I was at school, and in art class, we're learning how to draw self portraits. We're doing each feature and practicing that. We started with the eye and my teacher put on one of your videos on drawing the photo realistic eye time lapse, and I'm like, " OMG THATS MARK CRILLEY GUYS I KNOW HIM HE'S MY FRIEND MERLINS PANTS"

I got a drawing tablet a year or so ago and I haven't really ever drawn anything with it before because drawing with a tablet is so much harder than a pencil and paper. Anyways, I decided to get it out today and draw this while watching the video and I am really happy with how it turned out. Thank you for all of your videos. And for anyone that has a drawing tablet and thinks they cant draw very well with it, just watch these videos. You don't need to use the tools that he uses :)

markcrilley sensei, I want to thank you for this tutorial because I am sure this is one of the hardest tricks of an illustration some people say hands are hard to draw out because in some anime they exaggerate the long fingers or hands of the sort an everyone has their own stye but I for one had trouble myself in drawing hands because they all seem wonky looking to me so I may to watch this tutorial again for future reference again thanks crilley!

This video is really informative and well done too ! As a person who loves to draw, it can be really difficult for me to illustrate certain things with my mind. That's why I use tutorials, reference pictures and helpful things to assist me in doing better and to look any types of false. Great video man, and I love your videos by the way !

Plz release you're next book real soon can't wait to get my hands on them
The guide line for the second hand can be used for two different poses. The first is the original one Mark used which has her arm and palm behind his hand and the fingers in front. But you could also make it to where the arm and top of her hand are in front and the fingers are tucked behind his palm. (hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say and that this will help.)

I've attempted it and it's not bad for my first time as I'm not good at hands at all, I had a bit of anxiety trying to get it right (I am my worst critic) but I'll keep practicing. Once I really get it I have a different background idea.
