Thank god for the ending I thought that dude would never put his eyebrows down
Just read this, cracked up immediately and couldn’t stop starring at his shiny face
Pretty sure they made him do that to look better its a hollywood trick you you keep a big smile then raise your eyebrows keep eyebrows up get rid of the smile and boom...i know it sounds stupid but that is what they do
It looks like Rick was holding back busting out laughing at the dude
OMG, that’s hilarious
@@edi1mex nah, maybe just how he looks
Still have yet to see a customer that isn't annoyed by the incessant little history lesson. They're just like "that's cool, just gimme my money."
He's tall
No Rick if the gun wasn't messed with, you still wouldn't have paid 3000
Me neither, old experimental rifle, it’s been altered further and refinished, with some weird discontinued cartridge too, finding a buyer to pay big would be tougher than finding a white rhino.
I totally agree!
Paid*
It wasn't messed with fyi
actually its one of the trail guns from the 1861 navy trails.
the clear giveaway are the screws on the receiver that in the production version were replaced by rivets.
Guy: This is an 1861 experimental rifle
Rick: It's most likely some sort of prototype
Sharp shooter is a British term that predates the manufacturing of the Sharps rifle by at least 50 years. The term sharpshooter was not derived from the Sharps rifle. I’m sorry. Carry on.
Yup. Didn't even need an expert. Just googled the word and it popped up 1801 for the British and 1781 for the Germans.
That tape measure was probably from Harbor Freight. Nobody messed with the barrel.
$1,000 bucks is an insult to the modified rifle community
Dane cook recycling jokes
stfu meme boy.
Chooches
C'mon you work with that guy?
😂
I laughed when Rick said... If it was exact size.. I would have given 3000
the dude selling the gun looked like a serial killer
I was just thinking that haha i forsure got serial killer vibes off him
looks like he kills a bowl of cereal every morning... lol
cereal killers don't gel their hair. show me one cereal killer ever who gelled their hair.
looks more like a nark.
check his basement
@@kysike666 idc what's in his basement... show me literally any serial killer that has used har gel.... they don't do it.
A strong "American psycho" vibe indeed.
the term sharp shooter was in use before the Sharp rifle. the term "old reliable" was engraved on the barrel.
They should call this show Pawn I would like someone to take a look at it stars
dude - “hey, this is my rifle”
rick- *babbling facts*
the dude- “wow. that’s crazy but i didn’t ask!”
i mean, they did, since to get onto the show you have to contact them with what it is and what you expect to get
Glad he walked away from that one. I'd surely get another opinion from someone else.
That rifle is probably worth 5 grand or more to a collector that has money
Sure, anyone looking to a pawn shop to give them top retail price on anything is dumb.
Ya a REAL gun expert maybe..
I miss the old man! and my old man to....
Too*
@@dickdrip reminds me of my old man sorry didnt mean to poke a scar
F
Old Sharps experimental with a cut off barrel, altered stock, and probably unavailable cartridge caliber, dude should’ve taken the cash.
Load of bull we all know the appraisals are bs in favor of rick
Jason Michael in what planet lmao 😂
They’re free to go sell it wherever they want.
davids11131113 oh really? I thought they were confined to that specific pawn shop
That’s what people seem to think here.
nope, appraisal was good, these guys also have their reputation to protect. If they are bullshitting especially in live television, they would lose any credentials they have just like that.
The guy was probably into it for $1500 and didn’t want to lose any.
That's why he got a "good deal" from the other pawn shop. Do some study before you start getting into the gun trading business
If you’re in the ‘gun trading business’ at pawn shops, you’re dumb.
Being in the “gun trading business” without an FFL is illegal so I wouldn’t be publicly announcing it like you’re an expert.
@@Infam0usStr1ke Totally agree
@@Infam0usStr1ke it's actually not if the gun is old enough.
The expert said 1500 to 2000. The expet did not say it was exactly more than that sheesh
How about you do some research before you try to sell it.
I would take it to Rock island auction
Can't find ammo ..? I'll give you 10 buck for the rifle ..get out of here..
when you buy something at a pawn shop, then try to resale it at another pawn shop 99% of the time you lose
He said I bought it from a pawn shop and got a great deal 😂😂 no I think the pawn shop got a good deal
Where's Craig Gottlieb?
That’s a cool rife!
Love this stuff
*expert literally tells him everything about the rifle*
“I’m gonna go home and do some research on it.”
...
Rick's paid expert! Du dude! Rick has to double his money! That's the name of the game!
Anyone would. No one should just take someone's word
"Do some research" is the pocket objection for the real objection of, "Your offer is too low"
_"An experimental weapon with experimental ammunition..."_
Biscuitchris7again well played
One of my favorite movies.
Mmmmbout there stop
2:38 Rick - "It's a dead market."
2:57 Expert - "There's a large collector base for these guns."
Uncle Josh's True Scary Stories he said THIN market not dead lol.
"I found the rifle at a pawn shop so obviously I'm selling it at a pawn shop"
02:07 when Chum said "kinda like me"
And i started wondering how accurate he mean
Yeah, what is he implying? He can blast his load across the room and hit a girl in the face?
