    I own the same bike. Complete stock. I get around 23kmpl in Cities and 28 - 29kmpl is Highways. btw I was cruising at 100kmph.
    Regarding wobbling issues, I never take hands off of my handlebar at high speeds and at 80-100, it doesn't wobble at all. It's stable as a rock. But it wobbles left and right a bit at 160-170kmph even with hands on handlebar. it feels like you are this close to tank slapper.

    • @TurboDrag
      @TurboDrag  Год назад +1

      Yes, agree on the tank slapper part at one point one has to slow down to gain the control,
      you are getting great mileage though.

    Mileage is around 23 to 25 kmpl on highways or even more if one is able to maintain constant speed, with speed in range of 80 to 100 kmph. In city, if you are revv happy person then expect 16 to 18kmpl. Even if a sedate rider, but in lot of city traffic it will be around same 16 to 18kmpl. Btw i used to get approx 35 to 40kmpl on unicorn for my riding style.

    Crystal Clear review.👍
    Specific, genuine, clear.
    Which one is better for northeast tour,
    Machine & mod wise,
    Himalayan or interceptor 650?

    • @TurboDrag
      @TurboDrag  Год назад

      Thanks for the appreciation.
      For northeast I would personally prefer the Himalayan
      Reasons being-
      More fuel efficient + bigger tank = More Range.
      More space to put the luggage & jerry cans on.
      Will be way more comfortable than the Int 650 as the roads won't be the best there, so softer & longer travel suspension + adv riding ergonomics.
      And Himalayan's power will be sufficient for the hills, will feel underpowered on straight roads and/or overtaking, as I was not comfortable on Himalayan after 100 - 110 kmph.
      Hope it helped.
      PS : If you can wait the Himalayan 450 will be launched next year.

    Nice video but its too early to comment on reliability and performance that too in 3.5 months of ownership.
    And its never cheap and best.....if its cheap there is some compromise elsewhere.
    I own a 535 cc lightning ......2000 model.

    • @TurboDrag
      @TurboDrag  Год назад

      Thanks.
      Yes I totally Agee on reliability point, needs more time specially with RE, but looks like we have different opinions on understanding on performance point of view, this is not a high powered machine where you don't get much space to unleash all the power. For me this time frame is enough to understand the performance. (In case one has ridden the bike enough, which in this case I feel so), But again different people different perspective.
      Yes it's never cheap and best thus the negative points, and I didn't bother to add the lack to any tech looking at the price point.
      Nice, that's a big time rare machine. 👍👍

    • @TurboDrag
      @TurboDrag  Год назад +2

      That's a very unique question sir, usually every one will go for a louder one.
      But in my opinion stock one is the least loud exhaust, making it even quieter will chock the engine if in process the exhaust flow becomes more restricted.

    Hi, i enjoy watching your blog. Had a request from you. It's really a pain to remove tyre and fix it back. Please post some video related to puncture issues with Interceptor tyre punctures so that it reaches out to company and they work on availability of alloy wheels so that we can access tubeless tyres. Company will respond to influencers like you.

    • @TurboDrag
      @TurboDrag  Год назад

      Thank you for the appreciation, but the channel is too small yet for any company to consider for feedback.
      Wait for a little as Royal Enfield is about to launch a lot of accessories for 650 twins and alloy wheels are one of them. 👍 👍

    Now that the new super meteor came up.. can you still say interceptor is still a valid buy?

    • @TurboDrag
      @TurboDrag  Год назад +1

      Interesting question bro.
      And yes I will say that old twins will still be valid buy because :-
      Touring aspect will be stolen by the SM650 as it will be way more comfortable than both.
      But a fun aggressive ride on twisty roads will be still more fun on the old twins as a cruiser is happiest on a straight road, flickering the bike (though will have to ride first to get surety) will not be that easy as compared to the old ones.
      For me
      Continental :- Most fun to ride aggressively.
      Most uncomfortable on long rides.
      Super Meteor 650 :- Most comfortable of all three and the best to do touring on.
      Most lazy of all three to have some fun on the curvy roads and not so flickering friendly.
      Interceptor :- A little more comfortable than the continental, less comfortable than the SM650.
      But still keeps the fun aspect which the cruiser will loose.
      I am also in line to buy the Super Meteor, have also planned many videos with it and the twins. So stay tuned for updates 👍🏻

    I'm planning to upgrade to interceptor 650 from dominar 400 2019 model will it be a good decision?

    • @TurboDrag
      @TurboDrag  Год назад

      It depends on your riding need.
      I have a dominar 2018 and have ridden this interceptor many times.
      Yes interceptor has more power and refinement than the dominar.
      but dominar is way more comfortable and will be better suited for long rides overall.
      So if you do many Long tours, dominar it is.
      But other than that Interceptor has much more character, the engine feels more alive & It feels like a bigger bike ( Not size wise )
      PS :- At high speeds interceptor doesn't feel as stable as the dominar, but that's above 150.
      If touring is not much of your need, I will say go ahead for the interceptor, the bike won't disappoint you.
      FUN FACT :- Interceptor 650 is the best selling bike in UK in that category and have dumped the sales of triumph Street twin.
      I am also upgrading to super Meteor 650 to retain the touring aspect and get the fun of that beautiful 270º Inline twin.
      Hope you got your answer. 👍
      Do let me know if you want any other input.

    Shld i go for interceptor or wait for meteor 650?

    • @TurboDrag
      @TurboDrag  Год назад +1

      It Depends on your riding style.
      Engine will be same, at max it would come in a different state of tune.
      -- Meteor/thunderbirdx650 is a laid back cruiser and will more comfortable for highway cruise.
      -- Interceptor 650 will be more fun on hilly roads because its more flickable, more top speed friendly than the cruiser and easier to ride in city.
      -----------
      It's a Cafe Racer vs Cruiser situation.
      -----------
      Test Ride Meteor 350 and interceptor 650 and think of what makes you more happy with the riding style.
      in meanwhile ride all the cruisers you can get your hand on.
      PS : Meteor 650 seems to be even more laid back than the 350.
      If you still can't make your decision I would suggest you to wait as these new 650 twins (Thunderbird X 650 & Shotgun 650) are excepted by end of this year.
      Hope this helped a little.
      Ride Safe 👍
