NG++ elevated Iguazu to my favorite character in the game I think it’s cool how after spending the whole game hiding behind his shield and assassins and goons, once he resonates he starts going absolutely wild with full melee attacks
and also when he finally ditches the shield and cuts loose, he becomes a genuine threat, like he was holding himself back and when he finally let go he was genuinely something special. unfortunately it was a bit too late by then
A notable thing about stag beetles(and to an extent most beetles) is that their heads fall off shortly after death due to the connective tissue weakening Iguazu's emblem might also just mean that the ants found the beetle's head by "luck"
Michigan was trying Tough Love with Iguazu due to how hard headed the man is. Michigan saw some worth in him and kept him around that long... and refused to allow others to trash talk him, much like he refuses to allow anyone to shit talk R13 the PC. I mean he even talks about joining to find something other then Merc life, like he was offering a home to 621.
Iguazu kind of reminds me Starscream from transformers. He’s a petty idiot who’s always trying to get ahead in life but lacks the strength and conviction to fully commitment to his actions.
@@nlm7033it depends on the version, sometimes he's a complete coward who crawls back to Megatron the moment things go wrong, sometimes he's completely loyal and devoted to Megatron, sometimes he actually commits to betraying Megatron, though he usually dies immediately after. And sometimes it's all of the above.
It may have been mentioned later in the video, but cut dialogue from Allmind explicitly states that human brainwaves behave similar to coral when agitated/stressed. You resonate and make contact with Ayre because you're panicking at the Watchpoint when the Coral gets released, and Iguazu gets closer to making contact with Ayre as he gets more and more frustrated as he fights Raven (the ringing in his head is quiet at the start of his fights and amps up when he starts losing).
Gen 4 and below are still using coral as augmentation, that's why we met sula in the watchpoint because he's one of the candidates for the coral release project.
Iguazu showed something I think very important in the Lore of Armored Core 6, and its what Allmind was researching. That Humanity itself, its power of emotions and thoughts, is equal to the power of Coral, and when both are combined, a stronger, more complete power emerges. Esentially, this is what 621 gets when he makes Contact. And its what Iquazu finally get when he final breaks thru Allmind. He essentially achieves the Harmony of Human and Coral that Allmind theorized. Unfortunately it was too late. Iguazu is our almost shadow self.
Sophie's Michigan impression is SENDING ME, oh my god, thank you for that. On the note of Iguazu's arc sounding like a protagonist's arc... Genichiro, anybody? I think that applies to him as well and I absolutely love it in both cases, i think it's great storytelling.
An insignificant character getting frustrated with being insignificant over multiple playthrough and then breaking out and becoming significant is some peak Undertale shenanigans.
Iguazu being a Computer Virus is a Perfect analogy and has me thiniking about Agent Smith from the Matrix. He started to become too human for the machines and expressed itself in new ways, FUELEDby its despair and rage and losing to Neo. Those losses transformed him into something that could no longer be contained by the Machines and was a threat to the stability it had created. It was a wild card, an x factor. THAT ius what Iguazu is, and his x factor is his humanity, his emotion, that gets drawn out more and more with each loss. Combined with his extreme connection to Coral, hearing whispers. He would be the one to be the trigger, or rather the acid to our base.
The voices and headache igauzu gets are because of your connection to Ayre. What he's hearing is the interference that you and Ayres connection is causing. Essentially his augmentation is trying to connect to Ayre but she's connected to you, so all he gets Is a headache. Remember that only gen 4 and early augmented humans can connect the bridge between human and coral, and by that point gen 4 augmentation are 50-60 years old at least. Igauzu has the potential to be what you are, but his theme is that of personal failure and refusal to grow. He was a gambler who lost more than everything, his own bodies autonomy. And when he became a redgun with Volta, michigan put them through he'll, because he, "wanted to make something out of fhem." Volta also was a scumbag but learned humility and became better, and started taking business class. But, iguazu never changed, constantly for years getting dressed down by michigan. Iguazu is scum, he goes AWOL and let's his 'brother' get killed, he takes freelance work on the side, and never grows past the gambler he was. The only time you see him change is in his death were he realized he was wrong, and admits he just wanted to be special.
