What was the purpose of the texture you added? Also, we really need better mug mock-ups. 😊
The texture was a halftone texture that goes along with the retro mascot style. And yes, we will add more soon.
Agreed. More Mock Ups overall. Tshirts are my main request but yes more mugs.
He did it all with Kittl ☕️✨🔥✨☕️

Will do!
GREAT video, really helpful thx. Question: when printing, I thought the rule was 300 dpi, you made that mug in 72? Just wondering?
Yes this was just for demonstration, however if the pixel size meets the requirement of the POD pixel size suggestion, there actually should be no issues. To be on the safe side, always go with 300 DPI.
The mockup download resolution is too low to be useful. Please consider making them higher res, preferrably user customizable. Thank you.
Hey there! We haven't had any issues with the mockup resolution sizes, in the places where they would need to be used like Social, Etsy, Shopify, or otherwise, but we will of course look into how to make them even bigger in the future.
I liked the video. However, I've just started to use Kittl, so all of that is like a foreign language to me, especially as an OLDER person
Thanks for the feedback here! We have some great introductory videos on our Channel that will help you with Kittl. Much of the UI looks a bit different from in this video, but give this a try and check out the timestamps to see what you'd like to learn about Kittl: ruclips.net/video/YOJMh4AfccI/видео.htmlsi=DOQnxnXJQNDmGuU6 (we will be working on a new one soon).
Is 72 dpi for the mock-up only? When we send to print should it be 300 dpi standard?
For any printed material, we'll always recommend 300 DPI!
I have been watching lots of videos on this channel. They are great thanks :-) So I will be selling mugs and it says on the print company page printable area 200x96mm for a 11oz mug. Do I just put that in kittl and then I’m confused is it 300dpi or 72 dpi like you said ? I get confused with these measurements and dpi
Hey there! You can follow what the print provider requires. They will either give you pixel dimensions that they want, or the actual size in inches. If they give you preferred pixel sizing, you don't need to export it at 300 DPI, because the pixel size they specific is already the preferred resolution for that product. :)
Thanks for the reply. They only give it in mm. 200 x 96. Find that difficult on kittl.
If I put in something like 5000 x 5000 px do you think that would work still?
😊
🙏
What px size do I use for a printful cup, it never turns out right, I can never seem to find px sizes for printful products
Hey there, Printful does have a guide showing the minimum and maximum for their products, but it looks like the basic small white mug, the design size is 9″ × 3.5″, but keep in mind it doesn't go all the way to the edge, so it's not an all-over-print.
@@Kittldesign Thank you
@Kittldesign I said this to someone else, but I am tempted to ask you a few more printful questions. You answer a hell of a lot faster than they do.
🙏
