Hey friends! Many of you are wondering why I need a colonoscopy at such a young age?? I get it! Here I explain why --> ruclips.net/video/pEU512J3djU/видео.html
I had my first colonoscopy at 13, and am having another Tuesday. Age doesn’t prevent everything unfortunately 😅
@@keribere244 Totally! Good luck on your next one!
Buy a bag of lemons, cut up the lemons, bite into a lemon then immediately chug as much prep as you can then bite into another lemon wedge BEFORE you take a breath. You don’t really taste it until you take a breath so you must bite the lemon prior to taking a breath after the chug.
Oh BRILLIANT!!!! I love this tip!! Thank you for sharing ❤
I'll be holding my nose too. Like I did many years ago while drinking a 7 day cleanse fiber packet.
But burping it up after it tasted like compost clippings and lake water.
This is my 2nd time. And I think I figured out how to describe the taste and how it coats the tongue and mouth. Bile. It tastes like bile. It coats the mouth like bile.
That's exactly what I do! The gallon of stuff we used to have to drink every 15 min was so much worse, and it was named "go lightly" lol
I keep a bottle of lemon juice with a little salt to chase the taste away.
Your face and reaction at 5:25, along with your dog growling, is priceless. Thanks for this video. My first is next week. NEVER thought I'd be googling colonoscopy prep videos!
You're a gem for doing this. So many folks find this embarrassing but this open conversation helps
Thank you. We're not looking forward to this, but you made my wife's journey a bit easier. May your kindness come back to you.
Hey, just had mine 2 days ago. Watched your video before and it was chill and really helpful. The Plenvu prep is a little tough but not too bad. It really works! Procedure was not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. I appreciate the info. Thanks.
You are very helpful and fun to watch. Thank you for doing this.
Thanks for the tips! Very helpful!! Great video.
The best method I found was to buy TINY ICE CUBE trays, freeze the solution and then simply swallow the tiny cubes. The cubes are quite small and can be easily swallowed. There is no liquid to coat your mouth or tongue, so the awful taste is avoided.
Also, as suggested use some flavor drinks to help as well and pace yourself when swallowing the cubes.
I've never seen tiny ice cube trays. Which store would carry that?
@@sethsims812 Amazon carries them.
You're adorable! So perky and happy and I felt less stressed about my first colonoscopy after watching your awesome video! Thank you for making this!!!😊
Ikr?! Even the Christmas tree in the background reminding me of Christmas ha! I'm WAY less positive with this than she is... I'm sitting here tonight thinking "omg I'm gonna friggin STARVE myself nauseas!" And then I'm like "please... think about people going on hunger strikes. And you even get to eat beef broth and Jell-O for Godsake." 🙄
Kayla, you are the best!! This is awesome!
I just love your positivity and your so light hearted. You have taken all the anxiety out the procedure. I can just hear you saying. You've got this. Cheers. Chug and Chase love it.
Thank you!! I'm so happy that resonates across the screen!!
I'm having mines in a few days. Thank you this was very helpful and informative 👍👍
You are MARVELOUS!!! Thank you! I especially appreciated "cold - but not TOO cold!" AHA!!! THANKS again!
I'm having my first colonoscopy in the morning. I came across you channel and looking through the comments for all the tips. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the positive encouragement! I am working on my “ morning of “ prep- I didn’t use a straw til late yesterday and it makes it much easier thanks for the great demo !
I'm so happy it helped!!
So cute. Helpful tips. Thanks!
When I did mine 5 years ago, I poured mine over a few ice cubes in the glass. So, it was Golytely on the rocks. The straw definitely helps. Cold Golytely + Straw = Rock & Roll. I get to do another one here in the next month.
I have my colonoscopy in two weeks and every trick is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for sharing your specific choices and the reason for them, specially no red-purple-pink gelatins.
Thanks for the tips! have my first colonoscopy next week and kind of nervous about the prep. Glad I found your video!
Same here, I am more nervous about having the prep than the actual examination.
I’m getting ready to have my first colonoscopy. I appreciate your video
You are Great. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you!!!! Anything helps. I have to do these every year and really struggle with the prep.
Spot on and thank you. Rather than use tap water I used spring water from bottles 🤷♂️. It was as horrible as you said and apple juice chaser was my choice. These vids help those of us doing it for the first time.
