Este maravilloso violonista.le conoci personalmente en la ciudad de Bois Colombes..Vino a tocar para nosotros obreros de la empresa Hispano Suiza...y nos facino por su sencillez y simpatia...ademas de regalarnos ..varias sonatas para violin y piano de Beethoven...magnifico recuerdo .Esto fue en 1968...
Ivry Gitlis is a true credit to the human race in a number of ways. A great many musicians I've known over the years are not all that well educated or intellectual. Heifetz's level of reading, for example, was Reader's Digest. Michael Rabin's hobby was model airplanes. Gitlis is an Aristotle among musicians. He is also among my top 10 favorite violinists. This man is never boring, not even when he speaks in French (which I don't understand). Thanks for this precious video!
