Futurama did it first. And better What really made me mad was not the act of eating those eggs in and of itself but rather, Grogu continuing to do so even after being repeatedly told not to, and arguably being aware of his actions
You brought up some really good points that I didn't think of. Thank you for tackling this subject with the sensitivity it deserved. Honestly, I love Baby Yoda but I was really put off by that "joke". You were absolutely right: it did not fit the tone of the show at all. I happen to love dark humor too, but how you execute a joke is also just as important as the joke itself. Great job as always 👍💕
I was torn. I felt bad because the Child was obviously hungry, and I understood it was meant to be a joke, so the first time I gasped and chuckled a bit, but then it kept happening and I started to get frustrated because they had established how precious the eggs were and I was like, "Mando! FEED the child!". (I know he was busy, lol, but still.) It's probably my least favourite episode of the series.
I have to agree. Especially since the child's hunger is a reoccurring theme in the series, you'd think Mando would have realized he'd need a large stock of food. He must have figured out what Grogu eats by now. How long did he have him? Obviously he fed him something! If you want to blame someone, blame Mando (just not for genocide, of course.)

Couldn't agree more!

@@carolusmagnus1871 Since later we find that Grogu understands speech and orders, part of the blame lies on him as well.

Thanks! I think I'm just too slow to upload, for one thing.
A year later and this comment is still sadly true.