He can hit _juuuust_ the right vein
A lot of people don't seem to understand that Rick isn't buying the stuff for himself, he's buying it to sell.
That guy needs to find out who modified it, and when. Could be done by the manufacturer.
True. This gun is handmade so there is possible someone make this difference when making it.
That's a sweet RIFE
Chumble & Ricc are both thicc
He really thought he was gonna sell it for $2000
"it's disheartening a pawn shop won't pay me retail."
If you have original patina you have an original firearm if it's been modified by sharps who built the rifle it's still a sharps and should be worth more money there is nothing wrong with that firearm someone might have sanded the stock but other than that rifle is Cherry
You go a pawn shop for quick money, never expect to get what you want, no matter if there low balling you
Was that brandon and lori in the background there at :16
Dude selling the rifle is like shut up Rick I know more about guns than you do..
1050 is ok
Old low ball Rick tells all about the Sharps and then let me call a friend I'm glad the guy didn't take the offer.
0:09 Rick and I have the same watch. Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss!
@@houston77073 let's see it buttercup. 😉 😘
Best I can do on the Rolex is 25 bucks.. I'm taking all the risk here.
Living The Dash rick only paid $30. For his
So what do you want a purple heart.
“Even though the expert said it was worth more” how do these dummies think buying and selling works?
That face he's pulling at 1:12 just says "I don't care what's it worth?"
Takes out measuring tape : yeah I value this gun at 1750...
Gosh he’s really lucky he didn’t get ripped off
“i’m gonna take the gun home and punish it for disappointing me”
Sean needs to comeback
Nobody wants this old obscure caliber, junk. Dude had a solid cash offer. Good luck.
You are sadly mistaken this is rare rifle thus bumping it's price for collectors
Mike C what was obscured about the caliber?
He's the"Quiet kids"soft and silet type
He should of took the 1000 that gun is worthless
Rifle spelling mistake
Heavy D bommmmmmmm vai Corinthians
Personally I feel that the gun was used in the Calvary that's why the rear stock looks like it's been sanded it has been sanded with the leather scabbard that it was in the bouncing of a horse would rub the wood that wayI doubt anyone in their right mind would buy a sharps long-barrel rifle design for sea men and cut it down themselves thus destroying the accuracy if it was modified it was done by Sharp's
Boy people love to hate on these offers lol. 1000 is very fair. You automatically assume that the lowest number is what you will get which is 1500. This is also a tough sell bc u doubt many collectors are looking for something that's been messed with this much. 1100 is the top I would have went of I was Rick amd even there you wont make much.
What do people do with experiments? they mess with it.
Where does Rick's logic come from taht this should have not messed with.
the expert messed up on that as well, if was 23 or 25, it is not an experiment, it is a manufacture value details and epecs.. scammer..
I got the rifle from a pawn shop and now I'd like to sell it to a pawn shop
If you’re watching, I’ll pay your $1500
What a nice history
It's disappointing cause even the expert said it was worth more than that
Did this guy seriously go in to a pawn shop and expect to be paid what it would be worth retail what a tool and you can just tell he was expecting rick to turn around and say yeah I'll give you 1500 for it at the end
I don't get it. People still think they can the retail value while selling to a retail outlet. But pawn shops of course are shady. They'll still sell something retail regardless of wear or cosmetics.
"even an expert said it was worth more than that.." 🤔that's a perplexing statement from the man standing in a Pawnshop.
All in collusion, Ricks buddy is the one who will end up selling the weapon ,everyone gets a slice.
Looks like the Carbine MK2 from Modern Warfare
Is it just me or does the guy bringong in the gun sound like tom cruise
RICK'S A RIP OFF ,GO TO VEGAS SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR MONEY.?
I have a ssg300 sig sauer 7.62/51 Prototype with a longer Barrel it never was sold to public..so if i show that to Rick he will probably say it’s a fake Rifle lol !
Roma De’Roma slow down hero. Rick can’t buy anything less than a hundred years old. He does not have a license to deal in modern firearm
He should restore it and come back
It would then be worth even less.
flick22601 no it wouldn’t rick restored a pistol and it became a big profit
How do you know the barrel is cut down? Did you even look at the muzzle?
Lol that rifle is probably worth more like 3-5k. Would really like to see the number on this though
More videos without Chumless would be welcomed.
There was no “ shell “ for that gun Ricky
Ripping off the customer as usual.
That guy’s face is just 🙂
Never trust a bald pawn shop owner.
ALSO I CHURCHMAN HOMECOMING ICONIC OINTMENTS
He buys the gun from a gun shot to try to wheel and deal with another? The first pawn shop had to know what they were buying as it is.
Philada - Have to use that abreviation next time.
They don’t know what they are talking about that gun is super rare to find.
He looks like a red Bundt kinda guy
hope someone brings in a mp40 one day
That music at 1:00, what's the name?
Is this dominance
That expert did not take into account the chamber lenght when he measured the barrel .
He looks like a good bad guy
What is a rife
Superman trying to sell a gun
Get a real job
Gun owner looks like Cristiano Ronaldo.
This guy's nodding creeps me out.
Title says Rife
Why that guy always looks surprised? Like millhouse from simpsons
I would 😆
Ey up
Fake show
