As no hi
Watch new episodes of "let me call a buddy of mine"
I thought Nevada was going to close down the economy till everyone went bankrupt? Are you guys opening up in defiance?! That would be awesome.
TURN ON SUBTITLES PLEASE!!!!
Its what is this
3 inch long William Hart stamp on the barrel.
Collector: "I didn't see that"
Correction...
Actor reading script: "I didn't see that"
No way a master gunsmith put that much effort into building a rifle like that and didnt bother to stamp his name straight or cut better looking brass heart inlay.
Is it just me, or do the inlaid brass hearts on the stock look like they were probably not created by a master gunsmith?
It was 1830
Colt Knight Hart trade mark. Those are absolutely authentic rifles and they do not appear to be made from semi modern parts. Hart made his rifles as fast as possible to meet demand at a competitive price. Hart rifles were not marketed to the elite, he made his rifles to sell at an affordable yet close to the top of the price range an average rifle would sell for.
You didn’t even notice a big William hart tag on the barrel and you’re gonna question the expert? 😂
There is absolutely no way the guy missed that.
MAGAts in a nutshell.
A "collector" would not be going to pawn stars, they would know the collectors market.
The dude is a wannabe. You can tell by his attitude at the appraisal. For starters, a real collector almost certainly would have been able to tell they were circa 1940's. Not only that but a real collector would respect the appraisal and if they genuinely disagreed with it, they wouldn't resort to childish name calling and using the opinion argument...
@@adamzupancic7952 orrrr the show is just fake
@@adamzupancic7952 more likely the show is just fake & they just brought this guy on to create a spicy episode. Also, I'm fairly certain that if someone undercut you the way the Harrisons so often do, you'd probably resort to "childish name calling" too. So let's get down from our high horse, champ
@@MrSniperdude01 It was just explained that a real collector would not get undercut like this and if he did, he would have raised genuine points of contention. Atleast, he wouldn't just be upset without having a valid point.
@@MrSniperdude01 So to avoid this happening to you, simply do not atribute a value to something with confidence without having a darn clue what it is.

2. He STILL comes back. 🙄
3. Appraiser finds manufacturers name STAMPED on the barrel almost immediately.
(seller)= ‘I didn’t see that’. 😳
Yes, how can he call himself a collector if he can´t even recognize that the parts are from different time periods.

Who knew, wanting to have beer with men is a thing too.
That little dude used to be a Marine can you imagine that 😂 He wins the trophy for 'most hated appraiser' on Pawn Stars for sure.
That title goes to Steve Grad.

It would be hilarious if a customer comes in the shop looking to buy a rare expensive item the following happens: The customer picks out an item they want and Rick presents it to them with the price tag on it. Then the customer says: Don't know alot about this let me call in a buddy of mine whose an expert on these things. Can you imagine Rick's head EXPLODING!!!!!
He would tell him :"Let me call my buddy who is an expert on throwing people out."
Stupid
There’s an episode where the buyer is an expert about cuff links and teaches Rick something.

I need Ian McCollum's assessment of this situation.
Every customer is angry with Craig's appraisal.....he appraises items very low!
They lowball them so rick can have a better bid. So fake
Some scandals have surfaced over the years. Their “experts” aren’t actually credentialed.
Craig and Steve are scammers
Craigs the type of guy to rrmind the teacher to collect the homework assignment
FIRST off, they aren't "customers". They're sellers. Second, it's a free appraisal. They are welcome to present their own appraisal but Rick doesn't have to go by it; THIRD, if Rick doesn't buy it, _nobody is out anything._ So take a swing at the little ex-Marine and see what it gets you. You might win a wheelchair for life.
This guy should not be calling himself a firearms collector.
Anyone can be a collector. It just doesn't mean they are good at it.
This guy is a collector, eh? The "H" on the hearts....and the NAME ON THE BARREL!!! "I didn't see that."
His facial reaction at the man who’s doing the appraisal with the music going as if he’s going to smack that dude around. 😂😭
Craig is really brave for such a small guy.🤣
Alexander the Great conquered the Persian Empire and was 5 feet tall.
1:27 he wasn't having it 🤣🤣
"Oh you have a transforming toilet that sings holiday show tunes, and makes bread? I have a guy just for that"
What sort of bread? Probably sourdough...
"Ah here on the top of the barrel."
"I didnt see that.."
*Name engraved literally in clearest most noticeable spot ever...*
To be fair, it would be easier to see if it had a neon pop-up sign with the name on it. And a few cheerleaders spelling it out in classic alphabet dance moves. So yeah i can easily see why he missed it.
My grandfather had a rotating rifle with a star pattern nearly identical to these, he got them from his great uncle, who had it since the 1860's. The only difference was the barrels were larger and smaller caliber.
pretty cool! i live in Fredonia, New York. never knew about william hart
He's my old neighbor!! Cool guy!
I love how the appraisers “know” every fact about these items on the top of their heads
The shows scripted.
@Midnight do they really have a studio replica of the shop? I know its scripted I just thought they'd do the filming after closing hours or something similar?
It's inside the shop, just adjust time for it to be filmed
Most of the time the item is owned be the collector. The "customer" is an actor. This is a scripted show folks. Most of the things they get in would be sold at an auction catering to that type of item, NOT to a pawn shop, by any rational person.
Rebecca Romney did an AMA on Reddit and she said that everything is scripted, and the experts are notified of what item is in the shop beforehand, allowing them to prepare research beforehand.
Craig (the appraiser) definitely smokes a bowl before every appraisal you can just tell
Hickok 45, "Let's smoke some pot"