Great discussion on why he is how he is. Spoiler: Just wanted to mention that ALLMIND has come into contact with Iguazu as early as NG. You can see that his AC is using MIND ALPHA arms and the Laser Orbit in Underground Exploration - Depth 2. These changes are also present in Reach the Coral Convergence ALT.
I think underground exploration 2 is where he sends the other merc after you so that probably isn’t his AC but if its changed by reach the coral convergence then your point still stands anyways
@@maxmad7641 You're thinking of Underground Exploration - Depth 2 Alt where Coldcall shows up in Iguazu's place. Coldcall doesn't have any ALLMIND parts on his AC. It's a Balam head and body, RAD arms and legs with Furlong missiles, Arquebus medium laser rifle, and Schneider laser shotgun. I'm talking about the original Underground Exploration - Depth 2 where you fight Iguazu.
I am here for Sin using her expertise in psychology to contribute to lore videos. Also, I might be wrong, but it feels like Sin knows more about the lore this time, and takes it more seriously, and I like that too. I'm still waiting for Sophie to interview Yorshka. Who has a Russian access, obviously.
A little interesting tidbit: It was actually revealed through cut dialogue that the other MIND ALPHA units that back up Iguazu in the fight are actually powered by a “singular psyche” with extreme force of will. I’m sure you can guess who that is lmfao
@@zacheryeckard3051 It should be kind of obvious due to the fact that there are only two hostile “personalities” in that final fight. ALLMIND and Iguazu.
Iguazu so easily could have been us. Unfortunately you have to make a fun game around your themes and we end up being the protagonist but so many other pilots are treading water, caught in a cycle of debt for their contractors, even if you start doing well for yourself you end up a target for “re education” which I’m sure is as pleasant as it sounds.
To be fair, I kinda doubt that Balam and the Redguns actually do re-education. It sounds like that's more of an Aquebus thing. The Balam still abuses the Redguns, and they're almost certainly kept in debt intentionally to make sure they maintain pilots, but I don't think they use "re-education" in the same way.
@@onyxtay7246 yea, red guns are doing a soft power thing, we’re totally comrades in arms even tho we have a spreadsheet of everyone’s performance, but really it’s cuz we’re a family, so much that Michigan might actually believe it the way upper management thinks buying pizza for the office when 2/3rds collects welfare (don’t look up how many Walmart employees collect social benefits, I’m not even anti welfare I think it should be expanded but why doesn’t Walmart just pay them a living wage lol) Arquebus and specifically the vespers are the ones doing re education. Arquebus might honestly not even know because why would they care? It’s a weird strike force that gets results they don’t want to limit their own team’s success however it’s happening. The way operations happen after missions tho, pilots are recovered from the field if theyre unable to make it back to their base of operations. It’s totally feasible imo that Vespers keep tabs on other mercs and I fully believe they aren’t above kidnapping and “recruiting” pilots if they’re openly discussing brainwashing. That said the way snail conducts himself, i think the vespers would just as easily leave their own let alone recover an enemy combatant that had fallen even if the vespers thought they had some talent.
Can’t believe I didn’t realize the Sea Spiders would shut down if you got Iguazu to half. I took the spiders out first every time. Finding a build where I wouldn’t run out of ammo was a challenge for me.
Honestly I kept getting stuck after iguazu shut everyone down the sea spiders were barely a hinderance, so that part about iguazu letting me win doesn't even slightly apply to me. It felt more like a powerful moment for the guy, even he was able to shut out allmind with sheer force of will. As for michigan theres some suggestion that he may have legitimately wanted to see iguazu and volta be better people and grow however he is also a piece of shit and doesn't recognize that he is the kind of person who would do the opposite of help.
