- I received a question in a previous video stating that they were unable to install Forge because Mac OS X did not recognize the developer. This is a security feature of Mac OS X, but there is a way around it.

I thank you VERY MUCH! ^_^ I was about to comment saying that forge had an unidentified developer. I'm so glad you made this video!
Thanks for this!
my mac doesnt have a anywhere option
i meant to comment on your previous video, same thing though
I dont have option anywere :/
HI! When i'm at the step to clic install client on forge, it says : (error) you need to run the version 1.7.2 manually at least! or 1.6.4 manually at least (because i tried with 2 versions). What should I do?????
Hey Marina, Minecraft was must be started at least once before you can do this, otherwise it won't have the opportunity to configure itself. You can click on Minecraft like you're going to play, but then make sure to select version 1.7.2 or 1.6.4 from your profile menu. Once you get to the start menu of the game, you can quit and then proceed with the rest of this procedure.
If you need more help, let me know and I'll do another video.
Thank you!!!
mine does not have "anywhere" on it
This video shows an older version of macOS. On the newest version (Big Sur) the option to pick is "App Store and identified developers". Hope that helps.
and my texture packs?
will this erase all of my worlds?
Changing your security settings will not erase your worlds. But, as in my previous video, pulling the minecraft folder out of its current directory will give you a clean installation of Minecraft.
ok thanks