Lol watching your video while drinking mine. Kinda makes it easier when I see others doing same thing 😂
Haha yes!! I love this! We are in it together! haha
Just making mine up in a sec , it does feel better to not be doing it alone
@@leah7729 Good luck!! I hope your colonoscopy goes smoothly! I always dream about the meal I am going to have after! Usually, it's a big ol bacon cheeseburger... mmm.
Lol I have mine tomorrow, this sucks 😭
Thank you for making this! I am having my first one in a couple days. They gave me PlenVu to drink. I plan on definitely getting it cold and having Powerade as a chaser.
Omg chica, I'm doing my colonoscopy prep right now and it feels less bad watching other people doing it, too! Thanks for the tips, too! I appreciate you, best wishes!
Me too
Thank you for Sharing 🙂🥰🥰. I'm going to have my Colonoscopy on Thursday April 20. 2023.
Great tips! Thank you
Thank you so much! I failed drinking the prep before but I really need to get my procedure done!
Me too . I’m drinking the prep now . No sleep ! 😭
You're a champ it takes me 2 hours to finish the 2 litres
Oh my goodness, you are so adorable, sorry you have to have these tests. You’re very helpful
Great video, fun and informative.
Thank you. 🤪
Thank you! Your cheerfulness has made me less fearful. I am also chasing with white grape 🧃 juice. Also I was told I could suck on a Werther’s Original Hard Candy during drinking as long - as you don’t swallow it!
Thank you! I have mine tomorrow and was so nervous.
I am a chipper and upbeat person but you sure got me beat girl. Great video!
Haha Thank you Kyle!
Great video. And that jacket is super dope!
Thank you! I competed in a body building competition 4 years ago and won first place in the novice (beginner) bikini division!
I’m about to go for my first colonoscopy and this made me feel a lot better 😭♥️ you’re so bubbly and cheerful!
How did it go !?
@@ccalexander1924 tbh very painful almost didn’t make it through but I’m just glad it’s over, thanks for asking☺️
Too adorable. Love the chipper attitude. I've got a few behind me and had to choke down magnesium citrate(now recalled). This is my first with "Golytely". They don't get easier but certainly worth the trouble as opposed to blowing it off and possibly hearing the worst news down the road. Good luck!
Thank you for watching and for your kind comment 🥰 100% every one is just as gross as the last, but worth it to have a clear mind!
You’re adorable & you actually make drinking that yucky stuff probable. Great tips! Thanks !
Thank you for calming my nerves your so upbeat and sound like you did great after having it done!💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💕💕💕💕
I had my procedure recently and it was sooooooo easy the prep is the only hard part😍😍😍😍😍😍.....i recommend it for everyone it can save your life.....!! I would also suggest to use flushable hygiene wipes because you can get some from going so much......👈👈👈👈👈👈😶😶😶😶😶😶😶😍😍😍😍😍😍
@@bubbalashmeer3591 brilliant!! Never thought to use wipes... but that would definitely help the bum from getting too chafed!! I agree- the prep is the hardest part!
Thank you so much. This is my 4th colonoscopy in total. But this one is a kind of quick follow up to the last one, which I had in September. They didn't like something they saw, so now they're rechecking. So, needless to say, I'm nervous. And I've never ever done well with the yucky drink stuff....but you have given me hope that I will do better this time! CHUG 'N CHASE. Keep me in your thougths and wish me luck. And THANK YOU!!!
I'm sorry that they're making you go in for another one. I really hope that they don't find anything serious. I'm going for my first one in early February because my FIT test came out positive so I'm nervous as well. All the best to you and keep us posted okay?
@@CoreenKendrick , my FIT test came back abnormal too and noow I am terrified for my colonoscopy in November. Hope all is well.
Hope all goes well for you, John, Coreen, and Jennifer! 🤞🏾
Lord I pray you touch John body and keep your living arms around him in Jesus name amen
Thanks for helping! Your video was great!
Thank you!
Helpful, thanks.
I found that adding 4 single serving size Crystal Lite Lemonade packets to the mixture makes it much less yucky. The lemonade packets give it a yellowish color, which according to the prep literature is fine to drink. Just no red flavors, Fruit Punch, etc.
Thanks for this video! My procedure is next week and I've had them before, but always get that apprehension leading up to it (like it's the first time all over again...weird?)Your video is a great help for so many having to go through the same thing.
I totally understand that! I appreciate you leaving a comment :) Good luck on your procedure next week!
I’m doing my prep right now!
Also, hope that you are feeling better soon.
Excellent advice, which I happened to take during last week's procedure. I despaired of getting 'clear' in time for my noontime appointment, so I began chugging two hours earlier than intended in the morning. I'm so glad I did.