There definitely should be a Michigan episode because he is a rather interesting character on the surface he seems like some over-exaggerated drill sergeant like character that doesn't give a shit about anyone But in actuality he is what I would call the pure definition of tough love he cares about everyone under his command it's just his way of helping people is to push them to be stronger Mercenaries and has this might is Right mentality which considering the world of AC6 or just AC in general he's not wrong regardless of how one would feel about his methods of helping people and I mean other than Iguazu and that one guy who is arguably more forgivable than iguazu Michigan's brutal yet honest approach does work
Good video! So the moral of Iguazu is... Sometimes it takes being so bad at something that you CAN'T fall in line to break something which can't imagine someone not agreeing with it? Kinda getting a Harlock vibe from this idea.
Its so easy to disregard Iguazu but by doing so you are actually validating why he has every reason to hate you. Iguazu is an example how small gains and big losses will break a person down.
God I love the story of AC6 so much. The concept, characters, plot points and basically everything within it remind me of old sci fi novels. Great video, looking forward to more content on this game :) (assuming yall plan on making more videos)
Just wanted to say something that I think you guys missed about Michigan and Iguazus relationship is that part of walter's pitch to get C4-621 to go along the dam mission is that gen 4s need a bit of a social interaction because as a result of gen 4 and along coral augmentation in general is that it makes you lose a part of your humanity. At first read it seems that walter is talking about you but It can also double as Michigan agreeing to send iguazu and you together was the idea that you two could bond. Also Allmind never really had her eye on you as the primary factor originally it was supposed to be Sulia but you neck him and it leaves you take his place. Allmind in general just needs a coral augmented human and even then Allmind is pitting you and iguazu against each other to see who comes out on top. Allmind was the one who told him that you where going to fight snail. In this encounter his ac changes slightly as he now has allmind arms. In the underground exploration he also has the same arms which makes me think about the MIA mission and him saying your his ticket out of there. In addition I also wanted to point out that all of the redguns with the exception of nile who is the"brains" are seemingly prisoners or military grunts. Wu ran a narcotics ring and got busted. Michigan ran a furlong fleet during the Jupitur War and lost to Balam presumably being captured. Iguazu got in real big debt and was forced to undergo gen 4 surgery presumably becoming living livestock and like the same as 621 in the story trailer until being bought by the redguns. In Voltas description it calls him and iguazu partners and crime you can take this literally but I don't think it matters its the part about getting the hell out of the redguns which implies they arent there by choice.
Iguazu during my 1st playthrough was like Meh aight 1 less merc i have to deal with 2nd playtrough i was like BRO...The. fucking. SALT. Cuz of his hiring of Coldcall but after my 3rd playthrough i started shocked cuz he was the actual final boss and i did not see that coming, after beating him i was like Damn... look how far he came just to kill me.. Sick way to story telling
Omg I need these videos. I'm loving these lore videos. It's interesting that so many members of the Red Guns are named for rivers since Michigan is clearly a reference to the lake.
Volta and Iguazu were originally friends/partners in crime. The two of them fought against Michigan and after that Volta relented and decided to learn business tactics via Wu Wuahai (G3). So we see that Iguazu wont accept the fact he lost while Volta accepted the redguns ideologies and just does what he needs to do. Thats what i believe anyways, Plus we see in Michigan's profile that he put a bounty on himself so Iguazu and Volta likely wanted said bounty. Ive also heard some people say that Iguazu's emblem has ants carrying the head of Volta (whos emblem look like said rhino beetle)
7 months late to coming across your comment but I’m surprised no one else mentioned it: you’re actually dead on right about Volta, there’s a combat log that you can find (I think during operation wall climber?) that contains a message from Volta to Iguazu basically saying the same thing. He acknowledges that Michigan is a hard-ass and basically straight up tells Iguazu working for the Redguns is as good as it’s gonna get for the two of them and that they may as well play ball and get the easy paydays
Hooray! This upload made my weekend a lot better! I don't know if Allmind would make a mistake like that, it has all the combat data and stuff. I think it chose Iguazu because he would be best fitted for the integration purpose. Also, I think Iguazu is weaker then most of the NPCs presented in game, but he's been fighting for 7 years, he probably a lot better then average.
