Thank you for having this as a different podcast. It is so very interesting and would be wonderful to see! Thank you to all involved in The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for all their work to show us all the history of our country's works of quilting art!
Wonderful video! I love history and quilts so hearing the stories behind the works of art was delightful. I wish I lived close to Boston. Thanks for sharing this with us.
What a fascinating exhibit! Wish I could travel to Boston to see it. The Texas Quilt Museum in La Grange TX, which is just over an hour away, has been on my list of things to do. I am now motivated to visit that museum. Thank you for a great podcast!
I’m so happy that I took some time to listen to this podcast this afternoon. I live about an hour from Boston and am making a reservation to see this exhibit. I cannot wait!
This was by far my favorite episode. I loved the discussion and am now trying to figure out how to get to Boston before the exhibition is over. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Wonderful and inspiring podcast! I went to university in Boston, and the BMFA was a regular haunt. They do the most amazing special exhibitions, and this one is no exception. Thank you for bringing it closer to us and to the forefront of attention.
This interview and discussion was so fascinating; I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. I had seen two of the quilts previously but what a wide selection. Wonderful.
This was an amazing discussion of the exhibit. I almost passed it by but glad I checked it out. The variety and quality of the quilts was fabulous. I wish I could go to Boston to see them in person.
I had heard of the Exhibit from Mary Fons. Such a wonderful showing of American Quilts. We have been to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts before it it was marvelous. Due the current Pandemic, it is some what probolimic as we have health issues that make the visit unattainable. THANK YOU for the fun interview. You folks rock!
Thank you Guys so much for this it was so informational I love to hear about the history of something and it’s always good to hear the history about something that we love to do every day
Oh how I would love to go on a field trip! Although I did not appreciate history much while in school, as I got older I developed a love of all things history. I put the book on my Christmas list and will definitely purchase it if my children don't come through. These quilts are amazing! Thank you Sherri and Chelsi, this was an awesome podcast :)
OooOOoooOoOOOohh WOOOOOOOW!! This was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Thank you so much for bringing this interview to us!! I've learned a LOT and enjoyed myself even more!!
This was an informative and very interesting podcast. I purchased the book, Fabric of a Nation: American Quilt Stories, because Suzy Quilts (a blog site) is hosting a book club and this is the book being read. The fun starts in November so there is still time to get the book and join the club. I’ve been randomly reading the stories and have been inspired. Thank you for this episode.
I went to see this exhibit. If you have an interest in historical quilts, then you'll probably like what you see. I guess I had set my expectations very high, anticipating marvelous color palettes and exquisite workmanship and expertise. That is not what you will find here, with the exception of two or three quilts. The 3-D sphere and the Lisa Butler pieces really knocked my socks off....but personally I was disappointed in the rest of the exhibit . If you live in the Boston area, go see it...but it's NOT worth a cross country plane ticket!!!

Such an interesting episode, Sherri & Billie! The history behind quilting is very fascinating and what a beautiful exhibit that will be.
