@@scrapitall200 after reading my first message I realized I forgot to say that your love/enthusiasm of scraping is contagious. I have found that I really enjoy doing this. I just need to find a balance for what is worth putting my time and effort into scraping for more value vs hurry up and get the house and property empty so it can go on the market. I’m kind of thinking about how to set up a small workshop at my house to do this in my free time for fun and a little extra cash here and there. Now that I’m thinking about it and have seen the cash and checks coming in. I have started to see all kinds of stuff people put out on the curb with a free sign on it. Really a lot of free money out there available you just have to spend a little time and effort to extract it.

Be careful of those ceramic pieces, they can be quite sharp even slice through leather gloves👀

Absolutely, they can be so sharp. Fortunately I’ve never been cut by them yet, but I have friends you have and I take it very seriously. Thank you buddy.

Just cut those welds with a angle grinder. All that pounding is irritating.

Not everyone has an angle grinder and I wanted to show there’s a different way.

I prefer to cut the welds with an angle grinder, but I think there's advantages to using a hammer instead. For one, you save money on grinding discs, as well as wear and tear on your grinder.

@@scrapperbrad it’s definitely faster. For me since I work in a shelter logic tent I’m worried sparks or hot metal dust will ruin the tent, plus I try to show ways of doing things without post tools since many new scrappers don’t have all the tools, I know I didn’t at first lol.

If you use a side grinder on the welds it works a lot better and faster

Cold chisel worked just fine with minimal effort.
Lots of people who hobby scrap don’t own a grinder so I try to show different ways of doing things, but thank you.
