Yes but works way better than WD-40 in my experience.

I'm going to need to buy a tent like you have or a shed to hold all of my scrap. My wife is being pushed out of the garage. It's funny how fast things build up just hobby scrapping.
@@cointenderrarities933 it really is amazing how fast stuff starts to pile up.

What did you soak that engine in to get the screws out?
Nice technique on getting those dimpled screws out.
PB Blaster!
Thank you, it seems to always work.
Your hoard is looking good. I think the welder will have at least double that in it. Happy Scrappin

@@JohnJoe-pf8of thank you buddy!
Where I live the scrap yards won't even talk to you unless you have 1000 lbs. Don't even bring in small chunks of wire and stuff you pulled out of plugs. They'll laugh you off the property.
@@dw7094 thats not normal, most scrapyards are happy to buy your metals, no matter the amount of weight.
Nothing is impossible to undo with a grinder and a hammer. Lol . What part of America are you bases. I'm watching from the UK Yorkshire..when I'm struggling to pull number 2 copper out I use WD 40 on the wire.
@@iffy9776 I live in Washington state!
Yeah some good ole lubricant helps a lot.

That was very nice of him.
This was an excellent video, really enjoyed it and some nice editing as well. Always fascinating to see things disassembled and how much they can potentially be worth:)
Thank you so much, I appreciate that.
Thank you for sharing.
At the current price of scrap metal, your gonna need doing the scraping for pure enjoyment. Not gonna make a living off of it
I’m just a hobby scrapper fortunately.
Thank you for watching.
Imagine if you got that generator to work? All that copper suggests it cranked out a fair bit. Looked like it was pretty far gone though, so good call to mine it for minerals.
@@jamesfrench7299 yeah I think it had seen better days, but you’re right, all that copper in such a small unit. Was probably a great generator once.
Nice teardown and payout. I've never seen one like that with those nice packs. Good to see you back, buddy.
Sure makes it a lot easier than a regular stator.

@scrapitall200 luckily you had the armature to balance it out. 😁

It’s going to be an awesome scrap out.
I took apart a pressure washer and i can't get the copper windings out of the case ,no screws or anything. How do i get it out?
You need to cut the case off with an angle grinder then cut the crown off (one side of the coil of copper) then you can pull the copper out.
I have a few videos scrapping motors, it might help to get a visual.
Feel free to ask any more questions you might have.

Good tips! That welder will be a copper treasure trove!
@@bearhardcorepicker I sure hope so. I believe it will be, but as you know, the dreaded aluminum is always lurking 😂
Either way, I’m going to have fun scrapping it.
@@scrapitall200 Yeah, the transformers do tend to be aluminium, but the cables are good and thick, and there should be some other copper inside the unit as well, even if the main coils are aluminium. Crossing my fingers for them being copper, though!
@@bearhardcorepicker exactly!
I’ve already started recording and I can tell you the cables produced an amazing amount of copper already.

Awesome job brother. I am running way behind I had to have 22.5 hours of surgery in 6 days . I can't walk without a cane.
@@PhilipRomeo69 oh my goodness, what’s going on brother?
@scrapitall200 I was born with cloves syndrome. The last 8 years I have been getting real bad infections had 2 previous surgeries to try to solve the issue with no luck. So the surgeon decided to get alot more aggressive. So may 31 I had a 10 hour surgery to fix it. That surgery failed to lack of blood flow. The area started to turn black. So the surgeon came back in 5 days later and said he had to go back in for to fix it that one was surgery # 79 and it was 12 and a half hours was in the hospital for 3 weeks and in a rehab for almost a month

I do a lot of lawn mower engine pressure washer engines my scrap yard closes heavy iron yesterday I took seven push lawn mowers and broke them down I try to wait until I get at least four or five when you start they go pretty quick once you get in a groove my scrap yard tell me if I could bring in at least 500 pounds of motors they would give me a better price So I've brought them in 2500 pounds last year I did the same thing with aluminum can told me give me four cents more per pound if I brought in over a hundred pounds i brought him 377 pounds I don't go to the scrap yard until I have it these two thousand pounds of weight I could go once a week what's 500 lb of material that $8 in gas each trip which would be $32 a month I go once a month with 2,000 lb and save 24 hours worth of gas plus wear and tear on the truck add trailer I also have a very good rapport with my scrap yard so I called them before I'm ready to come and set up a date at a time🤠
