These guys really are living the dream. Doing what they love on their own terms. Building rolling art in small quantities. Making everyone that sees their work happier. If everyone could be so lucky.
Most of us were either too scared to attempt it or knew we didn't have the talent to succeed. I was both of those but damn, I wish I would have at least tried. That must be a tremendously satisfying job.
Miska, I don’t see it that way. You too can purchase these cars and do with them as you see fit. Causes it belongs to you. I live in a area that is extremely high demand. And people build works of art. Then in less than twenty years they sell and the next person who suffered to achieve their dream, tears down to build their dream house. Have seen it happen over 100 times on my island.
I'm very lucky to be able to say that my engineering company produce a few small parts for these beautiful cars and that I have had the pleasure of working with Paul Brace and the team at Eagle on many times. We always get a bit exited when we get an email from them saying "can you make these ........."
That must be really satisfying to have your name on the list of supplier/sources for a project like one of the Eagle cars. You should be very proud to have one of your products included in one of these cars. Well done!
"we're a very small company with no intention of getting bigger". that is such a great mindset, very underappreciated nowadays. everybody always just wants growth, and it's destroying the economy and society. this just feels very healthy.
It is a nice sentiment but to remain small a company has to have high margins on each unit sold. These cars sell for close to $1 million each and I am certain the margins are quite healthy. If GM or Ford or Toyota were building hand made, very limited production vehicles and selling them for extremely high prices, they would probably be small companies as well. I am glad companies that value true craftsmanship exist and can survive but I'm also glad that large, high volume companies exist as well so the public can afford to own automobiles.
I was fortunate enough to have a tour around Eagle Cars a couple of years ago with Paul as our guide. It lasted many hours and was truly a privilege. These guys are true craftsmen at work. Absolute top quality.

In '76, a scruffy 3.8 coupe I had purchased, with a shot engine, was finally refitted with a fresh, rebuilt 3.8 block, just in time to drive down from Vermont to Connecticut, to my parent's house for Thanksgiving. A gorgeous morning as I pulled onto Interstate I-91 (exit 4, Putney). Within minutes I'd attracted a Mako shark Vette, and shortly thereafter, a 911, joined our little convoy. From Brattleboro to Hartford, we cruised in the passing lane, until first the 911, and a few miles further the Corvette took exits off the highway. Thumbs up from both. A fun ride I'll never forget...
Could listen to this guy all day, such passion and joy in what he does. The cars he churns out are simply incredible and if I had the money I would order one in a heartbeat. Thank goodness the car world still has companies like Eagle
I was 10 years old when I saw my first E Type and immediately fell in love with it. I have never seen, to my eye, a prettier car. These Eagle productions look like they do justice to the originals.
I thought the same thing until I saw a Dino 246 GTS and Miura. Then I realized here was no comparison. Kinda like comparing Italian food to Angleish food or an Italian woman to an English one- no comp...
