I’ve Been using ur bodyweight exercise program and am now on phase 4 and omg it’s a killer!! Highly recommend it, I feel stronger, more energetic and my shoulder pain is gone now that I’m doing the push ups the right way! Thank u for all u do!!
As much as I agree with all of this let's not forget that your morning ritual is strictly dependent on your evening ritual. If you slept badly or shortly it's not important what you do in the morning. Having said that, I like the idea of some stretches in bed just after waking up. I'll try to do that. It sounds beyond convenient. :)
You can still be less groggy despite lacking sleep because of this though. Better than just getting up and grumbling towards the kitchen 😂This is coming from someone who pulls all-nighters every time.
Unlike most guys everywhere showing off their muscular body, you have such a nice way of displaying yourself. A normal, very supple body and very harmonious. An inspiration to the well-being without selling the sexy image we are sick of seeing all the time. Good work Alex.
Going for a short 10 min run in the morning changed my life. Not enough to make you tired, just enough to get the juices flowing. It's a huge boost for energy and mood throughout the day. I'm so much more productive and happy all day when I run in the morning.
I do that on my rest days. Partially because I'm desperately trying to fit a run into my schedule, and I love it. Just enough to wake me up and start the day like you said. Better than just rolling out of bed, and getting ready for work.
Germans take the forefront of innovation in Europe and always have. Peak performance is hardwired into the culture. I think their diets played an integral role in their culture’s success. Sauerkraut, Raw foods, and other fermented veggies along w lots of meat and seasonal fruits and vegetables seems like the key to the german tanks of the 1900s.
4 Steps for good mornings: 1. don't snooze - hit snooze max 1 time -put alarm in the other side of the room 2. Drink less coffee -start the day with cold water 3. Work out in the morning -include mobility training in morning ritual fx when snoozing og brushing teeth 4. Breakfast -If hungry eat breakfast -if not, don't eat breakfast
It is the first time that I have a morning routine that perfectly alings with your tips. Except the mobility routine. I used to follow your previous mobility routine that you guys posted back in 2016 or 2017. Thanks for the great update 🙂
Fighting your depressions and your ego (mostly all the anxieties that we don't have time to dig out and understan helps alot and is mostly the reason for being unhealthy and sleepy in the first place. Really nice channel and helpful, thank you.
Following CaliMove nutrition plan I decided to quit caffeine in one shot. It worked, I feel more energetic now, with no afternoon crashes. Even training performance has improved. Quit or a least caffeine reduction highly recommended!
Loved those morning mobility routines! No excuses not to do them anywhere 😁. Also, that kip up you did right at the beginning - PLEASE do a tutorial on how to get that move. It's so cool and a really good explosive posterior chain movement
Man I really like these videos. Morning routine to me has become a habit since I returned to the university and they are all in-person classes. You guys made my school year awesome simply because of the free mobility videos. I find them helpful but I was finally able to do my handstand hold for 6 seconds.
I first watched this video when it released, and today I finally tried out the morning mobility routine. This is small achievement but also a big step for me. I am grateful for the wealth of knowledge and positive, flexible focus this channel has. I hope to improve my flexibility/mobility for the lying torsions, adductor stretches and easy bridge 🌞
I move accross the room and chill in a recliner after hitting the snooze. I also have a 15 minute snooze that i use to time each morning activity. It's just a light beep every 15 minutes to guage my timing with. First beep after chilling in the chair Second beep fully showered and dried off. Third beep fully dressed and out the door with coffee in hand. I'm usually done way before each beep but it helps on the slow groggy days and it keeps me from rushing each activity. I hate being in a hurry.
Sleep as Android is a great app to let you decide how many times or how long you'd allow yourself to snooze. It certainly doesn't shut up if you activate captchas like exposing it to bright light for a certain time, scanning an NFC tag or solving math problems. I have been using it for years and loving it.
Another good piece of advice for getting up early for a walk or a jog is to sleep in the clothes you plan on running or walking in. It works well on cold winter mornings especially.
Note to self: Mobility training in the Morning is ---- Left side, 20 sec each. Single Knee Tuck Lying Torsion ----> again on the right side Pike Sit 30 sec. Pike Sit reach 30 sec. including left and right Upward Dog 30 sec. Shoulder Stretch 30 sec. ---- Left side, 20 sec each. Elevated Lunge Quad Stretch Adductor Stretch Pigeon Stretch ----> again on the right side Easy Bridge 30 sec. Total: 390 sec. without the transitions. I've wanted a short morning routine I don't need to change too often and that simply works to wake me up, thanks guys.
Thank you for the very good tips. Though I have been applying them in my routine, I have recently added physical exercises and it helps to feel energised throughout the day. However, do you have any advice to help morning physical stiffness? I am doing okay with walking, but if it is yoga or what you showed for mobility, I am so stiff that it results in pain (with half day to recover). Surprisingly, when I try the same exercises later in the day, I am doing fine.
Hi Alex I am following your stretching routines for more than two years now and recommend it to everyone. Very simple, doable and really practical. And this video is very good and for those who want to start working out but feel drained in the morning. So very simple and practical tips again
In the UK a company called whole earth does natural imitation coffee made with chicory which tastes like the real thing. A great way to still enjoy the taste of coffee without the negative effects

Apparently not having a partner or family. put the alarm to the other end of the room, waking up the whole house :) Stretching while brushing teeth. What's to brush in the morning? I rarely brush, only floss after dinner. Not eating sugar helps. Apart from that, good tips. I include most of my stretches in my breakfast squat. I can get out of bed and be ready to leave home inside of 30 minutes. I like to stretch that to an hour though and tend to get up early. due to shift work, the earliest time I can get to bed consistently is 10:30 pm, so I get up at 5:30 everyday. anyhow, thanks for all the videos. wish I'd have the space and time that you guys have. well done.

For in case of “SNOOZE” sickness breaking, Drink a glass of water half hour before going bed the night before and another glass just before sleeping; You would feel like to use washroom on time. No more alarm settings are required; Just switch the shower on your head once done with flushing out Urination.
4:02 I tried the "easy" bridge and it was harder than a floor bridge! My shoulders/biceps are too tight for that position, I think - do you recommend a stretch I can do to gain the flexibility for that bridge?
Quit cold turkey. Weening never works. For anything. Weening off is just cope. Go through that discomfort. It’s only temporary. But weening is just a waste of time. You don’t need nicotine to quit nicotine. You don’t need alcohol to quit alcohol and you don’t need caffeine to quit caffeine.
Well the alarm and snooze are there only because most of the time I don't get enough sleep in the first place. Long work days, long travel times to home, and staying late on the computer leaving you with 4-5 hours to sleep. With enough sleep when I was not at work for long periods of time I get up regularly at very similar times without alarms.
