Armored Ship | Assassin's Creed Black Flag Legendary Ship Encounter

La Dama Negra is one of the more unique legendary ships. This one requires you to attack from behind, as it's covered in armor. Mortars will also work. The main attack strat us to carefully get behind it while avoiding mortar shots, attack it, then avoid its heavy shots as it attempts to get away. The mortars it fires are powerful and don't show where they'll land. You can attempt to avoid them by pointing your ship away from where you want to sail, then turn away as they are fired. Bracing is extremely important here, as the mortars deal devastating amounts of damage if you can't get out of them. Fire barrels in my experience are bad as they altered the ships pathing into ramming the jackdaw, besides they deal no damage. Finally be careful of surrounding ships. They can rarely get involved, yet still its a hassle. Utilize bracing and avoid the heavy shots and you should be ok.

One thing you could of done if you had a maxed ram is try and stay behind her and ram her constantly even a small tap did quite abit of damage to it when I did it

That would work. Though I think it can still turn if you hit it with chain shots
