Hutchinson Kansas has an underground salt museum that a pitch black elevator takes you over 600 feet underground to an amazing salt cavern plus historical artifacts you can see that is stored there. Go see it. You won't be disappointed. Take the long tour.

There’s one major problem. The first picture shown is Kansas City, Missouri. That is not Kansas. This is bad advertising smh.

I love how the very first shot of a city is of Kansas City, MISSOURI, which is where all the real attractions in "Kansas" are. Missouri has all the attractions. There is nothing in Kansas.

I respectfully disagree with your statement of Kansas having nothing. As someone who explores both the Show-Me State and Sunflower State that is incredibly false like the first shot used in this video.

@@bobbyhodgeii8808 Relatively speaking, there is very little in Kansas which is why the state is dead last in tourism and why nearly everybody in the state lives near KCMO. The Flint Hills are kind of pretty, but for the most part, there is nothing there and nearly everything that Kansas is known for as far as tourism is actually in KC, Missouri. Even the main airport for Kansas is in Missouri.

@@kc2dc444 I live in the metro area myself. I will agree with you on one thing. Missouri easily outnumbers Kansas on a multitude of things but that doesn’t necessarily mean there’s nothing in Kansas. Between the two states Missouri has better attractions and cities. Although on suburbs that can somewhat be considered a tie depending on which suburbs we’re talking about. Kansas has been my home all my life so I’m constantly exploring the state as well as Missouri. I guess it all depends on what you’re looking for.

@@garyhink2015now you know you’re lying lol. you’re just trying to insure folks don’t move here .. I get it ..
I live in Kansas and it’s not below zero in winter ( we’re not Maine, Vermont) we just got hit with inclement .. snow ice ..it’s 32 degrees 4:35 am at the moment
and while summer can be hot it’s not miserable hot all summer .. just not true … the weather is not the same every year ..
I’m from Louisiana.. I know hot and humid . Sticky ..
Kansas is no different than other states when it comes to hot summers and varied winters
