Nobody could top these three brothers! Their harmony was right on. I wondered if anyone besides me can understand every word - unlike today's entertainers in their tight jeans and short skirts!
Their individual voices were great.... and with all 3 singing together, the sound was perfection in harmony. They were simply wonderful and like no other group I have ever heard. Every time I hear "All That Keeps Ya Goin'" it brings back wonderful memories for me of a long ago time
one of my many favorites, and 99per cent are just that, can't really think of any I don't enjoy listenin to,,,,,R>I>P> TOMPALL,,,you will truely be missed by the ones thank think you are one of the GREAT ones.
On this day in 1974 {July 20th} two versions of "Rings" entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; the Lobo version {with the Almond Bros. on the stereo} peaked at #43 and Rueben Howell {he had Jim Croce on the record player} reached #86... Three years earlier in 1971 Cymarron {with James Taylor on their stereo} took it to #17 on the Top 100... Also in 1971 Tompall & the Glaser Brothers' version {with Merle Haggard on the record player} made it to #7 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart..
It actually first appeared on their 1969 LP "Now Country" which also featured another single "Wicked California". Both "California" tunes were the only new songs on the album. Unfortunately, the remainder of the LP consisted of covers. "tick...tick...tick" was a movie soundtrack which wasn't released until 1970.
Every bod on hear need to Join the Tompall and Glaser Bros Groups so you can help vote them into The CMHOF Please and sigh petition to help put them there ! THANKS GO TO The Great Tompall appreaction group on face book !
truck87654321 Cowboy Jack Clement was a great writer. He wrote my favorite Charley Pride song: Just Between You and Me. He was also the Glaser’s and Pride’s producer.

Mellow voices. No better harmony. These guys were maybe the greatest singers of all time.

My wife introduced me to Tompall and his brothers. To me they are the greatest in family harmony. Jim should be ashamed of himself.
Why should Jim be ashamed of himself???
Harmony at its best
