Jay, I'm a professional chef in Cape Town, I have been trained very hard over 12years working with the best chefs in the great kitchens of the country. Your meal is really pure African dish, the combination of your ingredients are so power. Your spices are so naturals,...no fancy spice in ur dish. Stay blessed !
I just finished watching the video with you and mark wiens iam already hooked on you i can't wait to see your next video you guy's had so much fun i love you already Mukase Chic ❤👍👌✌
I'm a bit embarrassed that it takes a "Western" vlogger (Mark Weins) to enlighten me to your content...sorry...really looking forward to watching your videos, though! Damn your food looks amazing!!!
vollsticks Me too. But then again I just discovered Mark the same way. I was showing a friend Korean food and stumbled across Mark, Next thing I know I was watching Mukase.
@yerrinathreddy reddy--Hey not at all brother, not at all! Love and respect to all races, colours, creeds! I just meant that we in the West (and, lets face it, most of the world!) get inundated with American culture...all I meant was it's a shame I couldn't have sought it out myself! I never judge a person by their skin--we all got the same blood flowing through our veins, same hopes and dreams, and the same LOVE! Much respect to you from the UK, yerrinathreddy!
@Cris LeRoi--Respect, mate--as bad as the internet can be it is also a beautiful thing...all these wonderful people, sights and sounds we'd never encounter otherwise! humanity at its best, brother! Take care man much love from the Uk
Hey I've watched your video with Mark and I must say I loved seeing the colors, the food, and the people in Ghana!😍 I wish to see those someday, in the flesh! Btw, I fell in love with you right away! I'll be watching your videos from now on. Have a blessed day!!!
Mark Weins brought me here. Saw his most recent video of Ghana with you in it and I found you to be so fun and cool that I decided to check your channel. I'm glad I did. I'm your new subscriber.
Hello beautiful sista i just watched you on a vlog from the american guy mark i hope to see many vlogs from you i love ghanaian food n your spirit is incredible
while I was growing up, my culture used plastic to cover the rice while cooking it. So I started doing it when I started cooking as a young student without questioning it. Then a Chinese student questioned it while we attended college and said it was unnecessary. He said a good lid was all I needed it plus plastic has chemicals that will leak into the food. I stopped for a second and said to myself, I knew plastic has carcinogens why didn't I realize it on my own? Sometimes we must leave pride aside and simply use common sense. Yeah, you don't need plastic to cover the rice, but a good lid. None of my rice meals have been affected by not using plastic. And Chinese people know about rice cooking too as much as my culture. Don't use plastic to cover the rice.
I'm a Mark Wiens subscriber, and I watch the video of Ghanian food, I fell in love with it straight away. I didn't realize how much Ghanaian food is delicious based on the Mark's video, I looking forward to watching all your cooking videos on your channel.
Great video and great quality. Saw you on Mark Wiens channel and loved your personality. Subscribed. My family and I currently live in Ghana. We would love to collaborate with you and experience more awesome Ghanaian food. 🙂
Hello Jay saw you on Mark Wiens youtude channel. And the food was looking delicious!!! So I subscribe and hit the notification bell to see what great meals you're Cheffin up!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!
I've been following u on Instagram and on your blog, I'm glad u'r on here, quite difficult to get some GH dishes here, hope u'll post more and some GH baked goods. That said, can u pls prepare bambara beans with tatale or kaklo. Thanks
@Mengpeng ferme ta gueule... Jollof is prepared in Ghana, Nigeria, Sénégal, etc... It doesn't belong to anyone. Why don't you just say okro stew(sauce gombo) belongs to senegal. Jollof sounds like wollof doesn't make it wollof. Long live Africa, One love
@Mengpeng OK ooo, me I'm not fighting anyone and no one is fighting me either. I'm just fed up with all the '' wollof ''/ '' jollof'' commotion. Which tribe in Africa was the first to prepare Okro soup'' sauce gombo '', Groundnut soup'' sauce d' arachide '', palm nut soup '' sauce graines'', etc...? These above mentioned soups were passed down to us by our ancestors.
Nice! It would be good to see all the ingredients listed either in the video or in the description. I prefer the description because I can look at the ingredients while watching you make the food and it is easier to come back to find.
It's more better while you cook you explain direct to your audience.after finishing cook.you eat like other bloggers.am recommended you to see blog nongkrong bareng cristina .
Food looks great, but please do not use plastic sheet to cover the food while cooking, the toxic carcinogen will be released into the food, I believe it is sufficient if you just leave the cover on while cooking, or if you must, use aluminum foil. I am a chef.
I enjoyed you so much on Marks channel I had to subscribe.
Ron Torrence same here
Me too♥️

I'd love to see a recipe for zowie! The peanut and ginger snack on your video with Mark Wiens!
Great tutorial
Nice!
I think you should add duration between each process and the quantities of each ingredient used. It'll help us follow your recipe.
Whenever I come to Ghana I would love for you to take me around I saw you on Marks channel
I'd love to know what the heat level is! I love hot and spicy but my hubby and kids don't care for it to be too hot. I want to try this recipe!
You are so beautiful and your food 😊
This video is very helpful but there are no mention of measurements in video or description box! I want to try your way
Your channel is about to blow up. I see you posted some quality videos, but not too many. You better get to the posting and keep up with the demand.