Going by the idea that he's not good at being a mercenary, I don't think that's true. More that it's not what he actually WANTS to do with his life. He's the epitome of every mid-level functionary that hates being part of a corporate structure, but can't believe enough in his own ability to be self-sufficient. And instead, he finds excuses and stews in his own frustration with his own life. Really great video; I love seeing character analysis of a guy who, to be fair, is a whiny loser, but done from a place of wanting to understand why he's like that.
Holy wow....Y'all are the way I realized that Iguazu effectively spilled the beans on the Balam wallclimb attempt. Which makes sense that plans probably got leaked/gave the RLF time to prepare as they were listening into or at least had some kind of access to your comms in order to ask about betraying them in the NG+ version... The greatest irony being for all his bragging about climbing the wall, he doesn't even go on the mission! Absolute hater energy... Bit of lore about his joining the redguns and his hatred of Michigan - it's implied he and volta attacked Michigan to get the bounty on his head. Michigan put a massive bounty on his own head with a stipulation that half has to go back to pay out some funds to old comrades and people he worked with after that group fell apart. But Michigan is also famous for reforming criminals and making them into friends and allies. Only G6 Red isn't a former criminal/bounty hunter - everyone else got their ass kicked by Michigan, but he spares them, gives them a job, and helps them reform. So Volta recognizes this and tries to help Iguazu understand he can get up and out of debt, and finally get some respect and a name by getting a bit in line. The Balam test pilot and G6 Red both go on about how much they wanted to be a part of the Redguns, so for Iguazu to get G5 is actually a very respectable, and highly coveted title and reputation to just be....given. It implies he has some capability to be "Good" at what he does. Very good deep dive into Iguazu! Had a lot of fun listening!
Walter's dialogue, in his fight, implies that 621 didn't choose to be a mercenary either. He says something about making enough money to undo the augmentation surgery, then combine that with how 621 doesn't even get a _name_ and I think the game is saying they didn't want this either. And Walter isn't a good master - he's sent a lot of pilots to their deaths and he literally calls 621 a dog. But 621 is still way better at this than Iguazu, and Walter _does_ affirm that - he stands up for how _his_ _hound_ gets the job done. I think that, when it comes to narcissism, it's important to remember that it's often associated with low self-esteem. Someone with NPD may react aggressively/passive-aggressively to criticism because they perceive it as a threat to their self-image. Insecurity & grandiosity at the same time. I think a few of the diagnostic criteria could actually apply to Iguazu. Grandiose sense of self-imporance, particularly in how he brags about being on the Redguns and thinks he's better than 621. The DSM literally says "exaggerates achievements, expects to be recognized as superior without actually completing the achievements," which is something that definitely applies. Despite his constant failures, he still thinks he's more important than everyone else - going so far as placing his desire for vengeance over ALLMIND's needs. (Which contains every single other pilot who died to 621 as well). I think he could be seen as exploitative, taking advantage of other people. That and a lack of empathy could be seen in the way he abandons Volta (to his death) & the Redguns once it's clear they won't be his ticket to a better life. Which leads into another, because he's constantly preoccupied with fantasies of success. He keeps betting big, and it doesn't matter if he loses. He just doubles down to spend his way out a hole, because he believes that he deserves better and eventually he'll get what's coming. Envy and the belief that others envy _him_ is also apparent. He was envious of 621 almost as soon as they met, and it only got worse as he saw them succeed where he failed (hitting again on his insecurities & fear of vulnerability). Finally, arrogant, haughty behaviors & attitudes. He's constantly bragging and refuses to accept when he loses - saying it's just luck. As y'all already pointed out, he's so self-absorbed that he cannot be absorbed by a gestalt entity which consumed basically every other dead merc. I don't know if NPD is an accurate diagnosis for Iguazu, and I recognize it's something we _can't_ really know because we don't know enough about him. However, I do think it's important to highlight how narcissism does not mean what people generally think it means, and it could still apply to someone like Iguazu who has obvious problems with self-esteem. Presenting as better than everyone else can be a defense mechanism for someone who has low self-esteem.
