exposing those supports in the attic to give even more vertical space would look really nice, i think. also that 3D scan tech Noda-san uses is so cool!
Congrats. Good luck with the renovation. The people you assembled to do the work seem like a good fit. BTW, we used lidar on a large commercial building--in the end we sold the space after owning for one year as we found a space better suited for us right down the street AND then we put this second space on the market last month after we consulted with several contractors and engineers and the bids we got for renovation were astronomical--the space is an 8000sq ft bow truss building. We are now looking at commercial spaces that require little to no renovation. I look forward to the progress on your new building. Did they give you a time-frame for the renovation work? Is the permit process easy or difficult in this city?
Yes I am very interested in buying a house there it doesn't have to be right there but close to Kyoto I am been watching your videos for a long time now and following you I am in my 70s and I am retired and I have a good income so it's not that I want to buy some of these houses for income I would like to buy a couple of these houses to enjoy a renovating them for I love the history of the Japanese samurai the Old Farmers the different people of of Japan if you can help me that would be so kind and wonderful on😊😅❤
Hi Danny, I have not been there personally. As it's towards the southern part of Niigata pref (warmer) and relatively close to the Joetsu shinkansen, I don't think there's any problem with living in Kashiwazaki city.
It was really interesting to see these new technologies ^^
Can't wait to see what's going to happen with this akiya
GLAD FOR YOU been in country for a month now still looking for houses… guess you can only get attention if there is a loan or your borke

I had been wondering what the status of the Noto property was and wondered if it had been affected by the quake.
Excited to see this new project!
