I'll try and come up with a few other artificial presentation videos. Baits key but you can have some fun with artificial on the river, especially for bass. Appreciate you watching Coneyisland1952, thank you
Hey man. Excellent video. You don’t how much your videos take me back to my childhood. The East and Hudson rivers were where I built myself and my fishing knowledge. This simple yet effective multispecies fishing really does take me back to the good old days! Love what you’re doing! Keep it up 👍 💯💫
Thank you Khantrix! That is really cool you got some nostalgic fishing vibes, those are the best. Growing up in NYC must've been fun, a lot of my best friends grew up in the city and I always enjoy hearing the stories. Fish on bud, hope your having a fun season
Another great video. I'm very impressed with how nice and also patient you are with people that stop and talk with you while your fishing. Also can you really eat fish out of the river?
Yeah you can totally eat fish out of the river. I wouldn't advise doing it daily but here and there is no problem. You end of talking to so many people fishing in NYC. That pole attracts great conversation. It is a great polar opposite to country fishing where you are more isolated.
@BobAquatic Thanks I figured you could eat fish out of river in moderation. Yes and where I live in North west part of NJ I usually only see other fisherman or bears lol
Me and my dad came to the same results fishing in NYC waters. Nothing but live bait and gulps work. I tried z man, salt strong, salt water assassin and we got no hits. We are strictly gulp and live bait moving forward. You earned a sub. Great video!
Thank you willalvarez773, appreciate you watching. Totally agree. Hopefully this video will help visitors fishing the city save some time. Hope you are having fun fishing this summer
@@BobAquatic you remember me right I was texting you about the fishing on Staten Island will my friend it's getting better and better the spots are bigger the porgies are bigger big blue fish all over the place more fluke common in and weakfish whenever you get the chance just come right out if you're anywhere by the Staten Island ferry there's a place it's right by the fire boats it's on Stapleton Stapleton park at the waterfront not far from the Staten Island ferry there's a bike road you can take the bike right over there hope to see you there one day that's why I catch all my blue crab right there including lobsters sometimes
@@BobAquatic The only days I go there is on Sundays in the morning I work Monday through Saturday so Sunday is the only either Saturday nights or Sunday morning
@@BobAquaticthen this Friday I'm going to try cuz they didn't have them last time in Dick's sporting goods store I didn't see the gulp sandworms over there you can use the gulp live sandworms blood worms clams during high tide it's slow but low tide depends if the current is moving and outgoing tide that's when you rack up and yes we got a lot of those black sea bass there
I was targeting catfish further upstream where the water is more brackish. We’d use chicken liver or expiring beef chuck. Beef chuck these days is more pricey so I’d probably use chicken liver.
I loved the alternative baits showing everyone how to change it up......the fish are out there go get em!! Thank you

Nice action on the artificials. Those gulp sandworms are great!
They work so well. The red colored ones work well too. But that camo is gold. Thank you for watching LI_Fishing

Hey Bob i like seeing all those New York Bridges also Wow
it is a good time!
Another banger of a video!
Thank you lionelvaldes1! Tight lines bud
Good tip on the Gulp. I fish in Tampa Bay and natural bait is a waste because the tiny pinfish are all over it as soon as it hits the water.
I did pretty well on gulp shrimp in Tampa, on a jig head
Another great one.
Thank you Matthew! Hope you are getting out there to fish and enjoy the Summer
You at my fishing spot 🙌🏾🙌🏾 def a lot of seabass out
That's cool, that area is beautiful. Plenty to explore around. Hope you are having a fun time out there!
You actually inspired me
That's the goal of these videos, get out and fish, enjoy the fresh air. Thank you fishingeverywhere256
where you fish last ive gotten some keeper porgys you should try
They are there for sure. Depends if you get there at the right time. Thank you for watching marshybanquet8897
Half of the boats in sheepshead Bay are gone because I used to work on the pilot 2 a long time ago
Thats a bummer, they're fun to go out on
But the best porgy boat that was in sheepshead Bay what's the jet

Those eels are annoying. Get into them often while fishing the Hudson River. If you go further upstream you’ll see tons of them.
I could see them being tough with by-catch, they're tricky to unhook. What do you catch them with?

@@awdobsession717 Thank you for the reply. Always curious to learn how the circle of life works throughout NYC waterways
Using the gulp you never know your first fish might be a fluke
They work great I was just losing them to small fish and switched pretty early on
He stole your show