Also, I dont think the doctor was incompetant. He was aware the surgery caused the ringing in his ears, but ringing was whispers of Coral. In a way, those whispers show the surgery was even more successful than most others, nevermind the fact he survived. The point of augmentation was to add coral to the brain to enhance human perception. He actually was super close to contact with no awareness of it. He in a way was hurt by his power while being completely unaware and overwhelmed by it. Lastly, I wanna say this wold isnt sweet. It seem like most people lives are absolutely disposible, with billions dying, by OUR coices, in almost every ending. To me, morality is out the window in this hyper capitalist world. Humanity is super lacking in the entire culture and society. I mean, just think about how much metal has been mined to create those superstructures. Look at how big the cities are. How many TRILLIONS of people have already lived and died. Iguazu is the Realest Person in this culture of being nothing, and is one of the FEW people in this game that hasnt sacrificed their "selfishness" or desire for self actualization.
Lmao the iguasu falls cuz he is always crying. But he was my favorite character because of how difficult his fight were for me first couple encounters and him being the final boss in one ending imakes me like him more because he almost became dat nigga but didn't have it in him.. so satisfying because 621 is worth 20 iguasu's, do a Michigan video next please his last dialog is epic, let's go die! Everyone s like ok let's go! He was the Micheal Jordan of balam.. making people quit, using negative reinforcement and he talked that shit and walked that shit
This was surprisingly good. Not that your usual content isn't good, this was just *surprisingly* good! Also TIL the Redguns were named after rivers (or bodies of water lol) so thanks for that as well. ^^b
I'm pretty sure Iguazu had to subject himself to experimental 4th gen surgery by a trained professional, he was paid to get the cybernetic surgery because the odds of him having a good outcome were not good. He has a tendency to insult people for perceived slights... so even a good doctor would be a quack in his eyes.
I was always so happy when Iguazu showed up because I actively enjoyed bullying someone so easy to kill and so salty about it. Discovering he was the final boss was wild, he was actually a challenge (because he has so much help) but I'm still a bitch to him
Love iguazu telling the player to buy a lottery ticket as it references his gambling addiction and debt, but my favorite character has to be O' Keeffe he's not too important, but his dialog when confronted by the player during the ng++ ending is very humanizing even though the very thing you're fighting for is to evolve humanity
@@SinclairLore oh no I hope Sophie is gonna be okay? That beautiful voice! I fall alseep listening to you guys.. just about every nite! Well you guys and mr aesir! Hope your trip is awsome.. but Iam selfish I need more noww!
this was amazing! please talk about carla next! if youve never watched ping pong the animation, you should right now. one of the characters is like iguazu and it dives into why hes like that.
We definitely will. I feel like unfamiliarity with AC is not necessarily a problem, though, since AC6 is extremely different to the others (wouldn't surprise me if it started off as a stand-alone game and became AC6 later).