"Bottom's up!" LOL!
You cheered me up while I'm doing mine!
This is the best tip I have 6 colonoscopy and this time the yucky test is better. 👍👍
Yay! That's great to hear!
You are so brave. I will take this into consideration.... gotta drink this in a few hours. Im dreading it. Last time it took me several hours first bottle but the second one since I wanted to continue sleeping a little longer I finished it pretty quick...
Eek! I hope it went well!!
Thank you for the video. I have my first colonoscopy next week so I’m watching videos to get some tips. My co worker just had one and said it has the most disgusting taste ever. I’m going to store tomorrow to get the Gatorade to try this trick. The jug looks HUGE. I am a very slow drinker so this is going to be very hard for me but the video helps. I’m getting broth and jello etc to have two nights before so all I eat is broth and jello and water and plain coffee for at least two days before starting this prep . I have read to stay away from certain things like nuts , fruits , veggies , beans and red meats 5 days before colonoscopy. I can’t wait for this to be over
Awesome, thanks for the tips. Am scheduled about a week from now. My first. P.s. tell your husband he's a lucky guy!
Thank you sooo much ! I was searching tricks to stop gagging the liquide. To chase the taste with something else realy help. For the cold I have a heated blancket and it soothing.
I read on someone’s blog they run a hot bath and hop in and out of it between doses of the cold liquid. (Using baby wipes too lol) Also hot tea. (Or broth)
Thank you so much!! i've never had any type of procedure/surgery done before and I'm having my first ever colonoscopy & endoscopy in a few days so I'm feeling super nervous, but this really helped calm me down! Also just wanted to say you're stunning!! xx
Good!! I'm happy it helped! I hope your colonoscopy and endoscopy went well!! Thank you so much!
@@blessedforever8172 hi! so i've actually had two colonoscopies since my comment and i just have to say you have nothing to be nervous about!! the prep is pretty unpleasant, not going to lie but thats the worst of it and its over before you know it. i ended up having different preps for each colonoscopy, one worked better than the other and they were super intense, i think one of them was PLENVU, but i surprisingly never experienced any cramping or pain! i hope this helped, good luck with your procedures, wishing you all the best! :)
I'm having both too and I'm really scared.
@@user-bc8nz1xd4h theres really nothing to worry about i promise! the diet before hand and the prep is annoying but the procedure itself is a breeze
OMG You are just thee cutest perkiest thing everrr! Thanks for the fun tutorial.
haha thank you!!
I took your advice and used a straw which was a big help. I tried drinking without the straw and got much more of the terrible flavor. My grocery store paper straw was quite small in diameter and I think one of the plastic straws which is larger would be better but still any straw is better than none.
The paper straws make me cringe lol only because they disintegrate so quickly haha
U talking about how to disguise the taste made it easier I was distracted by u thx btw
Thank you !
Thanks beautiful you help me a lot I have mine on Tuesday
Like so many others, I was dreading the prep. After watching your video i felt less nervous. I tried it plain and with some crystal lite lemonade flavor. The crystal lite glass was disgusting! I struggled to get it down. After that I did it plain, with a spoonful of prepared jello as a chaser. It tasted like slightly salty water, it wasn't so bad. The actual "clearing of the colon" wasn't so bad either, but I was happy to have a bidet. The procedure itself was mildly uncomfortable, I expected to be more out of it but I was totally awake. the nurse, doctor and I had some fun conversation. All in all I feel pretty lucky. Thanks for your video!
Oh my gosh you were awake for that? I hope they knock me the heck out! But maybe the fact that I've never had surgery, never been put under, or never so much as had an IV will help with that matter.
@@Lavenderrose73 best of luck!
I don't have a bidet, thanks for the information
The prep can be done with Gatorade, Miralax and Dulcolax, which are OTC meds. I used the Sutab bowel prep pill, which is a prescription. Midazolam (aka Versed) and fentanyl, or " moderate sedation", is common in the U.S. for colonoscopies. Don't get nervous because you just read fentanyl. It has legitimate, practical uses in the medical profession for these types of applications. No anxiety, no pain and no memory of the event. Very well-tolerated at the appropriate dosage. I believe a regular doctor can administer this sedation or "twilight." Another common sedation method with a great safety profile is Propofol. An anesthesiology professional should administer Propofol and monitor you carefully during the time you are unconscious. Keep in mind both options are good, but there are slight differences. Of course, insurance companies don't want to pay for anesthesiology professionals, but they are needed here. I can't understand how insurance companies, the government and HMO's get away with causing needless suffering to patients. Please be informed of your colonoscopy options for prep and when to demand an anesthesiology professional be present during a procedure. I don't know if this is actually true, but I read that 80% of the colonoscopies done in the world are done with no sedation. In this instance, I don't care what everybody else is doing. I feel sorry for that 80% and don't agree that it's fine to go without. If it's me having to let someone root around in my intestines through my anus? I want twilight sedation.
