In the USA they're known as parakeets. In Australia (and the rest of the world) they're called Budgerigars. However, they share the same scientific name, therefore their taxonomy is precisely the same.
@@lozbailey9322 She said the bird was her daughter's pet. She wasn't being very responsible with him. I used to have parakeets and that upset me. I hope he is safely caught and returned to his owner.