Great video! A few things I really disagree on, though. I really don't see how you can picture Iguazu having any agency in his augmentation, especially with the "forced" line. Being in the Redguns isn't a job for him - like us, he's a slave to his owner, which is part of the parallels between us (Walter is nice about it and I love his character, but that's what we are to him at least in the beginning). His envy towards us isn't just about us being better, it's about us being a Freelancer who can take their own jobs (from his perspective, the reality isn't so nice for us). When he brags about being in the Redguns, it seems like he's doing it more so because that's all he has at this point in his life. He desperately wants to be in your position but can't, and tries to make you feel the jealousy he's feeling by presenting being in the Redguns as a great thing, even though he obviously hates it. At the same time, going out on missions is the only "freedom" he really gets, and it's the only time he gets to feel powerful and in control. I think it's control over his life that is what Iguazu wants the most - being a skilled AC pilot is just one way of achieving that goal, and the only one in his sights. In his final moments, he doesn't just say that he envied you, he calls you "the Freelancer who had it all." Iguazu is surrounded by pilots who have gained power and agency through their prowess, and wants that for himself. When he kicks out ALLMIND, I don't think it's just because he's salty or whatever, it's because ALLMIND has become just another thing that stops him from living his life as he wants to. When he shakes off their control, you hear his voice clearer than you ever had in all of the previous ng cycles, and he seems surprised that, finally, after seven years of feeling like shit constantly from Michigan and his faulty augmentation, he feels good. He's finally free to be himself and live his life, even if it does come after he dies. I also heavily disagree that Iguazu is what lets us win. 621 and Ayre absolutely could've taken ALLMIND down, and I think it might've even been easier than beating Iguazu. When he rejects them and pushes them out of their own body, the mech he's using becomes significantly more powerful because of his force of will. It's his own strength that makes those claws even more massive, what lets him shred straight through you if given half a chance. That's not ALLMIND's power, that's his! The entire game, Iguazu had been held back by both himself and the pressure from his environment. Instead of capitalizing on his aggression, Headbringer initially has a very defensive kit, letting him hide behind his shield and take potshots from afar, just like how he snipes at everyone while maintaining this barrier between everyone and his real feelings (which only serves to make them more obvious to everyone else, but that's not his intention). When he goes to kill you in the depths, he's thrown away his shield in favor of a laser orbit, committing to offense instead of defense. (Another note here is that the orbit and his arms are also ALLMIND parts, so it's likely that he deserted the Redguns to kill you on ALLMIND's request) Whether or not anyone should be a merc (they shouldn't), Iguazu is beyond capable, he's just never able to relax. He's never able to feel good, he's never able to focus, he's never allowed to exist without some sort of pain, not until those final moments. If it's not his augmentation, it's Michigan, it's snail, it's everything around him that reminds him that he's got nothing of his own at all. I think that ending is when we see his true potential, and the extraordinary willpower he possesses. Even with everything going against him, he's still rank 19 in the Arena. He doesn't have the best ac, he doesn't have the best augmentation, he probably can't even think straight most of the time, and he's still doing better than a third of the pilots ranked on Rubicon. He's certainly not an Ace like Frued or King, but he still outranks multiple Redguns and Vespers, including those with better equipment and augmentation than him. There's some cut dialogue about human brain waves functioning like coral when they're in an agitated state, and while I definitely wouldn't say the specifics of that are canon, it is very clear that Iguazu's rage at the world resonates with the coral in some way. I think this likely relates to the log "testing new components," which mentions that piloted ACs brought the age of unmanned craft to an end, and that there's some unknown essential difference that makes manned craft superior. I think Iguazu is demonstrating that principle, even if the details are a bit fuzzy. All in all, I want to reiterate that I liked the video a lot! I'm glad other people are enjoying Iguazu's character as much as I do, even if I do disagree with most people's interpretations.
I believe that in that final fight iguazu mentions how you killed him multiple times, implying that a couple of those fights were against an allmind created copy of him with his conscience uploaded to it. We know allmind can do this, as she create perfect copies of all the vespers to go after walter & carla in this timeline. Honestly, If I were killed with ease by the same person several times I'd probably need an extra helping of therapy too.
Because we killed Allmind's preferred candidate, Sulla. O'Keefe was probably another candidate as well, but he had a change of heart and we ended up assassinating him. Allmind didn't have any other choices.
more or less just parroting the igauzu is weak meme, meanwhile the guys easily dodge spamming and depleting every players heals because they underestimate them, me included. Fact of the matter is Igauzu is basically the real main character, has a rise fall, and redemption arc. We really should drop the forced Igauzu hate and just aim it at someone who straight up wants the disrespectSnail.
I feel like Iguazu is a fool for the Players like he gets to fight the same impossible challenge over and over getting more miffed each attempt until we’ll they go postal They’re also a near replica of 621 Being out of luck gen4 with no real chance beyond this work the difference is how well we adapted which he never truly could always looking for an out whilst 621 Raven Thrived
I don't think he doesn't like driving his armored core, he's not just good at it, he's obviously extremely good at it and is also never seen saying anything along the lines of "I hate driving my AC", he says "I want to get out of the Redguns". I theroize he was a mercenary AC pilot unaugmented, and his big issue is/was being drafted into the redguns. Notice when he himself is a freelancer, G5 Incel never complains about his work and instead lets his jealousy over G13 Raven consume him even though he got what he wanted: defecting from the Redguns.
