This is the first thought that came to me and thanks for making the side by side, goes to show how amazing phil was in his prime, with both size and conditioning
@@JakeUltimateFitness yes would have been but to use one of Phil's best forms against pics of Martin not fully dried out or filled up is kinda making it less fair than it already is bro lol if that makes sense but anyway keep the good content coming I enjoy these
His arms seem to be lagging but perhaps that’s only because we’re accustomed to looking at arms that are loaded with sight-enhancement oils. Obviously there are bodybuilders who have great arms without oils, such as Arnold or Ronnie or Phil. But most natural bodybuilders have arms that are small in proportion to their torsos. Personally I’d prefer that judges don’t give an incentive for contestants to load their bodyparts with oil.
@@JakeUltimateFitness Hi Jake, I may be wrong but isn't it the norm for bodybuilders to site enhance? My understanding is that we can't tell if someone is using SEO unless the usage is egregious or something went wrong with the injection, such as Jay Cutler's bruising at his last Olympia appearance.
I wouldn’t say it’s the norm, however it’s more than likely that more bodybuilders are using site enhancements than we thin; i.e. using it well 😂. If you look at late 1990s Flex Wheeler, late career Milos Sarcev, or even potentially Hadi Choopan 2-3 years ago, certain body parts like the delts, biceps, and triceps, and sometimes even calves look too big and lack too much separation. For Martin, his arms sort of have that characteristic, however it seems to be a genetic thing. Ultimately, it is hard to tell when someone uses it right, however the examples I gave should give some additional insight. Also, check out Marx Max Muscle’s vid on worst cases of synthol, it should help clarify things too.
@@JakeUltimateFitness Agree! Exactly, when used well it may be hard to detect. Palumbo sells a SEO and without mentioning names, he once said that several top 10 bodybuilders buy it.
I don’t get how Phil won 7 to be honest. Horrible mid section after 2012. I don’t agree that you can win Mr.O with a bloated 4 pack. AB’s are the number one overlooked thing in men’s open. If you don’t have a 6 pack, you shouldn’t even be in a call out. The vacuum, cool, but, crunch the abs and if you don’t have it, cya.
pro tip...don't use an absolute SH!T quality video for a comparison...Phil Heath is in 480 p Phis has that overall GRAINY LOOK...wait no...that's just the HORRIBLE QUALITY VIDEO CLIP :/
@@JakeUltimateFitness I'm saying...the overall Video concept and execution is really good. but when you use a terrible quality video, everything you're saying can't be seen. so it might be hard...but you were kind of lazy because I found a few Phil Heath Videos in HD in a few minutes. Just trying to offer some constructive critique because that's going to turn a lot of people off.
There are plenty of HD videos of Phil, that’s not what I’m saying. If you have some where Phil’s entire body is in frame, the camera is facing his direct front, and he hits every mandatory pose, please send it to my instagram for future videos. This was the best footage I could find where every mandatory pose was in frame, since a lot of his other videos lack a uniform angle or things like that
@@JakeUltimateFitness I had to find the poses in different vids. also consider if you found a phil vid doing a double biceps but only 3/4 body but HD you could have cropped the other Vid to 3/4 body to make them the same. little details brother. but keep up the grind.
That’s the thing, for these comparisons it’s best to stick to one version. If I were to use different versions there would be too many variables to control and account for in the beginning, and then it wouldn’t even be a good comparison. I could do the cropping and video editing, however I’m not that good at it and also it’s hard to find the time to do it-especially being in school. I appreciate the feedback though, and will try to find better footage
Hey guys, I put out this video first because I had it done... That being said, I'll end up doing all the videos on the poll within the next week!
Martin's delts and arms look like balloons
I am a fan of Martin but Phil is just Phil ❤
Another great video. Keep them coming!
He will get there eventually if he is consistent
This is the first thought that came to me and thanks for making the side by side, goes to show how amazing phil was in his prime, with both size and conditioning
Thanks for watching!
Nice video
Probably should have used the night shows pics since he improved throughout the night show and filled out and came back dryer
Probably could’ve yeah, however I think that regardless the outcome would’ve been similar

Do you think Martin has oil? I’ve heard some say that however I don’t think it’s the case

Do a compression between Markus ruhl vs Paul dillet (freak vs freak, monster vs monster)💪
Phills arms were just ridiculous lmao.
Structures are similar, but Martin could never be on Phil's level. But he hss good potential
muscle quality is night and day.
Martin still has a long way to go to be compared to prime phill
Prime Phil was 2013, much better than this 2010 version.
Phill is much better

No, he ain't! No, he ain't! 😊
not even close
No comparaison
these two dont really seem similar at all
BOO!!!!! This is an insult to Phil. Martin doesn’t deserve a comparison to Phil. This is a joke but you got my comment.
😂 Phil definitely wins but Martin isn’t bad
@@JakeUltimateFitness You’re right. I was impressed with Martin. His only weakness are his biceps
I like Martin but this is a stretch!