I go for my first one ever in my life. I was more anxious about the solution than the procedure! This helped so much and you gave some awesome tips. Thank you
I start prep tomorrow, will I be able to take a shower in between bathroom visits? Was it the worst?
@@Dogbiteskill I had a shower before bed and the morning of the procedure. Didn’t effect anything so I don’t see why not. The actual procedure I was asleep, some slight discomfort and was groggy from sedation. But it was fast and I was lovely to eat again. Good luck
I have my 1st one this Thursday and I'm DREADING it. At least watching you being so "chipper" and "positive" makes me feel more comfortable and relaxed. Thank you !!!!!
i know same here, mine is tommarrow morning and its my first too.ughhh.
@@mobee7613, well I had mine about 10 days ago. Honestly, I worried over nothing. Believe me, they are all professionals, and the things "we worry about", ala what if I have to "go" or still have some fluid in me, they see every day. The nurse goes "oh don't worry about that. We just suction it out. It's normal. Every one will still have some fluid". They made me feel sooooo at ease and comfortable. Honestly, after it was all over, I was amazed (and relieved obviously) at how easy it truly was. They called me in, nurse left me a gown to change into and once I came out, she had me get on the bed and she started my IV, took vitals, and then Anastasiologist came in, introduced himself cheerfully, and explained what would take place, and asked if I had any questions. Than my female endoscopic doctor came in, introduced herself, check my vitals, asked if I had any questions. Than they both left and my nurse than wheeled me into the procedure room. There was my Anastasiologist and a 2nd nurse. They helped me get into position, lay on my left side and put my right leg over my left leg, propped my head up with a pillow and than my Anastasiologist started pushing lidocaine into my IV to help numb my vein as the propofol I was get can be extremely painful sometimes when it's pushed thru the IV. So about 3 minutes later, without me even catching what he was doing, I suddenly and very quickly felt my head start to get real heavy and I remember asking him "hey what did you just give me" and it was very difficult to get the words out and I could tell I was going out, and last thing I remember was him saying "I just started the propofol". Next thing I know I'm being wheeled into recovery. I NEVER felt a single thing. To be honest, if I didn't feel a little bit of "slippery" oil (KY) between my legs, I would never have known I had ANYTHING done. Within 15 minutes I was ready to get up out of bed and go home. I've got to say, Propofol is AMAZING. No nausea, no hang over feeling, and you feel completely normal very, very, quickly. By the time I got home, about 1 hour from being wheeled out of the procedure room, I felt perfectly fine.
My results were good, no polyps, no cancer, nothing out of the ordinary except my terrible stage 3 hemorrhoids which I now have an appointment with a surgeon. This is definitely going to be a lot worse than the colonoscopy.
So relax, don't worry too much. It's wayyyyy easier than I ever expected. One other thing too, I had absolutely ZERO "gas" or "cramping". Zero. Nada. Nil. My doctor must've done a great job removing the air/nitrogen they use because I didn't need to pass gas or feel bloated at all. It's definitely worth saving your life. Best wishes !!!!
@@Drewg351 Thank you so much for easing my concerns, honestly the whole thing was worrying me, but I'll calm myself down now and try to drink this prep, maybe trying to drink this stuff IS the worst part lol. I'm so happy you got good results back, thank goodness!! Thanks again Drew! ❤❤❤
@@Drewg351 Very informative! Thanks! Did you have rubber band ligation of the hemorrhoids? How was it?
@Kle Paraskevas , well my situation changed drastically. I had my colonoscopy done in early April, no polyps, everything was good accept for "large internal hemorrhoids". So I went to see the hemmoroid doctor who did an exam, anuscope, etc... and diagnosed as large, internal, stage 3 hemorrhoids circumferential or all around. She went and conferred with a colorectal surgeon to see if banding might help, but they both said they were pessimistic it would work because I had so much tissue prolapsing. But my only other choice was hemmoroidectomy surgery so I said "let's try the banding". She banded one hemmoroid that day and it hurt badly. By the time I got home I felt like I had to go to the bathroom. As usual, my hemmoroids prolapsed and the band fell right off. I called the doctor and she said "yea, I wasn't very optimistic it would work, so I'm going to refer you to the surgeon".
