Didn’t his fur cover his eyes too like Caesar’s? At the end of the day they both punched out their time cards, too. Or was it the fox whose name was Ralph?
@@carlosb1, congratulations to us! It's been 4yrs. for me, and I only missed the damn thing for the first couple of months. The flat screen is 60" but I do miss the soundboard system, but big deal! I'd rather watch an aquarium and some music. Please stay healthy and safe!

I’m 61 now. I remember watching almost every episode of Dave and I NEVER MISSED Stupid Pet Tricks. Sad to think a lot of these people are gone now. Too funny his dog Wolfie changed his mind! 🤣
If my yellow lab were presented with two bowls, each containing a hamburger, his trick would have been how quickly he could have snarfed them both down his gullet.
Lol! We got our 1st lab (mix) 7 years ago. The 1st few months he was a bit out of control, chewing up kids retainers, glasses, cords, you name it. The vet told us, “He’s a Lab, they actually have a unique ‘food gene’ they’ve found that makes them do anything you want, even more so than other breeds. It’s why you often see overweight labs.” Sure enough we started using treats more, and he’ll do Anything you say now with zero hesitation 😂 even for just a kibble of his dog food. He’s the sweetest boy to everyone including his new little lab mix sister
I think you’re talking about my yellow Lab, Ginger. She could scarf down a burger in a split second. She even got her very own burger from MacDonalds for part of her dinner on our last night together, 6 years this coming June. She also got a sirloin steak! She was almost 14, a bit old for a large breed, and my very best friend and constant companion. She had a vocabulary of over 100 words, and would grab her special “babies”, doggy toys, from a huge pile, all by name, one at a time, as requested by me. Best dog ever! Miss my sweet girl!
@@Momcat_maggiefelinefanAww, thanks for sharing. We have a black lab that is so so gentle with our toddler. They have the sweetest bond. Labs are one of the best dogs, which is saying a lot because all dogs are so darn good.
Once we had a neighbor with a golden retriever. She was always bringing sticks, pine cones, and tennis balls that she wanted to fetch. She could do 3 too, kept trying for 4 but never got it. On the rare occasions that it would snow, I would throw a snowball for trick. Once the snowball hit the ground it would disappear....and the dog ended up shaking her head in disbelief, lol.
I have a cat that loves to pick up toys and carry them around. I once saw him pick up six toys at once and carry them into my office to play with them.
I love that. My late cat Felix was an unusually sociable cat and he walked on a leash. He also played a bloodhound named Killer in a play once. I miss him a lot. 🐱🐈😿
I had a yard full of kids, and a English Springer Spaniel. He could hold 3 balls in his mouth, so they had to play with 4....and they were all slimy. He was a happy boy too!!!
Back when life was alot of fun. Looked forward to watching when he was really funny and did alot of off beat non political comedy. I sure miss David Letterman.
He's still around! Not daily, unfortunately, but he has his Netflix interview show and other things he has done for them, his (I mean, Barbara's) channel which he appears on from time to time. He makes appearances on talk shows and podcasts. I'm grateful he didn't totally disappear.
Been binge watching Pet Tricks on Letterman, that last dog Ceasar was amazing (beautiful too - never seen or heard of that breed). Agro & Woofy made me laugh, my old dog Baron got overly excited on more than one ball and became stuck in a loop dropping one to pick up the other. He'd also eat a whole bowl of food, yet leave the broccoli untouched
Never lean down and smile into a strange dogs face while reaching for it. Always offer the back of your hand first and go from there. I'm surprised he's never been bit.
funny how his intro spiel here still retains elements of his very first intro to pet tricks back on his day show in 1980. his first intro to pet tricks on late night was even more similar to the 1980 version which he played quite straight in smooth (ish) show host style but with some dave jabs like the prescient "history is being made here"...
Wolfie ~5 min, is just being oppositional, picked the McDonald’s cheeseburger on purpose, and can barely stand eating it 😂 He’ll go back home and nail the trick another 100 times. God I miss Letterman

Caesar looks like his dad was a bear and his mom was a schnauzer. What a good boy!!
at first because of the quality i actually thought it was a bear until they zoomed in LMAO
I thought a Neuph/Schnauzer Mix.

Love Caesar and his owner’s laid back attitude, and great team work.
Dave’s love for dogs always came through in these segments. Thanks Don!
Damn!! A year too late with my comment.
This was back when it was still fun to watch late night television.
Except for a few old program reruns I don't watch tv anymore to much woke shit it is over for me.
Yes before it became so “PC”
That totally blows my joy high

i do not miss having a TV. But, man Oh man, I miss David Letterman. One of a kind.

One of the best things letterman had on his show, stupid pet tricks! Nothing can bring a smile to your face like a dog can!
3-balls-dog got the most real laugh I've ever heard from Letterman.
The best was the dog who played dead. Best laugh ever!
@marichiarra8495 plus a great trick.
RIP to all these dogs. They were fantastic, especially Cesar.

Dave loves dogs, you can tell because he wants to pet them. People that love dogs are the best people.
Notice how Dave's instinctive reaction to Ceasar falling off the stick was to steady him as he landed
3 tennis balls! That was cuteness overload

I thought the last dog was bear too. It definitely reminds me of a circus bear when he balances on the plank.
I saw a black bear do that on a guard rail by a highway once. Looked like he was just watching the cars go by.
