and the music store inside the mall was nice enough to sell me the album the day before the official release. Man that brings back some memories.

I am 65 yrs old and I remember in the 1970's the commercial that said "Smoky The Bear says 'Only YOU can prevent forest fires'". I am 100 percent sure of that wording in the old commercials guys!!!