I got in to see the surgeon a month later, late May, who did another exam and he told me "you have ALOT of tissue there, and your anal canal is very, very, short. Males normally have a 2.5" - 3.0" long anal canal but yours is less than half that, or about 1.00" long. This is going to make the surgery / hemmoroidectomy very risky. I don't want to make a bad situation worse. If I remove all this tissue then you may have fecal incontinence problems and I don't want that to happen to you. There's a very good chance when I get you on the operating table that I decide not to go thru with the procedure."
This scared me to death !!!!
So I decided to go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for a 2nd opinion. I saw another hemmoroid specialist who did another exam and she diagnosed large, internal hemorrhoids, but seemed hesitant. She told me she wanted to confer with their surgeon who deals with very unique colorectal problems and she'd be back in a few minutes. I waited 25 minutes and when she came back, everything changed quickly. She told me: "you don't need hemmoroid surgery and this isn't hemmoroids you're suffering from. Unfortunately it's more complex and you need surgery ASAP. You have a rectal prolapse and the surgery involves going through your abdomen and using sutures and mesh, we'll reattach the rectum which has torn from your sacrum / tailbone. You need a full battery of tests done today which will include: MRI Proctogram Defecography, Anorectal Manometry, blood tests, EKG, and several more pre-op clearance tests. You'll have surgery next week and be in the hospital anywhere from 3 - 7 days depending upon how you feel, and how quickly you regain bowel function, especially if we have to remove part of your colon or rectum. You're looking at 6 - 12 weeks off of work, depending upon your job, as you cannot lift anything heavier than 10 pounds for awhile."
I just sat there, stunned and perplexed. I wasn't expecting to receive a completely different diagnosis, let alone have it as severe as this. I asked her how could all these other doctors misdiagnose my condition ?? She explained that rectal prolapse is quite rare, especially in men, even more so in young men. Even at Mayo Clinic which is world renowned and the number 1 rated hospital in the US, they don't see this but a few times a year and it's easily misdiagnosed as internal hemorrhoids. I asked her why it's so urgent to have surgery ?? She explained that I've been suffering from this for close to 2 years, it's only going to continue to get worse, prolapse more, continue to bleed more, and surgery is the only option to fix it. If I wait, there's a myriad of issues that could turn this into an emergency situation, especially if the prolapse gets stuck outside, causing a loss of blood supply and gangrene or necrosis of this rectal tissue. She went on to say that hemmoroids are more of a nuisance but aren't an emergency. Rectal prolapse is more severe and complex and will continue to get worse with time. It needs to be fixed ASAP.
I was unprepared to be there all day and to have surgery the following week, let alone be out of work anywhere from 6 - 12 weeks, so I had to reschedule. I'm now having all these tests done this Friday, 8/13 and looking at surgery the following week. I'm dreading these tests. The colonoscopy was a breeze compared to this MRI Proctogram Defecography (they fill you with some kind of paste and you have a BM inside an MRI machine) and Anorectal Manometry (put a catheter in your rectum with a balloon attached and fill it with water to different levels and you try to expel it). You can search RUclips if you truly want to see the worst possible, most embarrassing tests available.
Sorry for the very long post.
Thanks good FYI video.
an extra Miralax bottle in case you puke is a good idea... no need to spoil it all... mix another up. I've done it twice and puked twice... 1st round and the 2nd. and it does 'taste terrible'. best cold. use with real lemonade and chase with green gator aid.
I wish I had seen this a month ago! Lol My drink wasn’t so bad. I had to add 8oz of powdered (tasteless) Miralax to several bottles of Gatorade. It was doable.
Thank you 🙏
That face you made is hilarious 😂
Thank you
Thank you so much! I’m getting my first colonoscopy ever, at 32, in two days. The prep scared me until I watched this. 😅
I get mines tomorrow , I'm 32 as well 😊 good luck 👍🏽
I had my first one at age 38 several Mondays ago
Thx for the tips. I'm getting one tomorrow. Today's day before. I'm worried
Thank you Kayla will be preparing tomorrow and On Wednesday is the day July 10
Thank you I’m very nervous about the drinking part.
Thanks, it was good to see the real life experience before I do it.
