One of your best reviews yet! Excellent job (including the Top Gear-esque edit with the table)! I also completely agree with your point regarding a single engine option for the 33.
With the kids now grown up and doing their own thing, the 33 is a good option for me and the Mrs. Cruising up and down the coast of Sydney, the twin D4's is perfect, and this is a nice manageable size!
These reviews from Alex just keep getting better, as does the videography and 'packaging' of the video as a whole. I especially appreciated the transition continuity from the videographer as Alex moved about the boat. As for the basic 'open plan' design, my years cruising in Northern Europe tell me the designers are thinking 'Med' and ignoring the realities of N European weather. Better to me would be glass 3-panel aft doors with the aft facing lounge thereafter. But maybe the potential buyer will appreciate the temptation of the open plan's sizzle and miss the practical realities of the fussier steak.
Another brilliant review Alex, thanks. Have to agree, with current twin engines I’d want to make it to the 36. Nice single D6 squeezed in would be interesting!
The noise would be a dealbreaker for me. Also, in common with some other boats, that forward sun lounge doesn’t work for me. On a boat that size priority should be on maximising usability of the cockpit space at the expense of full standing headroom in the second berth area.
2:40 is that a dual thrust lever and he just forgot to engage the other engine (would explain loud noise levels), or what is that second lever for? Or is there a system to control both engines with one lever?
It's a very common feature to be able to link the throttles so that one lever operates both, so that's what you're seeing (you activate it with a simple press of a button).
Small boat???? Not really she got a big heart or engine good movability and agility. Good boat for a fast passage to another port for lunch or finding a bay for a picnic. All in all she does what it says on the tin. I like her very much, good interior stylist and comfortable.
I wish I could afford a boat like this. I'm working my ass off to afford a decent car and house. I guess I choose the wrong path in life or maybe choose the wrong parents.
Seems a deeply flawed boat to me. That blunt shale must explain the relatively poor fuel economy and speed. 600hp for a 33 footer should be a rocket. There is almost no storage space, terrible range etc.. like many of these boats it would be so much better if they took stuff out and actually made some space to actually use it.
Maybe your cameraman/ woman should face a bit more on what you're showing and not just on you pointing there and keeping focus on you. Talking about cockpit table for 6 and those kind shades you try to explain. After this I stopped watching 😞
Anyone who has done long term social media will have respect for Alex on this, great presenting

Nice boat its in my top ten favorite so far because I am on a budget and this is relatively in that range .
Aloha; BRILLIANT! We agree with your observations. And putting a single in it would make the delta between it and 36 ever better. Mahalo
Great boat and great tour, thank you 😀
A good honest review, very informative 👍

Awesome video and review, congratulations
M.b.y thank you. These uploads do help.
Great review
I wonder if you could shed some coin and add a bit of sound insulation in the engine bay to help keep those D4's nice and quiet
Is there a version of this boat with a closed cabin and shaft drives?

Nice video , am I alone thinking I'd rather have the guest cabin than the VIP one ?. ( ok I like small places myself ) . Hiding away . 😊

115NM with reserve isn't great.

would like a walk in shower over breakfast nook.
I have found the answer. Watch with the volume off and ignore the Romper Suit.
Or scroll on by 🤷🏼♂️
Beautiful boat, but with the elevated noise level and smell of diesel fuel while underway, I will pass.
Great video. Thanks for the good and honest review.

It, not she.