Hi Pablo! Thanks for being a #PawnStars fan!

He also owns a patch of Hitler's pubic hair
@@jasontimmons2642 Word is, Craig keeps it in his drawers.
"You know, I know he used to be a gunmaker in the 19hundreds, but....."

The workmanship on the heart inlay looked like it was done with a dull dog biscuit.
“ I just don’t know enough about them “
Never any excuse for threatening an appraiser with violence just cause he doesn’t like his valuation
I love the old man he's sassy lol
rest in peace old man
Seller: *Has the arc of the covenant*
I’d like 1 million for this
Rick: let me call my arc of the covenant guy
Arc of the covenant guy: yep it’s legit, this is priceless.
Rick: I’ll give you 12.50, I’m taking a big risk on this, if you ask for any more I’ll kick you in the balls and have you escorted out
Rick is ALWAYS taking a chance on anything, it's his favorite line. I mean, he took on Chumlee and look how that turned out.
I read all of Rick's lines in his voice lol
Craig is just being honest.
$750 to $1000 is a legit move it off the shelf not have it sit there for 15 years and rust price. A lot of collectors aren't professionals. Craig seems to be.
Craig could be low balling the real value so Rick can cash in on the sellers lack of intelligence on the value of an item.
dude valued this thing out of opinions and possibilities
Once you've shown your desperation, you've lost. Sometimes you just have to be prepared to walk away.
I would LOVE to see someone actually smack an expert after low balling their item.

The experts are always waiting by their phones cuz they know rick is gonna call them.
They are standing outside just waiting for the call so they can deliver their scripted and much rehearsed lines.

Oh snap the old man is back?
Ha ha. He's feeling better now.
I’ve been watching you guys since day one.
@Steven Hickman Not me?
I'll take, 'Things a stalker would say' for £200 please...
I often wonder if Rick and the his "so called experts" aren't in on it together. Rick always asks first "How much are you looking to get for them" before he makes his call. Then when he calls his expert in, he lets them know on the phone what the person is wanting for them and to appraise them low when they look at the item. That way Rick gets even a better deal. NEVER reveal your price until AFTER the expert looks at them. Always get your item appraised before going into sell something IMO and get an appraisal certified in writing or a receipt to make yourself more knowledgeable before going to the Sharks. They will take advantage of you. ALWAYS! It makes the playing field more even and maybe get you more than you anticipated in the beginning.
everyone but you is in on it, the show is fake.
I have a buddy of mine that knows way more about pawn shops than I do. Let me give him a call, get him down here, and make a deal...

That's an insult to the rare rotating rifle collecting community
One of the revolutions most noted marksmen was a man named Tim Murphy he reputedly used a double barreled flint lock rifle, but whether that piece was a turn barrel like these, or a side by side rifle is a matter of conjecture, because no rifle that can be attributed directly to him has ever surfaced, what is known however is that he killed two high ranking British officers, ( legend has it that they were generals) with two consecutive shots, at the battle of Kings Mountain.
That guy was a real pusher
I'm from Fredonia NY. William Hart was also the first person to ever drill for natural gas
"Oh my god it's you again!"