Great information! Are you able to eat any breakfast food in the early morning the day before your procedure? I had heard that eggs may be ok.
thanks for sharing it's just what I was doing except mixing it in ...the straw tip might give that a try....my 3rd time around doesn't get easier!!! YUK!
The straw makes a huge difference! Passes by those taste buds that way!
I add a packet of lemonade Crystal light to mine and it was great
Oh YES! Good idea!!
I'm watching this eating lemon jello, and my butt feels like it chewed up a dozen lit road flares. Cant wait for this to be over. Great video by the way
ooofta!! I can totally feel that! lol Glad you are on the other side now!!
God Bless and heal you.
Omg u are a hero , i have a colon test tomorrow and have drink half cup of the med, my dr said i need to drink 4 packs, the second cup is so hard i gag every time i drink its 8:30 pm now and i have 2 more pack beside the one am trying to finish right to :( last one should be at 10 pm bc i have to fast at 11 pm. 😩
🙏🏾 💙
Ugh yes I gaged and almost threw up several different times while I was doing my prep
Drinking it now it's brutal this is my 2nd time in 4yrs it's never changed ud think they could work on flavor it's so bad but remember it could save your life.
Can you take sickness tablets before taking the prep? I suffer with Emetaphobio. I am absolutely terrified!😢 Thanks for your video.
Great presentation, I got lost in the details, I missed where you added the package.
I've hear wait 30 -45 minutes to allow the nausea to pass.
Thank you for the tips!
I start chugging and chasing in 4 hours!
I feel ya drinking the prep was the grossly part of my prep I had to drink 36 ounces it equal 56 ounces I had the worst experience afterwards my stomach was so horrible I pooped on my sheets and my clothes I had to drink it at 3am every 30 minutes my wonderful dad stayed up with me all night long supporting me during my prep and it was horrible I got so dehydrated to the point my hands legs and arms were cramping all day long I recommend you drink lots of power aid afterwards I ignored the fact I was so dehydrated and I still feel horrible even 72 hours after I got dehydrated due to my procedure on Monday morning I had never experienced this before I was scared something was horribly wrong with my body luckily my dad was home with me and was able to help me get rehydration I'm still alittle light headed and dizzy I hope everything went well for yours I hated the fact that i couldn't eat I was starving I was an trooper through mine I want never to taste that powder again it was an whole big thing of it😢
oh no! that sounds terrible!! Thank goodness your dad was there for you!!
I was drinking Citrafleet earlier, it’s really nice, no weird yuk taste at all. My god, my butt hurts already, the salts are burning the skin. Sudocrem needed inbetween bathroom visits (up to 6 time in 2hr so far]
But when I took mine it cured me in one day only and I was recovering faster than I expected to.
I had mine done yesterday and thank God I'm good for 10 years. But that prep is no joke! Every time I took a sip to wanted to puke!! It's gross I felt like I was going to die!!! Btw you are so beautiful!
Right?! It's so gross!! I'm happy you have another 10 years before you have to do it again! Thank you :)
The way I managed my prep solutions was using lucozade. Take a mouthful of lucozade and then a mouthful of the prep at the same time. That allowed me to swallow a decent amount at a time without gagging or being sick
Ooh! Good suggestion!!
Omg. This was so helpful... but almost 3 hours later I haven't gone & I literally threw up after the 6th glass ...I just hope it doesnt affect it. I have 2 more glasses before I get a 7hour break 😔
Are you measuring the ounces. Drinking too much?
What time are you Supposed to drink it when you get the procedure?
5:25 i know it sucks for you but this was funny AF 😂
Haha I'm glad it was entertaining!! Gotta have fun with things that suck to get through them!!
haha
Thank you honey! Yukkie is right!
Can you use gatorade instead of water with the laxative mix?
Thanks for the tip got my Gatorade lime and much better 👍
Hi Kayla...John again. In reading through the comments I got to the one about the fellow with the headache and you mentioned dehydration. And I learned something from that exchange, I think. So, are you saying that besides the "poison" they make us drink, I can also drink as much water as I want during the day? The yucky stuff isn't the ONLY thing I can drink. If that's the case, it makes me very happy. Thanks again.
Sorry John, just seeing your comment now! Yes! You can absolutely drink as much water as you'd like throughout the day! Thank goodness :)
Had one last week. Chugging didn't work for me, had to sip slowly while sucking ice cubes. Chased it with sips of ginger ale
I've got to have a colonoscopy today and started drinking the prep last night and more this morning and it was nasty but got through it.