Iguazu deserves nothing but contempt. The proof of a person is not when they get everything they need, it's when injustice happens to them. If a person is not showing their best qualities at their worst time then they do not deserve to ever be at their best.
Hate to get serious over game talk, but definition of "worst" is vague and people "at their worst" can't always just deal with it alone, like in some kind of a movie where hero can overcome all obstacles with power of will and plot by his side We all have shit moments in life, someone more someone less, but well sometimes when you think about this times when you was "at your worst" you realize how close you were to fuckd up and didn't even see this in that moment

I think that line is in game
Always nice to see more people talk about ac and its lore =) Keep up the fab work both of you.
You too!
Anyone else imagining Iguazu as a Iguana Scaly in a Mech?
Yes lol
The first thing Yorskha said is asking if Sophie is a duck 🦎🦆🦖
Iguazu honestly makes the final play though come together perfectly.
A little interesting tidbit: It was actually revealed through cut dialogue that the other MIND ALPHA units that back up Iguazu in the fight are actually powered by a “singular psyche” with extreme force of will.
I’m sure you can guess who that is lmfao
I'm curious, who are you referring to?
@@zacheryeckard3051 It should be kind of obvious due to the fact that there are only two hostile “personalities” in that final fight. ALLMIND and Iguazu.
@@Linksays Sulla is there too tbh
As a person living with borderline personality disorder I for one welcome Untreated BPD King Iguazu
🤓
To be fair, I kinda doubt that Balam and the Redguns actually do re-education. It sounds like that's more of an Aquebus thing.
The Balam still abuses the Redguns, and they're almost certainly kept in debt intentionally to make sure they maintain pilots, but I don't think they use "re-education" in the same way.
@@onyxtay7246 yea, red guns are doing a soft power thing, we’re totally comrades in arms even tho we have a spreadsheet of everyone’s performance, but really it’s cuz we’re a family, so much that Michigan might actually believe it the way upper management thinks buying pizza for the office when 2/3rds collects welfare (don’t look up how many Walmart employees collect social benefits, I’m not even anti welfare I think it should be expanded but why doesn’t Walmart just pay them a living wage lol)
Arquebus and specifically the vespers are the ones doing re education.
I'm almost convinced there is some kind of timeloop taking place in ACVI, and only AllMind and/or Iguazu seem aware of it.
Can’t believe I didn’t realize the Sea Spiders would shut down if you got Iguazu to half. I took the spiders out first every time. Finding a build where I wouldn’t run out of ammo was a challenge for me.
that matter-of-fact sigmund freud mech joke may be sins best work
Honestly I kept getting stuck after iguazu shut everyone down the sea spiders were barely a hinderance, so that part about iguazu letting me win doesn't even slightly apply to me.
I wasn't expecting the story and characters to be my favourite part of AC6, but they totally were! Especially the 'meta' playfulness of the story.
There definitely should be a Michigan episode because he is a rather interesting character on the surface he seems like some over-exaggerated drill sergeant like character that doesn't give a shit about anyone
But in actuality he is what I would call the pure definition of tough love he cares about everyone under his command it's just his way of helping people is to push them to be stronger Mercenaries and has this might is Right mentality which considering the world of AC6 or just AC in general he's not wrong regardless of how one would feel about his methods of helping people and I mean other than Iguazu and that one guy who is arguably more forgivable than iguazu Michigan's brutal yet honest approach does work
love the ac6 content from you both so far
I love the AC pixelart background, so good.
God I love the story of AC6 so much. The concept, characters, plot points and basically everything within it remind me of old sci fi novels. Great video, looking forward to more content on this game :) (assuming yall plan on making more videos)
Iguazu? More like Iguazwho
Omg lol
ouchie
Sophie's Michigan gives me life.
imo G1 michigan would fit nicely in a marvel movie with all of his quips lmao
I want to see post therapy Iguazu once he gets his DBT therapy, maybe the coral gestalt has a therapist in there.
