Update: Yesterday we visited Bahna. It was HOT, guys! The sun was burning down like mad, but it was very nice as usual, many interesting vehicles, nice and friendly people and staff and lots of food, beer, icecream! Unfortunaltely, there were less historic vehicles than in 2019, when we visited Bahna first.
There was even some real fire burning, proably caused by some Dana artillery vehicles firing blanks. But as there were also firefighters who had some vehicles on display this was no big deal.
Amazing video the 2 tanks are something else friend you and the lads keep the great videos coming friend. From Scotland 😊🎉
Thanks! Will do!
Interesting explore folks Thank you very much Cheers Ian
Glad you enjoyed it
The holes at the back of the engine compartment were access to the final drives,Shafts would have been inserted in them and the engine/Transmission were installed as one unit, The axle stubs would be bolted to the out out shafts that are inserted in the final drives,Giving it propulsion. Very similar to the m60 and Patton tanks we had in Germany in the 1970's-1980's ,I left in 1984 just as the M1 tanks were4 being delivered. The Patton was a parade tank. I was at 2/614th detachment Bamberg Germany supporting the 2/2 cavalry.
Thanks for the information:)
1967 was engraved on the white metal part of the troop carrier.
the first tank is a T-34-85 and the second one is a BTR-80
the second one is a OT-64 Skot
Tomorrow we"ll visit "Bahna", which means mud in Czech language, it's the day of military ground troops in a big training area in Czechia. Usually there are lots of tanks and other vintage as well as brandnew vehicles on exhibition and also in motion. 😀

Can you imagine how loud it woukd have been inside the T34 even when its main gun wasnt firing? The engines they used were huge! When the gun fired though 😖
