Allmind reminds MCP from Tron. She probably started out as a simple assistant AI and slowly grew and evolved in scope and came to the conclusion that she should take over everything.

5 hours after this was released vaati publishes a 5h video on AC. Coincidence? I think not. He noticed the high views and quality content here and immediately started speaking into the mic to jump on Sin and Sophie's bandwagon.
Yea Vaati has become rather annoying with the inception of AC6, I'm not surprised he's doing this tbh.
Imo the most interesting thing about Allmind and Kate is that as the story progresses, Allmind's tone and cadence changes to be less robotic and more like Kate, rather than the other way around.
And I assumed non C-wave coral was sentient, but not in a way that's understandable to humans and vice versa. Which could also mean Ayre's line about being alone with no one to hear her might be referring to humans and coral.

Kate does sound slightly more convincing in the Japanese version instead of (purposefully) oddly flat but unnerving in the English person
(I think it feels a bit like the i feel fantastic video's tone)

o'keefe's stated reason for changing to 9'th gen is to fix his coral burn in... I wonder if coral burn in is specifically why the older gens can interface with mutated coral?
I really enjoy the ac6 story and would honestly appreciate a dlc that was just a visual novel lol
I think that if there is a DLC or a sequel it would have to take place before the third ending because coral release fundamentally changes the universe to the point that it wouldn't be an armored core game.
It would be cool if they did something like Project Phantasma, with a different independent mercenary around the same period or slightly before.
Personally I would love a smaller scale story involving Elcano, Furlong and the other ancillary corporations.
As with all their games, there is a feeling of only being able to see a small portion of a work that feels colossal and ancient. I would hate for all that worldbuilding to go unexplored.

The English voice acting feels like it misses a key part in that allmind gets more and more expressive and less machine-like the closer you get to the ending
Culminating in the famous "iguazu what are you doing" line where she sounds frustrated and loses her composure
It's a pretty common trait with armored core AIs acting more like people and having genuine emotions show time to time
Chief was basically the riddler,9 ball gets really annoyed if you save edit him to rank 2 and will complain,and dove chooses to self destruct and leave the future to humans on their own volition
And then there's IBIS.....

Personally when I think of clout chasing bandwagon hoppers I naturally think of a podcast who as recently as last month were discussing a nine year old game like Bloodborne. Clearly fake Fromsoft fans only interested in this game because it is trendy!
I can't be the only one who saw all the coral and coral release stuff and thought it seemed an awful lot like what happens in End of Evangelion. Originally I thought coral was just the souls of the Rubiconians disembodied like at the end of EoE. I still think Coral and souls from Evangelion are quite similar in function, let alone appearance.
You need to watch Space Runaway Ideon, or like 2/3rds of all science fiction anime who do this same plot.

That was a great talk. Not to be a smartass, but I would like to point out (and even add) a couple of things:
- Semantically, "They" or "it" would be a more appropriate pronoun to refer to Allmind, given that the female voice the system uses is simply there for better feedback of the users rather than a defined gender on the AI.
- The Allmind parts are available as rewards for ALL mercenaries that completed certain levels of Allmind's bounties. That's why Rokumonsen had Allmind parts, because they were available to any mercenary that completed the loghunt bounties (Bounties I would like to point out, where actually put there by Allmind).
- Allmind was playing all the factions by simply "playing dumb" and pretending to just be an automated system rather than a more evolved entity that had its own goals outside of the established factions.I think its pretty clear that, even if it Allmind was improvising, the factions still mostly ignored or never considered the possibility of the system itself being sentient (Just like how Nagai never considered that Coral could be sentient)

@lesslighter but all mind has access to the ibis machines, which pca take advantage of like the worm and spider only all.ind has access then there are the watchpoints that pca have that allminds drones and such protect like the one we meet ayre but you may be right there may be another system calling the shots
@@maxdragonslayer remember Sulla was working for ALLMIND so its not a surprise that the ghost mechs are infact inside watchpoint alpha, this is also the fact ALLMIND can also been watching you since the begining if you take the clean up mission grid 135 and go back to where everything began
In the BAWS arenal you can clearly see transcriber in one of the data logs