Oh great and mighty Algorithm, hear my comment. Bless this channel with many clicks.
The level of quality here is amazing! Also love both of your voices really looking forward to seeing more of this channel!
You can't fix vulnerable narcissism with therapy.
Iguazu is a big nerd 😏
I KNEW YOU WERE LAUGHING AT ME
😄@@SinclairLore
“ You were a mistake Iguazu “ - Allmind
"No, you" - Iguazu, somehow gaining full control over AI by the power of hatred and seething alone
More AC6 content please!!! I only just finished the game and there's so little lore content out there 😭
We will do more soon!
@@SinclairLore thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Walter's dialogue, in his fight, implies that 621 didn't choose to be a mercenary either.
G5 Iguazu brought me here, I am glad
We're glad too!
I wish there was an option the story to basically tell him that the reason why you're failing is your build here's what I use
It's funny how ALLMIND made the common AI mistake of sampling terrible no good data in the form of Iguazu.
Iguana therapy session when?

Iguazu telling you likely secret plans to you to make himself look better than you can also be compared to the War Thunder forums
Iguana needs to take a deep breath. Good video!
Everything Iguazu all at once. XD

Iguaz-who?
Im very excited for the Michigan episode
great ep!
Im loving the AC6 vids. Would love if you guys did a kinda comprehensive overview of the story especially for those unfamiliar with the style of AC.
(Another note here is that the orbit and his arms are also ALLMIND parts, so it's likely that he deserted the Redguns to kill you on ALLMIND's request)
Whether or not anyone should be a merc (they shouldn't), Iguazu is beyond capable, he's just never able to relax.
I think he was talking more about the other minds allmind had subsumed
Allmind really nerfed itself in that final boss fight why did it think it was a good idea to get someone so unhinged
Because we killed Allmind's preferred candidate, Sulla. O'Keefe was probably another candidate as well, but he had a change of heart and we ended up assassinating him. Allmind didn't have any other choices.

Ah yes, the river "Lawrence".
more or less just parroting the igauzu is weak meme, meanwhile the guys easily dodge spamming and depleting every players heals because they underestimate them, me included. Fact of the matter is Igauzu is basically the real main character, has a rise fall, and redemption arc. We really should drop the forced Igauzu hate and just aim it at someone who straight up wants the disrespectSnail.
I don’t know anyone who thinks iguazu is weak, as a matter of fact we say the opposite in this video
Iguazu is Graham Acker / Mr Bushido from Gundam 00, but more edgy and whose tragedy is somewhat mixied with comedic tones due how many times he dies.
I feel like Iguazu is a fool for the Players like he gets to fight the same impossible challenge over and over getting more miffed each attempt until we’ll they go postal
They’re also a near replica of 621 Being out of luck gen4 with no real chance beyond this work the difference is how well we adapted which he never truly could always looking for an out whilst 621 Raven Thrived
Sin and JSF should do video on Xenoblade series and characters.
It's probably too long for us to do on our own, but we might have someone else who knows more on one day.
I didn't get the hacking misson until my 3rd play through
I think it's dependent on whether you betray Iguazu and Volta in the dam mission.

Iguazu is a simp for all mind
Iguazu deserves nothing but contempt. The proof of a person is not when they get everything they need, it's when injustice happens to them. If a person is not showing their best qualities at their worst time then they do not deserve to ever be at their best.
Hate to get serious over game talk, but definition of "worst" is vague and people "at their worst" can't always just deal with it alone, like in some kind of a movie where hero can overcome all obstacles with power of will and plot by his side
We all have shit moments in life, someone more someone less, but well sometimes when you think about this times when you was "at your worst" you realize how close you were to fuckd up and didn't even see this in that moment
@@М.О.Н.С That is not our case. He had people who looked out for him but he left them to rot and now they are dead. It's his own fault again.
get his ass
