- It's time to start throwing some upgrades at my new-to-me NC2 Miata. I picked up a Goodwin Racing RoadsterSport Super Q exhaust and figured this was a great first mod to kick off this fun MX-5 build.

Nice to see more NC content. It sucks that alot of people skip over this gen of miata when it can be just as capable as previous gens and still be competitive with the latest models.

I put the Goodwin racing exhaust single pipe on much more pop.and burbilse Reasonable price.
Stock cloth roof 1.8 nc. No air con. No leather. No cruise. No LSD. Just a revvy engine and sweet gear change. Perfect.
Super Q is great if you plan on doing a full exhaust it was just too quiet for me on its own, so I opted for the roadster sport 2 on my NC2 . Love the NC videos!!!
Sounds good. Look for an RX-8 intermittent wiper stalk, super simple and practical upgrade.
Stock 1.8 nc. Cloth roof, no leather, no a/c, no LSD, no cruise. Just an engine that loves to be revved and a sweet gear change. Perfect.
I have the header, midpipe, and race on my ND. It’s not too loud
What rims are those? they look amazing? what setup do they have? I mean sizes.

I got that exhaust, spring and sways from Goodwin right in his shop in PB. I did put in the sound dampeners - on the freeway it was just a bit loud for me - and the performance diff was zero. But my 2010 is 100% fun on the street!
Hi,super Q is on the quiet side for me,I went with a cobra race back box but my car has a BBR super 200 package ( which I highly recommend) and it sounds awesome.I went with the CF tips that really look beautiful on the 4" slash cut tips....this is it

So this sound clip is still with the Flowmaster resonator, then. I imagine with a totally stock system it will just give a lightly deeper tone, not much louder at higher rpms.
For me, it's just the right volume, since I live in a block of townhouses and it's still actually pretty loud when i cold start my NC in the garage. Loud without being too loud. Thanks for the great sound samples since I've never had a chance to hear it properly from the outside!

I'm 100% down. Life has been hectic so this car had to wait a bit before I started doing anything with it.
I was talking about NC's compared to NB's. I would rather own a NC with a 2.5 engine and a super charger. I hear the 2.5 swap is somewhat easy.
Buy a car with a bigger engine. Completely misses the point of an MX5.
