I own ASrock tiachi Although I really like the motherboard, there are two major issues I have. 1. Killer ethernet speed tests go up to 2.3Gbps and then quickly drop to under 500Mbps download while the upload goes up to 1700Mbps. I purchased a $20 realtek ethernet card, and it fixed my performance issues by sustaining 2.3Gbps, which is what I pay for. Second issue how do you connect z906 5.1 surround? Spdif only supports 2 speakers on Windows 11, and there's only two analog ports in the back
Idk why you recommend the taichi board so much when gigabytes x670e aorus extreme is better in every way. You also gave some misinformation, the 2x PCIE gen 5 x16 slots is only x16 aslong as both slots arent used. When both are in use it becomes 2x PCIE gen 5 x8, not x16
@@mathieu9530 Yes it is. "2x PCIe 5.0 x16 Slots (PCIE1 and PCIE2), support x16 or x8/x8 modes*" Taken directly from asrock own website. AND the gen 5 NVME slot shares connection with Thunderbolt, marking the NVME as a portable removeable device, like its an USB stick. I have both motherboards, aorus extreme is better.
