Thanks for posting this. Today I came across a FAKE fake book and then thanks to the algorithm, your video came up next. It's a real education, I love the stuff about the gigging in NYC in the eighties. I've ordered the Beatles book. Just what the doctor ordered! The reviews on Amazon compared it favourably with other Beatles collections.
I'm glad you found it valuable. It's always great to hear I've opened the creative music making door a bit further for any fellow musician. You might enjoy more free improv tip videos and written examples at my blog: bradleysowash.com/blog
@@bradleysowash Thanks! I'm 72 and have had Phil Best as a fluency coach for nearly four years. I had spent two years learning a handful of 'easy' arrangements of pop songs and knew rhythm and keyboard fluency were not to be found down that road. I've been doing nothing but improvisation exercises all this time, so I think playing from lead sheets is going to be my Thing. But giant fake books are a dream come true!

Bradley, what happened to your ponytail?
Time takes it's toll on thinning hair. Didn't want a "rat tail." ;-)
